The accommodation was very nice and the site it was on was very pretty and well maintained It had all the amenities you needed although there weren’t enough bins/boxes for you to separate your recycling Would recommend tranquility as a base for exploring south Cornwall

“Tranquility “ definitely lived up to its name … we met Denise(the owner) on the day we arrived and she was absolutely lovely and gave us lots of suggestions on local beach walks and places to eat .

Tranquility at Pendra Loweth is a really lovely, clean and comfortable place to stay.

Everything you need for a break is there, including a very welcome cream tea on arrival, and fresh flowers in the rooms. Very tastefully decorated and comfortable beds and sofa. A bonus for us is the enclosed patio for our dog (who immediately felt comfortable!). Lovely walks on the doorstep and beautiful scenery and coast a short trip. Definately recommend.

We had a really relaxing time.

The accommodation was warm, beautifully furnished and functional. Swanpool beach was really close, cool cafe bar and great dog walks. I would love to stay there again.

Lovely property, had everything we needed for the stay.

Very clean and tidy and would book this property again. Situated in a lovely area and was handy to have information on the local area.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Tranquility, which was well equipped, stylish and spotlessly clean.

There were a lot of welcome touches when we arrived such as mince pies, clotted cream, milk, prosecco and even treats for our dog, which were all much appreciated. The owner, Denise made contact with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and we felt that if we had had a problem, it would have been rectified quickly. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again. We would like to go back in the summer when more things are open on site.

Tranquility is, as others have said, definitely a home from home.

The house is very comfortable, clean and well- maintained and all the fixtures and fittings of very good quality. Thank you to the owners for thoughtfully supplying milk and local shortbread biscuits. The parking is perfect, very close to the house, and the little patio is nice. The whole surroundings, with their very nicely maintained gardens, are excellent and the situation couldn’t be better, quiet but easy access to Falmouth and lovely beaches.

Picture looked like a cottage on its own, also the facilities for food were not open in the week, dissapointed.

Tranquility really is a home from home.

Extremely comfortable and very well kept. Everything was clean and replenished when we arrived even down to a bottle of cold water in the fridge with jam and cream for scones. The kitchen was well supplied with crockery and utensils. Hand soap and dish soap available in kitchen and both bathrooms had soap too. We really enjoyed our stay. Pendra Loweth is a calm peaceful site and lots of green open space for dog walks. The back garden was also closed in do our Jack Russell could wander in and out without escaping. Excellent place to stay

We had a lovely short break at Tranquility and immediately felt relaxed and at home.

The personal touches of fresh flowers and cream tea made our welcome even nicer. The property is well situated in a quite spot and the enclosed patio area was a real bonus. All nicely decorated, clean, tidy and well equipped. We've stayed at a few properties at Pendra Loweth, but Tranquility has been the best.

Having decided to treat the in-laws to a few nights away on the beautiful Cornish coast alongside our 8 month old, Tranquility offered everything we could have hoped for and more to have the best off season break!

Ideally situated a few minutes drive from Falmouth we made the most of exploring local historic locations in the castles, the maritime museum (added bonus that Pirates was the current exhibition!), and took full advantage of the superb food options Falmouth offers. We even managed a short trip to St Austell and the Lost Gardens of Heligan during our mini break. The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable, lots of extras such as reading material and board games, and we loved the touch of local scones and condiments awaiting us on arrival - very thoughtful! Overall we loved our stay and would happily return in the future and recommend friend and families to the property.

Tranquility cottage was more than we could have imagined.

We had such a lovely stay. Everything you possibly needed was provided and the host was contactable should we have any problems. Cottage was so homely and a lovely atmosphere. Ideal for families and pets. My dog loved it too. Would highly recommend this property and would love to come back.

Our stay at Tranquility was excellent everything you needed it was one of the best cottages I have stayed in and having our own private garden was the cherry on the cake As far as the park and gardens first class My only negatives there was no proper signed re the bridle paths and to get a bus we had to take a long walk at least 40 minutes and we were led to believe there was a bus stop right outside the entrance

The property was a delight as was the cream tea and flowers left for us on our arrival.

We were provided with everything we needed for a enjoyable holiday including the weather. The property and the site were colourful and well maintained. Would have liked to have stayed longer but hope to return again soon.

Nice cottage.

Liked that the patio was private, helps when you have a dog. I did feel the cottage was a bit dark with all the grey paint. The cottage and patio did seem a bit cluttered. The shower needs looking at as takes ages to get hot then literally burns you. Did like the grab handle in the bathroom

5 star accommodation, beautiful setting,all you could need for a relaxing holiday

Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our holiday, the cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed and was lovely and clean, and the location of Pendra Loweth is lovely.

Would definitely recommend and will be using the same place when we come back.

Lovely property in a great location, *Tranquility* is tranquil.

Well equipped & a comfortable stay with everything you think you need plus the bonus of an air fryer. The Joyfuel Cafe Bar & Shop on site is highly recommended, friendly staff & great service. The location of Maen Valley Park is perfect, with extremely well kept gardens & we were amused by the many robotic lawnmowers. We had an enjoyable weeks stay, with plenty of lovely walks straight from the property. We visited (walked to) Swanpool, Gyllyngvase & Maenporth beaches & Falmouth. Further afield visits to Porthleven, Pendennis Point & Castle, St. Ives, Helford Passage, The Lizard & one final visit back to Falmouth. A final thank you to Denise for the friendly welcome & the Cornish Cream Tea, which was lovely. It was also nice to know she was a phone call away should we need anything. We will definitely be recommending this property & location to family & friends.

Lovely area and so quiet by steam ,super comfortable bed and soft pillows lots of light and windows to open ,superb amounts of dish glasses and cooking pots .

So near to beaches and eating places.

It’s a lovely location.

The park is very well landscaped with attractive planting. The grounds are well maintained. We thought that the cupboards in the kitchen were a bit cluttered as was the coffee table in the lounge with too many leaflets but the cottage was nicely decorated and clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay and everything was good !

The cottage is nicely situated just outside Falmouth which enables easy access to others areas and attractions nearby.. very nice ..

A short drive into Falmouth and very close to the Uni Campus so ideal for our stay. Very cosy, clean and extremely comfortable.

Quiet, comfortable and close to beaches, Falmouth and easy to access other areas of Cornwall

This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in, the grounds that it is in are really lovely, close to 3 beaches and his a 15 min drive to falmouth

Simply perfect, so surprised how clean and tidy it was, and how many appliances there were, you didn't have to take anything with you it was all there.

So many little things to, salt pepper etc things you wouldn't buy yourself was already there, fresh milk, scones and jam waiting for you on arrival. We had terrific time in Tranquility, and Cornwall.

Tranqulty house was lovely, and made a great base for the holiday, unfortunately the site facilities were very lacking.

We were out most days but usually got home around 8-9 and thought it would be nice to end the day up at the bar to play pool , and have a drink on the terrace. And maybe meet other people on the site. On the Tuesday we decided to have a day at the site and use tranquility garden to relax. The bar reception was not open until the evening despite advertising everywhere shop open , bar take away breakfast etc. Jacuzzi and sauna was not open, being fitted that week , we found out u can use the splash pool by a code, we were told bar was franchised out , we were told it hadn't opened Sunday night as staff had covid so no one to run it. *We ordered take away on that Tuesday and when asked for salt sachet to go on chips, we were told they didn't have any, but we could buy a bottle off salt instead from the shop.! We had salt bk at the house but that seemed an insult. *It advertised quiz nights , when we enquired the bar manager said we don't do them as no one shows up? Again why advertise it then. ? *We enquired about breakfast, bar man told us the chef had quit the week before so no breakfast. Again tk the advert away!! I would tk tranquility house and place on another site I would, surrounding area and local info provided by tranquility owners was great, such a shame that to end the day , u had the bk garden or a very lack lustre bar with no atmosphere , infact we felt by just going in to get a drink we were causing inconvenience.... We booked the holiday not just for the cottage but the facilities it mentioned on site. ...!

This is a lovely cottage in a nice area with beautiful gardens all around.

The property was very nicely laid out, a holiday home with a homely feel.

It was lovely to arrive to a cream tea waiting, made the long journey there end well and the holiday start. Instructions were good and literature around to help plan your visit to various locations. All in all a lovely place in a lovely location

We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay at Tranquility.

Very clean and well equipped, except could do with a middle sized saucepan. We enjoyed walking to Falmouth via the coastal path, although disappointed much of it was by road. The cream tea and strawberries were much appreciated

We had a great week at the Tranquility and would like to thank Denise for the effort that she's put in to make us feel accommodated and welcomed.

The cottage is in great condition, the surroundings are fantastic and only 10min away from Falmouth town centre or the shops. The internet connection is fast and reliable. TV is very decent with plenty of DVDs if the weather is not good enough for a day out. I would thoroughly recommend it. The only minor suggestion is to provide more quantity of basic items such as toiletries and kitchen items (salt, cooking oil, coffee, etc). Overall it's easy to replenish by the holidaymakers themselves as the shops are so convenient to get to.

Tranquillity is the perfect name.

Loved our stay, it really felt like home. Very quiet in the holiday village as it was out of season and the on site facilities were closed, but no problem for us. Close to Swanpool and Falmouth, great location. Only negative was the hot water was extremely hot and caught us out a couple of times, so be careful. Fully intend to go back to Tranquillity next time we are visiting the area

The property was great!

We stayed during the festive period and would say that it was made lovely and cosy for us as a special treat!!! We were even given prosecco and scones on arrival, which was unexpected. We had other friends staying in pendra loweth and our property was by far the most looked after and homely. The only few things to say are, we were only given 2 loo rolls for a 3 night stay and the twin room is extremely small. One twin bed also did not have bedding, which felt a bit odd and not very cosy. But other than that fantastic place to stay! Would definetly recommend for 2, but some may think 4 adults may be pushing it! I will hopefully be staying again!

Cottage owner went above and beyond to create a wonderful stay.

The house was decorated for Xmas, lots of goodies supplied and she even left a bottle of prosecco and a card.

We've really enjoyed staying at this property.

It was such a lovely surprise to arrive after our very long journey to the cheerful lights of a Christmas tree :) Overall the place was comfortable, cozy and stylish and gave us the space to relax. The kitchen was well equipped which I appreciated especially as I was cooking a lot when we had to spend several days in quarantine waiting on Day 2 results! Sadly our pet couldn't travel with us but it's good to know for future reference. We were glad to meet the owner who was friendly and welcoming. When we had to delay the move into our home, we were glad to have the chance to extend our stay for a few more days. Perfect location for exploring Falmouth and surrounding areas,clean and tidy well presented

We wanted a relaxing holiday and staying in Tranquility cottage on the Pendra Loweth site was perfect. We perticularly liked the enclosed garden which we sat out in the evening. I would definitely recommend staying in Tranquility cottage and the Pendra Loweth site this is our second visit and we will be returning again.

Such a gorgeous cottage!

We stayed for 2 weeks with 2 young kids. Easy to get in with the key code. Had everything you might need in the kitchen. Decor was lovely throughout. Very clean, lots of spare cleaning things if needed. Outdoor space great and felt private, with lots of space for kids to run around next to the cottage and then up at the playground. We ate a few times at the restaurant and had take out too, decent range and price. It's such a good location too, 5mins drive to Swan Pool beach or Maenporth, 10 mins into the centre of Falmouth, or up to Helford Passage for water activities. When we were there the pool wasn't open, looked small and deep so probably wouldn't have used it with young kids anyway. Owner was lovely, gave good suggestions of activities, and helped out without any hassle when we needed a bed sheet change. Other owners staying on site were really friendly, helping us out when our car battery ran flat! And the cornish cream tea waiting for us on arrival was wonderful!

The upstairs bathroom door doesnt close properly.

Have just returned from a brilliant stay at Tranquility.

The cottage is top notch, very comforatable, clean and tastefully decorated to a high standard ,and in an idilic location.Denise the owner provided a welcome pack of Scones, Cornish butter and Clotted Cream, and jam, along with some milk and a very nice cob bread, truely outstanding, also gave us a call to see if we were happy and comfortable and if there was anything she could do, outstanding service we felt. Would we return, Yes most definitely ! Highly recommended. We would also like to thank the staff at Sykes, whom once again were excellent and helpful as usual. Best wishes Jeremy and Carole.

Lovely cottage on a nice holiday park.

Arrived to find scones, jam, cream and cake which was a lovely touch. House was nicely decorated and made to feel very homely. Extensive welcome pack with days out and ideas in it. Phone call from Denise on the second day to check everything was ok. Good kitchen area bonus of a downstairs toilet. Back yard enclosed which was good for the dog. Beds comfortable. Great location to explore Cornwall. Kids had a great time on the beach and so did the dog. Would definitely return in the future.

Cottage and location

Nice place, VERY CLEAN.

Had a problem with the shower that the owner replaced that day. Only issue is access to the site down a really small country lane. Bit of a pain Disappointed that site facilities were shut (pool etc) surely with more imagination they could have worked out some type of rota/booking system. Bar area good on site but lacks atmosphere (perhaps not surprising in these times) Tranquility as a base for exploring southern Cornwall very good-Would recommend the property

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, it definitely lives up to its name! Location is great, with easy access to local beaches and Falmouth / Truro. We especially liked Maenporth beach and the girls enjoyed swimming in the caves. Local pub the Trelowarren Arms was very friendly and food tasty / reasonable. The cream tea on arrival was a great touch and the owner came to see that all was ok. We would definitely stay here again!

I very much enjoyed the peaceful setting of the cottage, was delighted to find it clean and well set up and appreciated the call from the owner to check all was fine.

The items - bread, milk, shortbread - were very welcome after the long journey! I had intended to re-book it if it was available for this coming July but graduation is being rescheduled in light of COVID-19. Once we know when that will be I will be looking to see if it’s available! Many thanks.

Amazing cottage that felt like it had a lot of love poured into it!

Everything was great - all essentials were provided (even nice food!). Only negative we can think of is that the main bed was only the smaller side and a little too firm for our liking (still good though!). The internet isn't terribly great, but that's to be expected too (might actually be a blessing!). Overall, we felt tremendously comfortable and it was a great location :)

We were left a lovely welcome pack and fresh flowers in vases which was really kind.

There was also a folder with lots of information on places to go and beaches that would accept dogs which was helpful. Will definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Tranquility Cottage lives up to its name.

Situated in a sheltered valley by a small stream. Surrounded by colourful flowers, Birds, Rabbits and Squirrels it was TRANQUILITY.

Superb facilities lovely surroundings a great meal in the site restaurant.

The gardens are so well kept. The staff were so helpful. We will definitely be coming back. I will always recommend Sykes the staff always so helpful. Bernie and Thelma Plain and Linda Demetriades.

You changed the key code whilst we were in transit meaning we could not access the cottage.

This caused many problems as we were not given any phone numbers on your documentation to enable us to contact you or the owner in able to resolve problem. The problems caused my wife who is elderly with has a weak heart, pacemaker and other medical problems to feel ill because of the stress caused us. The cottage itself was fine but Sykes service was abysmal for the above reason. A letter of protest giving fuller details has been sent to Sykes management. A J Phelps

Lovely house - my only comment was the bedding in the 2nd bedroom - there were no duvets - just blankets which we found a bit odd?

Tranquility Cottage lives up to its name, set in a beautiful quiet village close to two lovely beaches and the vibrant town of Falmouth.

We loved waking up to birdsong each morning and the sound of the stream babbling at the front of the house. Everything in the cottage was beautifully styled and carefully thought about. Loved everything!
