  • "We had a lovely stay at little Belz and enjoyed being in Polzeath , very convienient location for beach etc ."

    One of the main reasons for booking was the garden so very disappointing no gate either end , especially as a dog friendly property . Also I ordered bedding from eco laundry as suggested but didn’t expect to have to make beds up when we arrived . Feel with few tweaks could be a very nice property .

  • "Another excellent stay, especially in such good weather!"

    Contrary to the last review, both fridges worked perfectly well and the place was clean when we arrived. The new surface on the entrance way is much easier to clean for us and our dog. Jerry

  • "It was so lovely to go back to Little Belz after a few years, it truly felt like coming back to a home away from home."

    Everything was just as welcoming as we remembered. The beds are very comfy and the house is thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. One of the highlights is the fantastic location, with so many lovely walks (and the beach) on the doorstep. It's the kind of place where we instantly relax and feel at ease. We will hopefully be back again very soon.

  • "Lovely location and spacious house."

    However the house is very tired looking needs decorating and updating in places. The house wasn’t particularly clean and some equipment in the kitchen needed cleaning before use. The fridge doesn’t work well so milk and some food went off quickly. The garden isn’t enclosed so not dog friendly. With some updating this property could be lovely.

  • "This is our second time in this property and we find it very comfortable, very well equipped, plenty of space and a great location."

    Would definitely recommend. Our only feedback would be: It would be handy to have a lighter hoover that is easier to use (I think it's not working properly either), somewhere to hang / rinse wetsuits outside and wood flooring in the hall to help keep it cleaner.

  • "Lovely house for our short stay and would probably book again if staying in this area of cornwall."

    only issue we had was the TV in the lounge stopped working on our 1st night and was replaced on our last night, but we were just unlucky and there was a separate TV to use in the dining room.

  • "We could not fault the property it more than met our expectations, wonderful views, great location, plenty of crockery, cutlery, large fridge/freezer, plenty of space, homely."

    Lots of little extras and the bonus was 3 toilets, 2 baths and three showers. The property was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the three bedrooms were all very spacious with plenty of storage space the garden was lovely. Well done John Bray we would recommend you.

The property

Little Belz is a light and airy, detached holiday home, situated in an elevated position above Polzeath, Cornwall.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, Little Belz offers wonderful sea views of the Cornish coastline from its principal rooms, whilst a footpath runs down to the busy surf hub of Polzeath and all its amenities, sweeping golden sands and pounding surf.

Sleeping up to six guests, the home offers a wonderful base for families and friends alike, complete with a good-size rear garden, ample parking, and a garage, for storing your surfboards and beach toys.

A sunny balcony is an idyllic spot for a morning coffee and perfect for checking the sea and weather conditions, whilst Little Belz benefits from an attractive lounge on the first floor, where you can even enjoy the vistas on cooler days.

Downstairs is a lovely, practical kitchen with dining area, where you can prepare meals and gather, whilst the rear garden benefits from a large, decked area, perfect for alfresco dining as the sun sets.

Three bedrooms are on offer, including a king-size with an en-suite, and two twins, one also benefitting from an en-suite, whilst an additional bathroom and cloakroom offer convenience.

Polzeath is a wonderful location for your holiday; be it for surfers, beach combers or walkers.

The glorious coastal paths can take you to the gentle, calm waters of Daymer Bay and on towards Rock, with its sailing hub of the Camel Estuary.

Alternately you can head high up towards the National Trust reserves of Pentire point and the Rumps, looking out for those wonderful words from the war poet Laurence Binyon, where in 1914 he wrote ‘For the Fallen’.

Sightings of cormorants, gannets, and seals are common and the lucky few may spot a porpoise or dolphin.

POLZEATH

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
