The overall high quality of the accommodation was further complimented by the patio and seating areas, which were much appreciated on sunny days. We would definitely love to return! It is luxurious with some lovely attention to detail. Bedroom blinds that are operated at the touch of a button, a kitchenette in the sitting room for making drinks as well as a lovely kitchen downstairs for producing meals, are some pleasing features. The overall feeling is one of space. The sofas are comfortable as is the large bed. It was pristine in decoration and cleanliness. Lovely treats were left by the host, Marisa and nothing was too much trouble! Marisa is a great host and contributed enormously to us two enjoying our stay as we knew if we had any problems, she was there and very willing to help! We are a couple in our seventies and pretty active, but it was still reassuring that Marisa was next door should we need to ask her anything! The Crest is situated in Helston, placing you well for visiting all the local sights for this part of Cornwall. If you haven’t already gathered from my comments so far, I highly recommend The Crest both for the accommodation and situation. If I could give it ten stars. I would ! If you can’t book this year, it’s worth putting on your list for next as I know it’s pretty booked up!!

We were impressed with how Marisa and Alan kept in touch with us both before and during our stay. Very accurate directions and holiday advice (things to do) provided prior to leaving. Nice touch Upon arrival we were greeted with a beautiful welcome of flowers, prosecco, chocolates and biscuits. What a wonderful gesture and most thoughtful. A great start to our stay The Crest is full of wonderful modern features including the heating system and an amazing huge shower. So good we wanted to bring it home. A beautiful well equipped and furnished kitchen that we loved and felt most at home in. More modern electronic touches in the living room.
