  • "Very good quality accommodation with comfortable beds and a decent location."

    The distance to the centre of Falmouth is relatively short on the way down but very steep on the way back. Would have appreciated a fan or two in the very hot weather we encountered when we were there as we left a night early to get back to the cool of our own home. Would have appreciated an umbrella and cushions for the balcony furniture to make it tolerable in the heat. Also a blind on the kitchen window would have helped to keep the kitchen a bit cooler as a lot of our time was spent there in food preparation because my wife is Ceoliac and eating out isn’t easy. Overall a really pleasant and reasonably equipped property with a great view of Falmouth.

  • "I had no issues at all with the apartment - in fact everything was of a very high standard."

    My issue was with the area - as you walked up the steep hill from the town you had to walk through a square were drunks and drug addicts congregated even during the day. The area where the apartment was located was in a deprived residential area and gave no holiday vibes at all - and did not match the standard of the apartment - very disappointed

Fal View is indeed a high standard property thank you for acknowledging that and it is situated on private land for residents with dedicated parking area with a management company that takes great care of our building incuding fascias, guttering etc and was indeed only repainted just a couple of years ago, we hope you also enjoyed the patio doors and balcony with amazing sunrises while overlooking the harbour, sea and Pendennis Castle along with further splendid river views. It is highy unusual to receive comments about any of the local areas as can be seen from the other excellent feedback on our advert. We are glad you enjoyed the property itself and thank you for the excellent cleanliness and comfort scores, much appreciated as we do take great pride in the presentation of the property for guest enjoyment.   • "We would be nitpicking to find any criticism of this property."

    Cleanliness was of the highest order, as was the range of facilities available. Apart from the amazing views we were impressed by the comfortable beds, furniture and bathroom facilities as well as the attention to detail throughout. The interior decor was highly impressive including ample and efficient lighting, stylish ornaments and tasteful pictures. In short, we felt at home from the moment of our arrival until our departure. The caretaker resolved a minor issue concerning availability of a second set of keys promptly and efficiently. We are in no doubt that particular credit is due to her and her team for the cleanliness of the flat. We would like to thank the owner and would not hesitate to book this property again.

  • "Fal View is an excellent home from home, very comfortable, beautifully furnished, equipped with everything one could wish for and spotlessly clean."

    The location couldn't be better: central yet very quiet and with stunning views. We've stayed at many holiday apartments before, but Fal View is the best of all. We hope to return soon. Thank you to the owners for sharing this great apartment.

  • "Beautiful apartment with great facilities, even better than pictures."

    Fantastic views from most rooms and felt like home from home. Location great for town and walks. Could easily live there, spacious with great decor. Good internet and smart TVs. Will definitely be back. Really hard to find anything we didn’t like. Pubs nearby too and dedicated parking space. Maybe a bit hilly for those people less mobile and could be improved by a Bluetooth speaker, but will bring our own next time and loved this place.

  • "We loved this duplex apartment."

    It was really well equipped with everything we needed & was clean, bright & spacious. The furnishings were good quality, modern & really comfortable. It had good views of the well lit up harbour at night, the beach areas were within walking distance & also the town centre.

    The only thing I would update is the small bathroom window which is clear glass and would be better if made obscure for privacy reasons.

  • "Oh my word, what a GORGEOUS property."

    Very well presented, and IMMACULATELY clean. The quality of the fittings and fixtures was superb, and the views just incredible. Would have absolutely no hesitation in returning if we're ever in Falmouth. We've already recommeneded it to a number of friends. (In case the photos are confusing, there's a superking bedroom with ensuite on the main floor, and a zip-and-link superking bedroom with ensuite on the floor above. In addition there's a third toilet on the main floor.)

  • "Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthaltes extrem wohlgefühlt."

    Die Einrichtung ist sehr, sehr hochwertig, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Eine gelungene Mischung aus Tradition und Moderne. Der Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus ist Gold wert. Die Kommunikation mit Cornish Cottage Holidays verlief zuverlässig und reibungslos. Als kleine Anregung: Standardmäßig ein zweiter Schlüsselsatz wäre praktisch, wenn man - wie wir - mit älteren Kindern (15 + 19 Jahre alt) oder auch als zwei Paare unterwegs ist. Alles in allem 5 von 5 Sternen. Jederzeit wieder.

  • "This property is wonderful."

    It’s in a great location, close to a brilliant pub, The Boathouse, it’s clean and spacious. It has an upstairs bedroom which can either be a double of 2 singles which is en-suite as well as a double on the first floor which again is en-suite. It also benefits from having a separate toilet. We loved having a cup of tea/coffee on the balcony with a fabulous view. We were thrilled to of booked this property and would definitely go back. Additionally it was also dog friendly which was exactly what we were looking for.

  • "Lovely property."

    Suggestions for improvement: Bedroom is excessively light in the morning; would benefit from curtains over window openings in addition to existing blinds. More tea/coffee mugs. Stick vacuum was ineffective - get a Bosch!

  • "This was THE most wonderful of any place we ever rented for a holiday visit!"

    Not only is it incredibly chic, quiet and beautifully furnished, FalView offered so much more. It was totally comfortable and the views of river made us happy. Everything in the apartment is state-of-the-art and freshly done.We cannot say enough about FalView and would love to return.

  • "Only issue is the steep walk back from the town."

    No issue for the passably able but something to consider if aged or infirm. Overall well worth the effort though for the space, comfort, facilities and view. Very handy for the great Boathouse pub.

  • "Had a wonderful stay at Fal View."

    The apartment was really well stocked, beautifully designed and superbly comfortable. Just a short walk down to the high street too. The only items we didn't have which we needed were a tea towel and oven gloves but it was lovely to have bathrobes provided and a very welcome treat of scones, cream and jam. The views from the balcony and windows are stunning.

  • "This is a clever conversion of 2 apartments into a single very comfortable & spacious apartment."

    Both ensuite bedrooms are of equal merit and thus it would suit 2 couples very well. The apartment is very quiet with fantastic views and good quality furnishings. There is only parking for one car and whilst it may be possible to park on the street - due to the nature of the housing in the surrounding streets this might prove difficult. The apartment is so close to everything = we actually parked up for the week & walked in all directions - including taking a couple of ferries from the nearby pier. The apartment is just above the town - so if you go down then you have to come back up and some of the ways are pretty steep. When you get tired of eating out - there is everything you need to cook your own food in the apartment - though a few more glasses & mugs would be good for when the rest is in the dishwasher.
