"A lovely quirky and cosy and comfortable hideaway."
A sheltered area outside to relax in and have fun spotting the many unusual objects dotted around the garden area.
A great location too, very close to the sandy beach and right next door to the old church of St Just which is now a Chapel of Ease it's open daily and well worth a look inside.
Thank you.

"We absolutely loved the cabin."
It’s a very cool little place, with its weatherboard walls and quirky, eclectic artefacts.
The location is brilliant: change into your wetsuit, walk to the sea in less than a minute, have a great swim and be back under the hot shower as soon as you like. It’s also perfectly situated for access to the coastal paths. The cafe, shop and chippy are great!
I must mention the views: the fourteenth century St Just church less than ten metres from the front door, the waves lapping on the beach to the left and the headland rising up at the back of the village. The cabin is in the centre of the village, on a beautiful, traditional Cornish street. The village is very much alive - there was as an art exhibition and an exhibition of historical photos of the village whilst we were there, offering fascinating insight into the lives of the local people.
Although there is no pub, as such, the local shop opens an alfresco bar on some evenings and there was live music there on the Friday night. Mermaid cafe sells the best packed lunches and a bottle of beer or cider, if you like.
Altogether a great place to stay. We had the best time.

Great to be able to sit in the garden and hear the sea. Very short walk to beach.

"The property location was absolutely fabulous."
The garden was well enclosed for our shepherd and very pleasant to spend time in. So long as you are not over fussy about accommodation the property can be quite pleasant. Where it fell down a little for me was the written explanation of rubbish removal. It was outdated and completely incorrect. We were asked to move our rubbish by other residents 3 times, then the old boy opposite explained the new collection dates which were completely in opposition to what was written! Overall a good holiday slightly marred by our last day rubbish removal attempts.

Well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. A treat to sit in the garden with a drink and listen to the sea. Host Steve was very helpful and friendly. Close to the beach, cliff path and the old village. Thank you.

"What you read on Sykes is what you get."
We liked it very much. A charming and individual place with a sea view
based central in the village. 100 meters to the beach, cafe, small supermarket or costal path.
There is central parking nearby (250m, 35£ per week).
If you are a very straight person who likes his garden in order and symmetry
you'll have to go somewhere else.
If you want an accomodation with atmosphere you should book.

"We absolutely loved our stay."
The cabin was perfect for us, really well equipped and comfortable. It was lovely to have a beautiful view of the sea from the garden and the cabin and to hear the sea in the evenings. The location is excellent with the beach (which our dog particularly loved) , shops and cafes all on the doorstep. We also enjoyed an evening drink at the outdoor bar that cakebreads run. This place has a lovely community feel and the cabin was wonderful, we will definitely be back!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Moonbeach Cabin."
It was well equipped and clean .The owner (Steve) was helpful and always available by text for any queries.
We made full use of the private comfy seating area for alfresco lunches.
The area has everything you need for a pleasant stay although the fish and chip shop only opens at the weekend now the season is over but the well stocked village shop and PO is open every day.
The Llawnroc Hotel served nice food, they also are open for morning coffee and is dog friendly it is only a few yards up the hill from Moonbeach.
Would definitely recommend Moonbeach and Gorran Haven and the surrounding area. There are lovely walks along the coast path or you can just sit and admire the view.
It is also worth knowing that there is a small bus that goes from the car park to the surrounding villages which also takes dogs.

"Gorran Haven is a hidden gem."
We had a lovely stay at Moonbeach Cabin. The Prosecco and doggy treats were a lovely touch thank you. Steve, the owner, recommended places to visit and eat which we really appreciated.. The photographs do not do the garden, views and outside seating area justice. The Cabin is ideally located for access to Gorran Haven, the beach and coastal path walks. We would highly recommend and intend on returning very soon.
Hope to see you all again, you would be very welcome . Steve.

"Smashing little cottage just a stones throw from the sea."
Bed was comfy and warm as weather was a bit dodgy. Kitchen well equipped. Lounge was comfortable and free view on TV came in handy for evening entertainment. Bathroom spacious, shower good n hot and proper thick bath sheets!. Little secure yard so doggo could be let outside without concerns for a mooch.
I did meet the owner x1 and was able to thank him in person for the welcoming bottle of Prosecco for me and treats for my hairy mate.
We got a parking for the week at the closely located car park for £35. I am glad we did as the traffic warden made an unexpected visit!.
Gorran Haven is a little gem and the beach is lovely, local shop is well stocked with baked goods and other foods including locally sourced veg, and the bar is very friendly.
Used the chip shop although they did only open from Wednesday to Saturday. That was great and portions very generous. And this week bar shut around 5pm, hot food was also available there during the day. Hours do extend as season gets busier.
Lovely guests,a pleasure to have them stay.

"Ideal for what I wanted as a single person with a dog visiting friends locally."
I do not think it is the cosy romantic hideaway described on the Sykes website. Location is great and this makes an ideal base eg for a walking holiday. A stable door or gate across the doorway would be useful. The kitchen is well equipped, particularly with a good sized fridge/freezer and plenty of hot water. The single biggest improvement would be a comfortable sofa to relax in - maybe a corner sofa - and a soft footstool.
In addition to the sofa there are also two ver comfortable reclining chairs

"The two of us had a great four night stay at The Moonbeach Cabin."
The location is excellent, really close to the sea. The accommodation had all we want for a holiday - comfortable bed and chairs, good lighting for reading in the sitting area, well equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom (with lovely thick towels). Steve, the owner was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. We would thoroughly recommend The Moonbeach Cabin.
Very nice people.
