Everything is a very high standard. Enjoyed the location and really friendly in the local pub. Great location for exploring but lovely beaches on your doorstep. The garden is nice and perfect if you have a dog as really secure. Very enjoyable break. Reviewed by SharonFeb 2022 "The best cottage we have ever stayed in!" Warm, comfortable, so well equipped. Spotlessly clean and well maintained, nothing was lacking. Great location, walking distance to the beach and the local pub - which we can recommend! And so many great beaches and cliff walks just a short drive away. We’ve booked for next year! Reviewed by PenelopeJan 2022 "This bungalow is a 5 star property in a great location, with the Treguth Inn with in easy walking distance and a fantastic beach just a little bit further, its just great." Being so close to the costal path there's miles to walk or just rest up on the beach, its up to you. Your return walk back is uphill quite steep in places but the walk saves you the parking fees £10 a day, so yes worth the walk. We did have a problem when we arrived as the property needed cleaning which my wife did [against my wishes, as I was going to ask the owner to come and do it], There was finger nails on the table near the Ipod player, and black mould in the walk in shower, dog hair on the bed spread. After running the hover round it needed emptying, so that hadn't been used recently. Giving the recently covid conditions Id expected better So in hindsight yes a great property in a fantastic location but needs some TLC and a good clean weekly I am so sorry the cleaner and management company didn't clean the property properly. This hasn't happened before. We have spoken to ensure this never happens again. We will speak to Sykes as all guests are not allowed dogs in bedrooms. We will ensure this also doesn't happen again and if it does the cleaner is to report it to me, Management Company and Sykes to get it rectified asap. Unfortunately most coastal areas in Cornwall are hilly and walks to the beaches involve a small hill.nd wa The Owner. Everything you could think of was there.... beautifully decorated. Spacious too just wish we could have enjoyed the large enclosed garden more but it was too cold. Friendly neighbourhood. Would love to return. Reviewed by EmmaMar 2020 "They say first impressions count and Hollywell Bay View certainly lived up to the pictures and the description." The property was much bigger than we expected with 3 bathrooms in total one for each bedroom. The property is furnished to a high standard and was very clean and presentable. The garden was large with 3 seating areas, all potential sun traps and plenty of room for the dog to run around. The only downside, was that there was no space in any of the kitchen cupboards to put any cereals, tins etc, it all had to be left out on the work top. Fortunately there was only the two of us and the dog, for larger groups this would a potential problem in our opinion. We would certainly book again, and hope that future users will treat it with respect, so that it continues to impress. Nice welcome pack for both dog and humans, in the form of dog treats and scones jam and cream. Very helpful gardener/neighbour. Also good phone support from Lisa at Beaches Property Services. Unfortunately, the outside light next to the key safe is permanently turned off, so a torch or mobile phone light is needed late at night to help with key safe access.
