  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Tresooth Cottages, in 'St Keverne'."

The cottage was perfect. Clean and very comfortable beds. Hot tub was fabulous. Although we were out of season, we could still use the sauna. My daughter really enjoyed the games room and play area, particularly the trampoline. We really appreciated the area to walk our dog too. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Sharon. We're pleased you had an enjoyable family stay at Tresooth Cottages and hope you will choose us next time you come to Cornwall. Property Owner

  • "We were really pleased with the whole experience, everything was covered."

Even the little extras for the dogs was a lovely touch. We only had one issue but didn’t at all effect our stay and that was the rug in the living area smelt of urine so we just rolled it up and put it out the way during our stay. We would love to return and stay again in the future and have already recommended to friends and family.

Thanks for staying with us Tracy. We noted your comments at the time and replaced the rug. We hope you will choose Tresooth for a holiday again in the future. Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the property very much."

The man who looked after the Jacuzzi was extremely helpful and very approachable if I needed any help or advice. My son enjoyed the outdoor pool and we all liked the little play area for children and handy to walk my dog in while my son was on the trampoline. The bathroom handle was loose and the toilet made a slight noise but other than everything was perfect.

Thank you Christianne - I'll pass on your kind words to John and Terry who do the hot tubs! And thank you for raising about the bathroom handle and toilet seat.. we'll get them looked in to! Izi Property Owner

  • "Very clean, even more pretty than in the pictures."

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hot tub was kept clean throughout our stay. Liked the games room too. We love cooking and the kitchen had all almost everything we needed. Would have liked it if there was a hand blender as well. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

  • "Initially when we arrived we were taken back by how lovely the environment and the area of the cottage was in."

However it then came to light that you were not allowed to leave your pets in the cottage unattended, which was not on the listing (had it of been we would have booked elsewhere) We found the whole experience intrusive with the lack of privacy and the handyman/ owners mate (so he says) interpreting our stay most days. The property gives a feel that it is being run like a hotel and that is not what we were looking for. On the 3rd Night another party arrived to stay in the adjacent cottage and that was the straw that broke the camels back, they where in the rear of their cottage in the early hours shouting laughing and very drunk, waking us up at 0300am and not going quite until gone 0530am. This made us realise how close the other property’s were to us and again this was not mentioned in the listing. We left earlier because we could not stay there anymore because of the fore mentioned issues. All I can say if you want a nice place to stay that’s a slightly nicer environment than Butlin’s then book here your love it. I will not be going back.

Our booking conditions state that pets are not to be left alone in any of the properties across the Sykes portfolio, we are sorry if you missed this. We have taken time to ensure the description state that the property is within a complex of 15 other dwellings with shared facilities throughout, several of the photographs do show other buildings in close proximity, we will of course revisit this to see if we can make it any clearer.
