  • "Little Prickle is a beautiful cosy little cottage for 2 people We were welcomed by a beautiful cream tea for two, along with a box of clotted cream fudge and a Cornwall tea towel and a welcome card from the lovely owners !"

! Everything in the cottage was of very good quality and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful In a good location to get to many of the attractions in Cornwall An excellent stay, we thoroughly enjoyed staying here

  • "The property has been modernised and is immaculate with ample parking."

There was no windows only a sky light in the living room which felt claustrophobic. I Would suggest that they fit a blackout blind in the bedroom as there is currently only unlined curtains which make the room very light early in the morning. There was a lovely sitting area in the garden which was very private and when we arrived the owner had left milk, tea bags and coffee along with a box of fudge and a cream tea which was a lovely gesture.

Thank you so much for the review. We will take on board your suggestion, thank you :) Property Owner

  • "We loved our stay wonderful place a couple of things, that would help."

The bathroom light switch if it could be turned on from inside the bathroom that would save disturbing your wife at night. The bed we found disappointing a bit small and a soft materes a new bed would really lift the property. A soap tray in the shower cubical. But overall we loved it and will be back.

Perfectly located for touring round and only a couple of miles from Newquay, also the local pub ‘The Two Clomes’ was excellent if staying local.

On our arrival we were met by the owner who wished us a happy week. On entering the cottage a gift of a couple of cream teas and a box of Cornish fudge awaited us. What a lovely touch. The cottage was compact and bijou but certainly not cramped. It was spotless, well decorated and fitted out to a high standard. All in all we enjoyed a lovely week, made all the better by Little Prickle being our base.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Little Prickle."

Dave and Andrea were very welcoming, with a little gift of cream teas and Cornish fudge, a lovely little touch. The property, private garden area and parking facilities were superb. As my husband is slightly disabled this property gave us a very secure feeling as everything is on one level. The decor, furnishings were A1. We would highly recommend this cottage. The area was ideal. In the village of Quentrill Downs there was free parking in the village hall car park, a local Spar shop and a bus stop next door. Ideal if you are of the older generation with a free bus pass, and do not want to worry about driving at busy holiday times and not having to think about car parking in nearby towns.
