Another lovely week at The Dunes.

Perfect location and accommodation is great.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Dunes last week, we’ll be back,

A fabulous second visit to this lovely property.

Well maintained, clean, comfortable and literally a home from home in the centre of Crantock with everything you need when self catering. The only downside is finding somewhere to park. It was much busier than our last visit in June 2018 when we didn’t have any issues parking but it was quite difficult this time around. This is probably due to a vast increase in people visiting the village to eat in both pubs and The Jam Jar. There is definitely no issues in finding somewhere to eat as all serve lovely food!! Saying this, it wouldn’t prevent us from booking again as such a beautiful village with the best beach in the area. Huge thank you to the hosts and hopefully will be back again soon.

The property has everything we would want, both accommodation wise and facility wise. Situated in beautiful Crantock with the best beach in the world!

Absolutely loved our stay at The Dunes.

A holiday that offers all the comforts of our home but in a wonderful setting.

The Dunes is the perfect holiday home and is equipped for all your needs.

Well located just a few minutes from the beautiful beach, two pubs and a shop that stocks all you need. The cake and milk on arrival were just what we needed after our journey. Nice out door space to enjoy the afternoon sun. Parking permit appreciated (village hall is only a short walk). We stayed as a party of 4 and were comfortable. I would note that the bedroom and bathroom on the 3rd floor have a restricted height due to the dormer style so don't choose that room if you are tall. We would definitely return to this property as so much more to explore.

We had a wonderful weeks stay in this lovely property.

Everything we needed super clean too. The location was amazing 10 minute walk to the beach less than a 5 minute walk to both pubs. A shop seconds away. Just a fantastic place to stay the village was just so pretty a visit to the church is recommended so beautiful. We will definitely come back xx

We absolutely loved our stay at The Dunes.

We couldn’t fault anything with the property or the facilities. Unloading and loading the car was easy around the back of the property. Location being central to the village made it easy to go for food and drink. Brilliant week and hopefully we’ll be back one day

Fabulous stay.

Ideal location for the walk to Crantock beach and straight across from the village shop. Enclosed garden ideal if you have a dog. Everything you need to cater for yourselves. The outdoor shower is perfect for wetsuits and sandy dogs/shoes.

The house was grand, but the parking arrangements were quite off-putting.

We would like to stay at the house again, but not until proper on-site parking is available.

Second time at The Dunes and the property once again didn’t disappoint.

The new decking area is a great addition along with the outside shower.

Beautiful property, absolutely spotless and equipped with everything we might need.

Excellent location over the road from the village shop and a short walk to the pubs. We loved the 1st floor living space and the overall floor plan. We are 6 women who travel once a year together and enjoy walking, the housekeepers set up the beds as 6 singles which was great as in other properties we would need to share doubles. Can’t fault it! Thank you!

The reason why I did not give it five stars is because all the shower heads need cleaning.

Everything you need for a holiday. Lovely garden at the back, idea for a barbeque. Thanks Kim for all the hard work you put in. Excellent location in Crantock village short walk to the beach. Shop across the road, plus a pizza restaurant and two pubs.

The Dunes is a decent property however I was pretty shocked to be then chased up a few days after returning home to say I owed a further £40 for bringing our dog.

We have been coming for several years and have always enjoyed it, but this has left quite a sour taste. I would obviously have happily paid the extra for the dog, but couldn't find anywhere in my account when trying to modify my booking to add a pet, so I assumed it wasn't an extra cost. To then be called and emailed chasing down the extra £40 was not a great way to treat loyal guests who have recommended this place to several friends.

A lovely little place in nice surroundings.

We had quite serious car trouble whilst there so spent considerably more time at the property than we would normally do. So feel like we are best placed to say what a pleasure it was to stay. (and of course the bay was beautiful as always) Thanks you. John & Jackie.

Lovely stay - great location.

Cottage well equipped and very comfortable. Only negative is no parking - permit only provided at village hall from April to September - limited parking (very tight) for two cars at front of property and one car didn’t move for most of stay and quite congested in road at back of property

The house exceeded our expectations.

We all thought it was a great property. Everything we needed was provided. The property was emaculate. The location was ideal we all really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely comfortable cottage in an ideal location in the centre of the village.

The parking at the village hall was close by so we booked an additional permit for our second car which we thought was good value at £25 for the week. We especially liked the layout of the kitchen and living area which was really spacious. Plenty of hot water on demand for showers and baths.

We have been to Crantock on many occasions stopping in various accommodation, the Dunes was the best so far.

It was very clean comfortable in a great location. The kitchen was well equipped with little touches like tea coffee milk and a lovely cake to get you started. There was even dish washer tablets, which we forgot, washing detergent, dog bowls everything you may need. The bed we used on the bottom floor was very warm and comfortable. The roomy lounge was also comfortable but could do with a larger TV for those rainy days in. The garden was small but adequate with lots of seating areas. On the whole we had a great stay. The village and surrounding area is beautiful. Great for walking, dining at the local pubs, having a coffee at local coffee shop, buying essential from shop across the road, catching bus to Newquay which stops less than 2 mins walk away. We would definitely book again.

Our 5th time at this Lovely Cottage!

Fantastic location and lovely property, perfect for a large or extended family. A convenient 5 minute walk to the beach. Pub and shop were a 2 minute walk which was very handy. Bus stop into Newquay 100 yards from cottage door 1 x double bedroom and bathroom on Attic Floor and 1 x double bedroom and bathroom on Ground Floor with the Lounge and Kitchen in the Middle. This makes it absolutely perfect for extended family and friends to enjoy complete privacy. Back in October with my elderly parents. Thank you

A lovely cottage, we really enjoyed staying there.

Location was perfect for the beach and local shop as well as the village pubs. Exactly as listed.

The only tiny issue was going to bed on a night and not having a signal on most of the channels on the television and usually the channel we’d been watching on the 1st floor, problem was on the ground floor and the 2nd floor but other than this the Dunes was brilliant.

Excellent stay in this clean and comfortable cottage.

Close to local shop and pubs and only a ten minute walk to the beach! Only downside was parking 2 minutes away otherwise would have been a 10/10

This is our second stay at the dunes and it was wonderful both times.

The house is well appointed and perfectly situated. We loved it!

Very clean and comfortable holiday accommodation.

The garden is a lovely little suntrap. We found it convenient for the beach, local pubs and the village shop which is just across the road! Would certainly recommend.

The cottage was very well equipped, had everything we needed and more besides.

Very clean, comfortable accommodation, comfy beds and plenty of space. The only (minor) downside is that there is no parking immediately outside the cottage, although this is available at the village hall car park (permit provided) about 3 mins walk away. Not ideal as we had a baby with us, but the shop is only 40 paces away and does very good pasties! Would highly recommend the cottage.

Our Third visit to this cottage and this time our Sons came along;; they loved the place as much as us.

Kim the housekeeper was lovely and it was ready early on our arrival day as we travelled early morning, thank you so much. Already looking forward to booking again.
