  • "The house was amazing very well equipped and very comfortable."

View was amazing. We would definitely come again. As with most positions in falmouth the access to both the street and the house is very steep .

  • "The house was fabulous and in a wonderful location, only a 5 - 10 minutes or so walk to the main centre of Falmouth."

It was incredibly well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. The owners, Simon and Vanessa, were lovely people who wanted our stay to be a pleasurable one - which it was. We would have no hesitation in staying here again if we returned to Falmouth.

  • "A very interesting house to stay in which is roomy, very clean, and close to the harbour and town, and great to be able to walk there."

Falmouth is lovely place to be, with spectacular sea views, walks and lots to see and do, and plenty of visits within a short drive. Recommend a river trip on the Cornish Pleasure Cruises Dixie Belle...the commentary was comedy gold! Parking is fine at Siebien and just needs care reversing ono the drive, but glad we took the fiesta as the Falmouth streets are narrow and there are lots of parked cars. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • "Fantastic location."

Easy to leave the car for a few days whilst exploring on foot/ferries/train/bus. The cottage is more spacious than the photos indicate and was spotlessly clean. Kind and helpful owners. I would say the drive is only suitable for one car unless you have a 4x4 because our car blocked the top of the drive in order to get out because the rest of the drive is very steep. It is also quite narrow at the top of the drive. BUT you can park on the road outside the property free of charge.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Seabien, it's a lovely roomy property with a nice view over the estuary and it's located close to the town."

Everything was provided and it was a lovely touch by the owners to leave us some wine, biscuits and some daffodils on the table. In past reviews, the steep drive is mentioned a lot, yes, it is steep and you really do need to reverse on, but it didn't cause us any issues. I would and will use this property again and fully recommend.

  • "We have stayed at dozens of holiday rental properties over the years and this was one of the best."

It is so well located just 5 minutes from Falmouth town centre and yet on a very quiet road. Once parked (which despite some visitor comments to the contrary is easy, as long as you can reverse park) we had no need to use our car all week with long walks straight from the door or using the ferries, buses or train and walking back to Seabien. Seabien is exceptionally well equipped with plenty of cutlery, crockery etc. We found it very clean all over too - not just the obvious like the bathroom and kitchen - but everywhere. The owners live close by and we were encouraged to get in touch with Vanessa should we need anything or any advice about walks/best places to eat out etc. We like to stay in different locations and never return to the same place again - Seabien could well be an exception.

Everything we needed to cook meals in the kitchen and a stylish and comfortable lounge to hang out in. Good location for walking into Falmouth town centre and lots of information on the area in a clearly presented file. Would love to return in the summer but really enjoyed there being a Christmas tree as it felt like our Christmas had begun with picking up our daughter from university and staying here for 3 days before driving us all home.

  • "We loved our stay at Seabien."

The owners were very welcoming and helpful and offered great suggestions on local shops, activities or walks. The cottage is lovely, comfortable and well appointed, special mention for the kitchen which is very well equipped for a rental, down to a salad spinner! We enjoyed the patio with the beautiful view of the bay, perfect for pre-dinner drinks or morning coffee. We did have a challenge with the steep driveway and elected to park our rental car on the street. Falmouth is charming and an easy place from which to explore Cornwall. We would gladly return to Seabien for another stay.

The split level bungalow was bright and tastefully furnished. The location was close to all amenities and the owner provided small but greatly appreciated touches upon arrival. I agree with many comments about the steepness of the parking arrangement but this should not detract from the overall benefits of Seabien.
