"Great property- v lucky to find a cottage in Mousehole to sleep 6 and a parking spot- great location!"
And to accept short stay- thank you. We wished we could stay longer and all said we’d like to come back- it looks a cozy place for a winter stay.
Few tiny points on facilities/maint- bedside light master bed on right we couldn’t get to work - rather bright bulb in other one. Bad drain smell in yard when first shower used. Overall, no complaints as the upkeep is excellent and we liked the feel of the cottage.

"Very sweet cottage in a great location in Mousehole, 1 minute walk down to the harbour front."
My dog had a really great stay, the footpath off the road above the cottage leads to some lovely fields she could have a good run around.
Delicious meals in the Old Coastguard Inn and The Deli (both dog friendly).

"Lovely cottage with everything you need for the perfect holiday."
Beautifully furnished, decor lovely, nice garden to sit and relax in and big bonus- parking space! Experienced a small problem with boiler but was reported and dealt with the same day. Regularly visit Mousehole (30 years) stayed in various places in that time and this is one of my favourites! Thank you for another wonderful holiday.

"The housekeeper answered my email very quickly."
We couldn't get any hot water she sent the engineer straight out.
And when we had problems with the dishwasher towards the end of the week ,she sorted it straight away.
Unfortunately the cottage itself needs some loving , there is areas that need deep cleaning especially outside as well . The barbecue which is always a selling point when renting out cottages is unusable.
Obviously been sat there with a cover over it for a while just rusting away.
The house had a very damp smell which I can appreciate is a old building .
But not pleasant to walk into.
Ideally located just needs some loving put back into it

The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. Will probably stay again one day. It was easy to get into Mousehole.

"We had a great holiday in Mowzel and in chapel Place."
Parking is right at the door and my estate car fitted in the space no problem. Just a small space, but worth its weight in gold in Mousehole. Did not use garden, as it was too cold in November. Used woodburner, took logs and kindling with us, but Tesco petrol station in Penzance sells these.
Great cottage for access to Tremenheere and the Cape. St just was great. We visited St Ives, 30 mins away, but wouldn’t bother again….Very very steep hills.
The no.1 deli is fab in Mousehole, just round the bend from The Ship. We had amazing and delicious meals on the front, both at no.1 and also in Deli Kitchen. In fact the food all week has been incredible.
Back to the cottage. The downstairs shower room, I’d off the sitting room, so we only used the downstairs loo. Upstairs there was a Hypnos mattress. With a white company quilt in the main bedroom. Although the bed is smaller than were used to, a 5’ double we both slept through each night. I loved the small en-suite. However, I’m 5’ and a sized 10. My husband could not fit in there. The main shower room, which services the other 2 bedrooms was his to use. So in all 2 doubles, one twin. One en-suite and 2 shower rooms, it’s like the tardis! The kitchen/diner was small, but perfectly fitted out. Everything we needed was there for leisure’s breakfasts, whilst we planned our day. Dishwasher, great microwave, oven and a washer (did not use washing machine). We took our own dishwasher tabs, but some were provided. Plenty of loo rolls too! We’ve stayed in some cottages, where the basics were not there whem]n we arrived, but in 2 chapel place…tea/coffee/milk, biscuits and plenty of loo rolls/fairy liquid and dishwasher tabs.
We had a great holiday in Mousehole and were lucky to be there on bonfire night. The fireworks over the harbour were spectacular and I will never forget that feeling of being joyful and reminiscent of childhood days, just magical. People with sparklers in the beach, gathered round harbour wall to watch 30 mins of oooohhh’s and aaaarrrgh’s. Soon be Christmas lights and I only wish we were heading back to chapel place for what would be another memorable holiday.
Thank you to the owners of Chapel Place, it was lovely and you’ve got a really nice home in Mousehole.
The only thing that would be nice…A Radio in the kitchen.

"We have stayed at Chapel Place many times before when it was with a different owner so holds lots of precious memories."
We haven’t been for a few years, still love the space and parking but feel the cottage is in need of some TLC. The window frame in the main bedroom, the one with the en-suite, needs a good clean.
The garden is a big plus and location is perfect.
Would highly recommend a family to stay here.

"Wonderful location in Mousehole with parking which is rare (small/medium sized car) Lovely old cottage updated with all the facilities you require especially a downstairs toilet handy for those who struggle up the stairs and an outside courtyard to enjoy a meal outside when the weather is good."
Easy walk to the harbour. If you don’t mind not having a see view then this cottage is perfect.

Parking space was a bonus! Nicely presented and we found everything we needed easily. Lashings of hot water.
The only thing to pass on to the owners was that the extractor fan/light above induction hob didn't work and needs fixing.

"All in all a lovely cottage ,
I found the facilities and cleanliness fantastic every need was catered for ."
Mousehole itself is a lovely little village although quite awkward to navigate definitely worth visiting .
The only reason I marked down in the rating was due to my liking for soft mattresses of which I realise is not to everyone’s taste so can’t be altered , also a couple of cosmetic damages to the house and furnishings but nothing major or anything hat you wouldn’t expect from a holiday rental .
Would recommend to anyone with a family ( including dogs ) or people looking for a quiet holiday in a picturesque place with a good standard of accommodation .
