  • "A well presented property."

    Very clean and comfortable with added bonus of the little Balcony room!! Only downside is a lack of hand soap in upstairs bathroom and bin liners. Also in properties we have stayed in before there has been milk in the fridge on arrival and a little something to say welcome. This little touch makes the accommodation feel welcoming on arrival and for this reason the property felt to us more like a holiday let than others we have stayed in before. Other than that we had a lovely time at the property and enjoyed our 12th visit to Port Isaac!!

  • "Blue Horizon is a lovely, spacious property split over three floors."

    It has great views and the walk along the coast path into Port Isaac and Port Gaverne is breathtaking. The accomodation was spotless and well appointed and the electric car chargers in the adjacent public car park were a bonus. We had everything we needed for our family holiday in Cornwall and I'm sure we will be booking Blue Horizon again. Thank you.

  • "We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Port Isaac."

    The cottage was absolutely spotless and beautifully clean throughout, making it feel incredibly welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The highlight has to be the fantastic view — simply breathtaking! Waking up to such a stunning view of the coast was truly special, and we could have sat and admired it for hours. The cottage is beautifully maintained, cosy, and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The cleanliness really stood out, and the attention to detail was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Port Isaac and would highly recommend this gorgeous cottage. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • "This is a well maintained home over three floors, and had everything we needed, large towels, well equipped kitchen, multiple walk in showers, toilets, and a bath."

    All windows have Ventian Blinds to keep the high sun out, and double doors to a small but usable patio with large table and 8 chairs. It was in excellent decorative condition, and very clean. The view from the lounge over the water to Tintagel, was accessed via the triple folding windows. These were very welcome on the hottest days of the year so fa, allowing cooling airflow. It is three minutes slow walk to Nathan Outlaws Bistro (recommended, get there early to snag the only window table with a view). Its a 10 minute walk (max) down a steep hill in to Port Isaac slipway/beach. Multiple pubs and restaurants (pre-booking advised) in the village centre. Highly recommened !

  • "Interior of property spotless but windows all needed a good clean and outside area overgrown with weeds and outside table and chairs had obviously not been cleaned for months!"

  • "A fantastic apartment in a great location."

    The apartment was well appointed and clean with comfortable rooms and lots of space. We stayed over May half term when it was very earm weather and would have found a couple of fans a good idea for future stays. Whilst it was nice to have a small courtyard, the furniture was dirty and the weeds made it look unloved. A few small tweaks would make this even better.

  • "Lovely location, excellent local amenities!"

    We loved the Nathan Outlaw restaurants particularly the one at the end of the road. 'Fresh from the sea' lobster and crab sandwiches are also top notch. The local Co-Op's opening times of 7am until 10pm are so convenient. The electric car charging points in the car park below Castle Rock were fantastically convenient too. The only slight concern would be the heat of the tap water as it could scold an unwitting child. We would recommend turning the thermostat down a little.

  • "We had a fabulous stay, the house was immaculate, clean and tidy with lots of amenities within the house such as, washer/dryer, dishwasher, lots of kitchen utensils and cutlery."

    The beds were comfy, showers good pressure, balcony with a lovely sea view. We would highly recommend and definitely stay again. The only minor points would be; the doors which all slammed shut and with having a 10 month old it wasn’t ideal but we found a few door stops so it was fine. And there are no curtains in any of the bedrooms which isn’t great if you like a blacked out room at night.

  • "Our three week stay at Blue Horizon was completely enjoyable."

    The location of the property is excellent, just a short walk into the village or down to Port Gaverne. The home was clean, the furniture comfortable. The views were spectacular. The private car park space was very convenient. My only very minor critic would be that there was not broom/dust mop available, carrying the heavy/large hoover up and down three floors was inconvenient. Also, it would be nice to provide a couple of extra trash bags. A mixer in the kitchen would be nice as well. Look forward to returning next year.

  • "Blue Horizon was just as described, spotless, well equipped a real home from home."

  • "Lovely place fantastic views First impressions looking at grubby cobwebs front door mat and area ."

    Wardrobe in downstairs back room was being used to store hoover !!! Bathroom no where to put anything . Upstairs wow the views brill . Cooker hood filter were greasy and smelly we washed before using but kitchen very well equipped. Filters in dish washer we had to clean No usb plugs anywhere Silly little things that would make such a difference

    Hello Mrs Coombes. Thankyou for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear about your concerns. We use the agent's fully managed services and this includes using their professional cleaner's. I understand that their contact details are left at the premises and their office is only a few hundred metres from our house. I would have hoped they would have dealt with the cleaning with an immediate response, if contacted. I will be contacting them myself to discuss the cleaning issues. Unfortunately, we are limited with storage and the hoover is our personal one, left for occupants in case of accidents during the holiday. The main bathroom, along with the other 3 shower rooms,cannot be reconfigured in any other way, and any furniture for storage would make the rooms feel very cramped. The level surfaces, found within the main bathroom and each ensuite seem to have worked for occupiers previously. However, we will review the situation again based on your feedback. PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions, including the beautiful Lundy Bay, known for being the filming location of the hugely popular Doc Martin series. You may be lucky enough to see the infamous Fisherman's Friends performing on the Platt during the summer months singing traditional shanties. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
