  • "This was a lovely apartment in a quiet area."

It was very clean and roomy with a lovely comfortable bed. If you don’t want to use the car it is well situated for buses. Would highly recommend.

  • "Amazing location and a very nice apartment."

Everything you need for a trip to Cornwall. All the facilities we needed. It can get quite warm as it's top floor so a fan could be a good addition. Other than that it was perfect! Thanks for a great stay

Many thanks for your very kind words and we’re happy you enjoyed your stay. We have been considering a small AC unit recently and your suggestion is appreciated. Property Owner

  • "We were over the moon with the beautiful accommodation, it was very clean, tidy, very comfortable and finished to a very high standard."

There was plenty of available storage too. It is situated in a well maintained private estate with private off street parking as well. Bodmin is ideally situated to visit many places in Cornwall. The hosts kindly recommend great places to visit and eat. We also found ‘The welcome stranger’ in neighbouring Lanivet a fantastic fish and chip shop ! Would highly recommend staying at this apartment.

  • "The flat had been very thoughtfully renovated and refurbished."

We had a lovely week in Flat 4. The only thing I could not find in the kitchen was some way to make a fresh cup of coffee.

  • "The apartment is spacious and comfortable with ample storage space."

The parking area is good with room to manoeuvre larger cars. The staircase would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues; the details should make clear that there are 39 steep granite steps up to the living area (22 steps to the apartment door and a further 17 inside). The provision of kitchen utensils is rather sparse eg no can opener, slotted spoons, trays, roasting tin and a few more mugs would be handy. Usually in holiday lets there is a file giving details about bin collections, instructions for the heating system, TV, WIFI code, local services and amenities etc but there is no information folder currently at this property. We found the apartment got very warm on sunny days (lucky us!) and we would have preferred lighter weight bedding to be available. That said, we had a very enjoyable week and would certainly recommend the apartment to others.

  • "Anybody with mobility issues would have a problem with the property and should be made aware of this prior to booking."

Information on the property and instructions was limited but thus was due to covid. Owner did send info via email. Bodmin itself is limited in attractions but within a small area you can travel for good days out etc. Spec of accomadation was 1st class.

  • "Accommodation excellent , as mentioned in a previous review a super king or king size bed would have looked fab in such a big bedroom."

So easy to find ,very good location for getting out and about to both north and south coast of Cornwall.Bodmin a little lacking in atmosphere but we found a nice pub and an Indian restaurant about 10 mins walk from apartment. We had a lovely week staying there and would definitely recommend.

  • "Asking us to check in after 5pm on arrival day and check out before 9am on departure day is unacceptable."

We left at 10am in the end without any sign of cleaners. We calculated that with sufficient numbers of staff, the Apartment could be cleaned within 2 hours. A refund for making the above 2 days only part days would be appreciated. Cleaning of showers should have been better. Facilities that were missing included: A coffee machine Extra knives, forks and spoons to avoid the dishwasher being on after every meal, which would also avoid additional electricity costs and usage of additional dishwasher tablets. Dishwasher tablets should be provided. Milk, ice, bread, butter and orange juice should be provided for arrival day. Access to the mailbox. Additional hangers.

We were very surprised to see your feedback on our facilities especially as you had previously communicated to us that you thought the accommodation was very well appointed, spacious, with full facility provision and, above all, came with quality fixtures and furnishings throughout. The health and safety of our guests and housekeeping team is of paramount importance to us and is reflected in the changeover times (clearly stated on the Sykes website) which have been extended *during the pandemic* to allow for a full deep clean of the property. • "Beautiful accommodation."

Very light, clean and spacious. Lots of storage and the owner was quick to respond with queries. If there was one negative it is very minor but pack an eye mask - the white blinds are very bright in the morning.

  • "Absolutely loved this apartment!"

Didn't want to leave! Perfect location for exploring Cornwall, extremely clean, decorated/furnished to a very high standard, much bigger than expected & great communication from the owners. Will definitely be returning! Only negative (if you can call it that) is that we would have preferred a king-size bed in the main bedroom rather than a double, especially as its such a large room...but it was still extremely comfortable. See you again soon Apartment 4!

Lovingly-reviewed by travel website Trip Reporter, who enthusiastically praised the home's 'calm and serene aesthetic' whilst describing it as a 'perfectly turned-out apartment', Stores & Supplies is steeped with traditional character through its sloped ceilings, exposed wood beams and granite steps, with its own storage space and utility room located on the ground floor entrance.

Make your way up two flights of old granite stairs secured by a stairgate to find this incredibly contemporary space, home to two bedrooms, a family bathroom and open-plan living area.

Spend your evenings making full use of all the living area has to offer, rustle up a home-cooked meal in the kitchen with its state-of-the-art amenities and picturesque views out to Bodmin Moor, enjoying a quick meal on the breakfast bar, or enjoying a more formal family meal on the spacious wooden dining table, a fabulous spot to host an evening dinner party.

After dinner has been served, head towards the two large sofas in the lounge area, grabbing some snacks and settling down for an action-packed film night with a cosy blanket and refreshing glass of wine.

Retire to one of the stunning bedrooms after a tiring day of exploring Cornwall, choosing between an amazing double room benefiting from an en-suite shower room, or a twin room, both featuring Velux windows where you can stargaze in the night, offering a bright and airy feel to these chic rooms.

The twin room has full access to the sleek family bathroom, renovated to a high standard with a sumptuous bath and a overhead shower, letting you take your pick between a soothing soak or refreshing rinse.

Bodmin town centre is just a short walk away from the property, boasting fantastic amenities including a range of supermarkets, quaint bakeries, country pubs, and lovely cafés, as well as historic attractions such as the spooky old Bodmin Jail where you can take part in an evening ghost walk or discover their exhibitions.

Avid ramblers, cyclists and equestrians will love the opportunity to discover the famous Camel Trail, a scenic 18-mile route with links to Padstow and Wadebridge, there's also the chance to venture through Cardinham Woods with its choice of enchanting long walks to steep valley hikes, or Bodmin Moor with glorious surfing beaches and secret coves.

Don't miss the chance to spend a day out at the famous Eden Project, boasting thousands of rare plant species inside two amazing biomes which simulate a realistic rainforest experience and Mediterranean habitat.
