• "The property is lovely and in a great location, however I experienced some issues and had a complete runaround with support and left in limbo."

  This has been reported to Sykes and awaiting their response. The property unknown to myself nor stated in the listing has underfloor heating. Despite turning off all the thermostats, having the air con on 24/7, sleeping with the door open, moving bedrooms, I felt I was sleeping in a hot tub. Having disturbed sleep for my duration wasn’t great. The lounge TV was intermittent with a weak/no signal. Reported to reception as advised and then to Sykes. Tried resetting it but was temporary. A basic amenity that should work properly. The bath wouldn’t fill. Feel the leisure facilities times should be advised in the lodge folder, opening at 8.30 and closing entry at 5.15 materially restricts when guests can use them. Not an issue with the lodge but there were no signs indicating the location of the indoor facilities and restaurant. The map wasn’t clear nor to scale, even some of the staff when asked didn’t know. I loved the hot tub outside your bedroom to dip in. Overall all you need for a luxury break just in need of some tweeks.

These are managed by Gwel An Mor rather than ourselves, and opening times can change, so we’re not able to provide fixed times in the lodge. Reception can be contacted directly from the lodge for the latest opening times, and they can also help with bookings for the leisure facilities, spa, restaurant and other activities. That said, your feedback has prompted us to make the information in our lodge folder clearer, including how to contact reception and where to find the latest information about the facilities and activities available on site.   From the moment we arrived, the home welcomed us with its impeccable design, high-end finishes, and an atmosphere of serene luxury. The open, elegant spaces were perfect for our group, offering both vibrant gathering areas and quiet, plush retreats in the bedrooms. The interior amenities alone would make for a five-star stay. The spectacular indoor swimming pool is a masterpiece—a private, climate-controlled oasis where we swam in tranquility at any hour. Adjacent to it, the hot tub was the ideal place to melt away any lingering stress. Evenings were defined by the incredible wood-burning fireplace. The crackle of the flames, the warmth, and the sublime scent of burning wood created a cozy, authentic heart for the home. Yet, this property’s genius is how it blends this indoor luxury with its breathtaking natural setting. The panoramic sea views from the main living areas and terrace are simply mesmerizing. Waking up to that ever-changing canvas of water and sky was a daily gift. Furthermore, the direct access to the seaside walking path was the cherry on top. Our morning strolls along the coast, with the fresh sea air and the sound of waves, were invigorating and peaceful, seamlessly extending the luxury experience into the natural world. What truly sets this property apart is the flawless attention to detail. Everything was considered—from the gourmet kitchen and sumptuous linens to the seamless technology and pristine cleanliness. It is a rare find where the reality not only matches but profoundly exceeds expectation. This is more than a rental; it’s a destination that caters to every desire: indulgence, relaxation, adventure, and awe. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful hosts for their perfect hospitality and for curating such a special haven. We departed rejuvenated and already dreaming of our return. An absolute, unequivocal 10/10 experience.

• "Very good. Bath did not fill"

  Thank you for you lovely review I’m sorry to hear the bath wouldn’t fill. If you’d contacted our housekeeper, our handyman would have attended to this. I’m down this weekend to do some repairs to our other lodge (Dahlia) before it is let again, and will ask him to look at this too. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. • "We have just had a wonderful week staying at Hepworth."

  Lovely light clean lodge. A couple of small queries/issues but these were sorted straightaway with no problems. Susan is very quick to reply to any questions and very helpful. Thank you for helping to making our holiday a great one.

• "Lovely lodge, a few niggles at the start, no remote for bathroom tv, soon rectified."

  Would be useful to have map of site in the lodge and also menu for The Terrace. We did Google this but it would be nice to have this in the lodge. The sound from the tv in the bathroom was hit and miss, but it was wonderful to have a soak with the tennis on. Overall a lovely quiet site not overlooked and a good location to base your holiday.

There should have been a site map in the folder, thanks for bringing it to my attention, and I’ll ask our housekeeper to replace it, and add the current Terrace menu. Both should also be on the TV info pages, but I appreciate that this isn’t easy to find as I too rarely use it. And will ask someone to look at the tv speakers. Were there any other issues? As I would be keen to rectify them too, and do appreciate you bringing them to my attention. Edit- we found the missing bath tv remote! It had been moved to under the living room tv. Now labelled and back in place in the bathroom in it’s holder, but our housekeeper always has a spare incase it happens again ;) Many thanks. Property Owner
