St Breward is a small village set amongst beautiful countryside in Cornwall, about 7 miles from Bodmin. The village offers all the amenities you will require during your stay with a shop, village hall, church, two playgrounds and a pub. A footpath in the village creates a nice circular loop past the holy well, the church and across the River Camel. On the edge of the town of Bodmin is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail, which was built from granite excavated from this very quarry back in 1840. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out.
