  • "Bumbles is a great cottage in an excellent location."

It is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. We had everything we needed for a relaxing week of dog walking and mooching around Padstow. We think this is a very good location, close to all the amenities but quiet and peaceful. We will definitely visit Bumbles again. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway at any time of year.

Thankyou for the lovely feedback and for helping me sort the sink out! You’re very welcome back anytime. Property Owner

  • "This house was FANTASTIC!"

The best well equipped house we’ve ever stayed in!!! Everything you could ever need and the owner really had put out little bits and pieces should you need them (spare batteries, lightbulbs, cleaning supplies etc). As soon as we entered the place smelt clean and was immaculate. Can’t fault this place

Lovely to hear, Thankyou! You are welcome back to Bumbles anytime! Property Owner

After parking up and unpacking, make yourself fully at home in your new dwelling, where the chosen chef can get to work in the fully-equipped kitchen, filled with all the appliances required to rustle up a delicious, home-cooked meal that can be savoured around the dining table before you settle down to watch a film or two in the well-appointed sitting area.

In warmer months, head out back to the rear courtyard, where you can begin to prepare a tasty, alfresco feast that you can enjoy on the garden furniture, a perfect way to spend a hot summer's day.

When sleep calls, be sure to refresh with a rejuvenating shower or a restorative bath before you head for a well-earned rest in either a plush double or twin bedroom.

After you've polished off your morning coffee, take a brief stroll into the centre of Padstow, where you'll find an abundance of things to do and see.

Stock up on essentials at the nearby Tesco Superstore; pick up some trinkets at Stein's Gift Shop; grab a Cornish pasty from The Cornish Bakery, before settling down for traditional pub lunch at the Old Custom House, Padstow, which overlooks the tranquil spot of Padstow Harbour, or sample some local produce at Rick Stein’s, The Seafood Restaurant.

Within the area you’ll also find a plethora of clothes shops, gift shops and independent boutiques to ease your stay.

If you fancy a day trip out of town, a brief car journey east along the coast will bring you to nearby Polzeath, where you can find the stunning nature reserve of Pentire Point, snap some gorgeous photos from the viewpoint of The Rumps, or even just spend an afternoon sunbathing on the soft sands of Polzeath Beach.

Join the Southwest Coastal Path for further coastal vistas, stopping off at the lovely beaches of Watergate, Porth, and Newquay, and many more, majority of which are dog-friendly, all year round.
