  • "The house is fantastic!"

Absolutely everything we could have wished for in a holiday house. Stunning views, amazing location, and the house was perfect for 12 of us ranging in age from 4 to 79! (I secretly loved the wet room for returning from the beach

A brilliant family house. Very good position and the most amazing outlook. We hope we will be able to come again.

  • "This property is just amazing."

Its location alone is just perfect, right on the front with fantastic views of the bay across to Pentire and Stepper points with immediate access to the coastal footpath into Polzeath itself just 200 yds away. The accommodation is huge, even with 12 of us staying the house felt empty, the facilities are excellent with a complete range of appliances to meet all needs and an ensuite for every bedroom. Plenty of activities available to suit the needs of all ages, an exercise and games room, pool table and table tennis and a plunge pool which is much more than just that. Just about everything was catered for and for a three generation family gathering we couldn't have asked for more.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay at Seascape, and that the property suited you all so well. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back again sometime in the future - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "The property is stunning and we have stayed here before."

A minor point to note is that the wificode is "seascape", however the introduction email instructions and the cork board in the study in the property say it is "seascape111". Thanks for a fantastic and memorable stay.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back anytime in the future. We will check the Wi-Fi password and update where required. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "We have been holidaying in this area for 30 years but this was our first visit to Seascape for a special birthday gathering of 12 guests and it exceeded all our expectations."

It's a beautiful property with no expense spared in its modern build, with spectacular views and facilities. The ensuite facilities for all was a huge bonus and the wetsuit/drying area was ideal for muddy/sandy dog and human feet cleaning and drying, especially in the winter months! One warning, when unloading etc, the front door can easily lock you out if it shuts behind you without the key in hand or someone already inside! We did struggle a little with the Aga cooker but that was perhaps just our ignorance. The property rental is not cheap, but if sharing costs, is worth considering for the benefits gained. We hope to return again in the future for another special occasion.

  • "Great place, love to return, all very special thank you."

Very well equipped, kitchen equipment great. Bit of a challenge cooking for12 with just the one main oven space. Toilet on living area by study did not flush waste away. On going issue throughout the week. Septic Tank also smelt - not sure what can be done about this with it being vented so near the house! However would recommend, and have already booked again which speaks volumes in itself. Thank you.

We are pleased you enjoyed the property so much and have already booked again ! We are sorry for any issues with the toilet not flushing and the smell from the septic tank. We have raised this with our maintenance team to have a look but are grateful to you for letting us know. Property Owner

We had perfect warm weather - the only downside of that was that we couldn't use the Games room as it was just too hot in there even with the door open! Otherwise it was all perfect.

  • "We loved the house."

We have stayed in the area many times and Seascape was the best house we have stayed in. It was perfect for our extended family. The view was exceptional. We really have no criticisms other than the bumpy access road but understand that is not the owners issue.

The property

Seascape is a spectacular three-storey house overlooking the sparkling sea in Polzeath, Cornwall.

With six bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests, Seascape is the perfect property for a large group gathering to swim, surf or explore Cornwall’s beautiful coast.

With a private driveway with space for four cars, you will have no problem parking up and getting settled into Seascape straight away, where amazing views of the sea will immediately greet you in the open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area; plenty of seating to watch the large Smart TV and plenty of room for a group-effort fry up for the whole family.

On the ground floor, you will also find two cloakrooms and a spacious utility, equipped with a basin, two washing machines, a tumble dryer and two walk-in showers.

Next door, take advantage of the storage space to dump your wetsuits after a day at the beach.

If you need a quiet space to get some work done whilst you are away, there is also a study area with a large desk, two seats and a side door out onto the terrace so you can still enjoy the views.

Seascape boasts a lovely contemporary interior and is bright and airy throughout, making it hard to choose between the six fantastic bedrooms; just next door to two shower rooms and a games room, and another four on the first floor, all with en-suites; Seascape offers every guest a great space to relax and unwind after a busy day.

Outside the property sits a beautiful terrace, where you can recline on the furniture, taking in the breath-taking views, or if it gets too hot, jump into the plunge pool and relax there before sprucing up for dinner.

If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic property, Polzeath is a lovely seaside village which you can walk to via the South West Coastal Path just in front of the house, where you will find small shops, cafes and restaurants right by the sandy beach that promises the best waves for surfing, or take the coastal path to explore more of the area by foot.

Alternatively, walk left from Seascape to visit Daymer Bay which is a glorious family friendly bay with golden sands, popular with wind surfers and swimmers.

Just behind the beach is St. Enodoc Golf Club; a world renowned course and a must for the keen enthusiast.

From nearby Rock, you can take the foot-ferry to Padstow and trot down the family-friendly Camel Trail, which can be taken by foot or hiring bikes, or for your country house fix, visit the nearby Pencarrow House and Gardens which offers a children’s play area, café and Iron Age fort.

For a traditional, picturesque fishing village, Port Isaac is a short journey away from Seascape and is an Area of Outstanding Beauty, where you will see classic slate-fronted Cornish houses, plenty of lovely walks inland and along the coast, as well as a sheltered sandy beach perfect for families.

Further north takes you up the Atlantic Highway to the villages of Tintagel, where the hike to the castle ruins is well worth it for the panoramic views and Boscastle, where you can potter down to the harbour perhaps stopping for a coffee and cake along the way at one of the lovely cafes.

With glorious vistas and the perfect location, Seascape offers all the amenities you could possibly need for a wonderful holiday by the coast, whether you are seeking relaxation or an escape to the great outdoors.
