For us it’s very roomy and comfortable with a great outdoor space for children. Location wise it’s wonderfully quiet and perfect for exploring the whole of Cornwall. The host are fantastic and very helpful. We will be back for a 3rd visit I’m sure. Many thanks

  • "Very good quality property in convenient location."

Has everything you need for a perfect stay! All fixtures and fittings are of top quality with a great kitchen. Gate fold doors and large patio area are great. A blown fuse was very quickly fixed. Bed and sofa were not as comfortable as they looked (that might just be me!). WiFi speed very poor for anything more than basic use. Would definitely recommend this property.

  • "We loved The Corn Store, very clean and comfortable."

We did have some trouble trying to work out the microwave. If that’s all we have to comment about then we really have nothing to worry about. The owners warned us of the tight corner accessing the property, it was good to know before we got there but again no problem at all. It really is a lovely place and we would definitely recommend it to others and would stay there again.

The location is deep in the countryside which suited us and we enjoyed the peace and quiet when not out and about travelling. The cottage location was ideally situated to find lots of charming coastal villages, National Trust houses and English Heritage ruins. All in all a very good holiday.

  • "The cottage is very modern inside, open plan and the heating was great."

There was a lovely decorated christmas tree and lights waiting for us which was a nice touch (as well as mince pies and cream!). The location is great, we visited The Eden project 3 times, and there's lots else nearby in and around St Austells. It was great to have a large open grass space outside for our children to play in. We would definitely recommend the place to others.

That said, somewhere to hang our clothes would have been very nice & our pillows could have been a bit more comfy. Also, a few hooks in the bathroom would have been very handy.

  • "We had a lovely stay at the Corn Store in the first week of August."

The property was well equipped. Beds were comfy and the owners very welcoming. We loved the sense of space inside and out. There is a big area of grass out the front which was great for everyone to play on. There is plenty to see and do all within a 90 min max drive, if traffic is ok. There was a heat wave during our stay and we found the property very warm when we returned in the evenings as the sun shone right in through the windows. Unfortunately there were no curtains or blinds to close in the living room or kitchen. We would highly recommend this property.

Well equipped, modern barn conversion - not huge, but easily big enough for 4! Nice outside area and good accessibility for a wheelchair, although we needed our ramp for the step at the entrance, and shower access was quite tight.

. it forms a part of a row of houses which are also rented .. about three. We can’t really criticise the accommodation at all, we also had a problem with the heater and the owner was out right away and got us working, friendly chap. The surroundings which of course the owner has no control were slightly worse when many of the pleasant areas of Cornwall we visited. There are several large mines in the area which are visible and have haulage lorries, also the nearby village seemed a bit ragged and messy however I will point out this cannot be seen from the property … a great stay

  • "We had such a lovely holiday at The Corn Store."

The property was very clean and comfortable (that corner sofa was HEAVEN!) and on warm days, opening the glass doors fully and having the living room look out onto the patio was wonderful. The garden was huge and kept in such good condition. Our 15 month old had a wonderful time crawling round it. Lisa was the perfect hostess and she went to great lengths to make sure we had everything we needed, including high chair and travel cot. A word of warning for families with babies: there is no bath (I missed this on the listing) and so we bought a paddling pool in which to bath our son because he didn’t loving coming in the shower with us. This wouldn’t stop me booking again, but worth noting when planning your stay. The property is so close to both north and south coasts and lots of fun attractions. We even made it as far as St Ives which is an hour’s drive. We would definitely visit The Corn Store again!

Lisa was kind enough to leave us a list of beautiful coves and bays to visit along with a jar of her lovely homemade marmalade, she told us to look out for a barn in the area and true enough we saw several times swoop across the lawn. Fabulous holiday will definitely be back.

  • "Excellent location for exploring Cornwall."

Really comfortable house. Good owner listening. As a suggestion, there is room to improve cleaning: - dish soap almost empty.she will sort it soon. - Cleaning product nearly empty - Empty shampoo bottle in the shower. - There was no hand soap in a bathroom - very dirty vacuum cleaner and no suction. Because I've been working on vacation letting I know that the house needs to be replenished with all the toiletries. But overall I will highly recommend the house. I give the same feedback to the owner and she took on board my comments.

The accommodation was immaculate and the garden was so lovely especially with the sun setting over the hills in the evening. We have a 20 month old and it was just perfect. Lisa and Andrew went over and above to cater for her needs as well. The location was lovely, very quiet but only 20 minutes from the beach, and there are a variety of sandy and pebbly beaches nearby. All in all we had a lovely holiday and wish we didnt have to leave. We would highly recommend!
