  • "Lovely cottage in a quiet area."

Perfect base for exploring the area and after a long day a comfortable bed awaits. Every detail has been thought about and a much needed welcome pack is waiting. Nothing is too much for Gary if you have any queries. Would definitely recommend this cottage!

  • "Lovely cottage well equipped."

Only downside was uncomfortable bed. Outside area was beyond our expectations.

Thank you for your feedback I am surprised you found the bed uncomfortable we have only ever had favourable comments about the beds. When we purchased the cottage we never intended to let it and anything in the cottage are items we would want to live with but as they say on the bed adverts beds are a personal choice. I am pleased you liked the garden again full of plants I have collected over many years. Many thanks Gary Property Owner

  • "A very comfortable stay at the cottage, which had everything we needed."

The cottage was very clean and welcoming and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The village was quiet just as we liked and we only used our car once. We used the local bus services which were very convenient and allowed us to do long linear walks. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Thank you for your feedback. What can I say if my language skills were as good as yours this could have been written by me. Hope you have time to stay again many thanks Gary Property Owner

  • "We loved staying in 2 The Cottages."

It is a comfortable and cosy little house in a very peaceful location. The St Michael's Way walk literally passes the front door which gives very easy access to beautiful countryside. Penzance is within easy reach as is the beach at Long Rock / Marazion. I would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet holiday.

Hi Anita Really pleased that you loved our cottage and had a good holiday. We do a lot of walking and cycling and as you say it is ideally located for Marazion, Penzance, Longrock as well as Mousehole, Newlyn, St Ives, etc. Hope you enjoyed sitting in the garden which seems to be the warmest place in Cornwall. Hope to see you again and thanks for the lovely feedback. Gary Property Owner

  • "The cottage was comfortable, just the right size for the two of us."

The welcome tray was a lovely touch - plus milk in the fridge. Lots of information provided about the cottage and the area. We tend to stick around Penwith so the location was great. Thanks for a great stay.

  • "We had a lovely stay in the property and it is ideally situated."

The property was cosy, very clean and well equipped. The rear garden was delightful. It was just a shame we didn’t get to use it as the weather was not very kind to us. The only down side to the property was that it was a bit on the small side for us.

  • "The cottage is, as expected, small therefore it does cause some minor problems."

Access to the food storage cupboard in the kitchen is difficult. A folding hinged door would be very helpful. The table under the stairs does need to be moved when using to eat as again very little space. There is very little room in the main bedroom which makes dressing or drying hair a bit awkward. Access to wardrobe area in second bedroom is also difficult. None of these issues spoilt our stay but they were a little troublesome. I understand it is the nature of small Cornish cottages. Our stay was howeververy comfortable and enjoyable.

  • "The cottage is so homely and comfortable, with everything you need to enjoy your holiday."

The garden at the rear was a real sun trap and you could see St Michaels Mount, there was even a brand new BBQ. The cottage is in a great location with a wonderful pub about 2 minutes walk away and Penzance, St Ives, Marazion and lots of other places to explore near by.

  • "Lovely cottage in a quiet location."

We liked the way the cottage was decorated. It had a nice, bright interior and we felt at home as soon as we walked in. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The garden was very interesting and a lovely sunny spot to sit in the afternoon. The sea view from the top of the garden was a bonus. An ideal location to explore a large part of cornwall.

Lovingly restored to preserve its original charm, there's masses of character and wooden floors downstairs.

There's a cosy sitting room with an open fireplace and an electric wood burning stove for instant heat.

There is also a neat dining area.

On the first floor are two bedrooms, a double and an adult sized bunk room.

They share a family bathroom.

Outside, the terraced garden sits over two levels and has shrubs, a patio with picnic table and beautiful far-reaching views to St Michaels Mount and Mounts Bay.

Ideal for exploring some of Cornwall's most popular towns.

A 2 minute drive or a 20 minute walk along a footpath takes you to beautiful Marazion beach, to swim, paddle or stroll along the seafront promenade.

Take in the beautiful views of the bay and St Michaels Mount at Penzance or visit the National Trust gardens of Trengwainton and pretty harbour village of Mousehole.
