Great to find a comfortable dog friendly cottage on holiday village site with well maintained grounds and peaceful surroundings but close to many popular areas to visit.

Beds very comfortable and quite spacious accommodation downstairs with nice patio. We enjoyed sitting here in the evening and looking at the stars. The site has a lovely cafe and and areas to walk the dog.

Television channel reception frequently requires a re-tune.

I fail to understand why a modern wifi enabled TV with "mirrorview" is not concidered an essential appliance in 2026. Television in main bedroom does not work. Economy 7 heating on constantly even when it's 30+ degrees outside. Stable door requires a hook to hold it open. Insufficient toilet paper - no slip mat for bath/shower.

the cottage was clean and lovely big enough for us to spend a relaxing week away in a beautiful area.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - no complaints whatsoever.

I didn’t use any of amenities on site so can’t comment- The only suggestion I would make is that the key box is at the back door as the car park is at the back of the house n just easier access as never used the front door. The house itself was comfortable and clean like home from home - loved the little touches - flowers, milk tea n coffee. Would definitely book again if there was availability for next year.

Our stay at Two Hoots was great.

The house was warm, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. There were plenty of places to visit in the area and our dog Ted thoroughly enjoyed the beach at Swanpool and some of the other walks. Highly recommend.

Lovely accomodation, good value, included fresh flowers which was a lovely touch.

The kichen had everything you needed (not always the case with self catering) . Shower was very loud. Nice restaurant bar on sight. Great base for exploring Cornwall.

When shower on very loud airer broken no WiFi

The property was fine, however we had no WiFi for the whole week and the phone signal was very poor to none at all!

as there is no home line this caused us concern as if there were a medical or other emergency you will need to run up to the main building to access their WiFi. We recieved some compensation but would rather be connected where we were staying as we were with our grandaughter and she could not contact home easily, we contacted Sykes for updates but they never replied. A neighbouring cottage had the same problem on arrival but the owner sorted the problem quickly. Ideally you should be warned about the problem before you arrive!

The place was nice enough and close to the beach.

However, the wifi was down the entire time I was there. When I arrived on the Saturday and realised it wasn't working, I couldn't get a hold of anyone. The help line that was 'available 7 days a week until 10pm' wasn't open on the weekend. When I tried calling on the Monday, I was on hold for ages or was aburptly disconnected. It wasn't until I found the complaint page on the Sykes Cottages site that I finally got a response. They said it was an issue with BT and there was nothing they could do. It was very disruptive to my visit as the mobile service was spotty and I had to go to the nearby cafe if I wanted to do anything more than send a text. I ended up leaving early as a result. To be fair, the owner did offer me some money back but it would have been nice for them to find SOME solution. I'm also curious if they warned the next guests about the issue.

The property was very clean and tidy.

The back door has a small gap around it which made it a little chilly at times, though there was a curtain which stopped most of that. Decor and furnishings are a little tired in places however, everything worked and we had what we needed. On demand TV would have been nice. Close to Falmouth and was a great base for our trips to other places in Cornwall. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk on arrival were very welcome.

Delightful cosy comfortable in incredibly beautiful surroundings.

Very quiet and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone. We walked to Swanpool beach but declined the £7 sausage roll there. Lots to see and do there. A stroll along Falmouth High Street and checking out the boat trips is a must. The best accommodation we have stayed at.

Spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen, lots of very hot water and good shower over bath.

Ideal location for exploring area.We didn't use any facilities of holiday park.Very pretty garden setting.The decor was very brown and dark pine, would have liked something more modern, but practical I suppose for holiday let.We couldn't change TV from radio settings and instructions in folder for a previous TV and handset

The property was very clean and well maintained and included everything we needed ❤️ A big plus for us was that our dog was able to stay.

We were OK with the dated decor but we struggled with a couple of things which made our stay not that comfortable (especially given the cost, even during school summer holidays). 1. There's a heater in the property which was on all the time and which we couldn't work out how to switch off. We called the company and only after chasing got told that we could switch it off at the wall despite the sign in the property. This had no effect and we were basically uncomfortably hot the whole stay. 2. We lost hot water twice. The first time, we called the number in the book - this was meant to be open until 10pm but despite it not even being 8pm there was no answer and we had to leave a message. Despite chasing after the second time we lost hot water we never did get a call back. Cold showers on holiday are not acceptable and we were very disappointed at no-one being bothered to get back to us. Would love some kind of response from the owner and/or letting company as we came away not as relaxed as we should have done.

What a great place to stay.

So we'll equipped that u didn't really need to bring anything apart from clothes. A real home from hone feel. Great location and a lovely clubhouse. Would definitely stay again.

Everything we could possibly need was provided - tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits, washing up liquid, laundry tablets, hairdryer, iron, cushions for garden furniture... Beautiful well maintained grounds with tennis, basketball, play area & a great coffee shop/bar/restaurant. Only downside is that there is so much to see & do locally that we didn't get enough time to enjoy the facilities - but we'll be back!

We felt very comfortable at Two Hoots.

Our only issue was loss of TV signal a few times. Everything was clean and in good order and we would definitely return.

Fantastic home from home having everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen. Loads of very hot water for baths after hours of walking the coast path. Comfortable firm mattress on the double bed so well rested each night. Warm and cosy accommodation in very well tended grounds. Dedicated parking space a few feet from the house. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to return in the future.

Just a short walk to a beach and coastal path, we loved hearing the owls hooting at night too!

Absolutley perfect, the only thing that was wrong was the drains however I reported it and it got delt with straight away which was brilliant.

I honestly couldn't fault this property it was perfect! It was so comfy, tidy, it smelt so clean! The bed was amazing. Thankyou so much this is by far my favourite cottage I love two hoots!

We were impressed from the moment we entered Two Hoots.

Great attention to detail and some nice touches like ample biscuits, tea and coffee plus milk in the fridge. Very homely decor…we could easily live there! Very clean throughout. Ample hot water. Excellent power shower in bathroom. The surrounding are very well managed and relaxing. Nice walks from the resort. 30 minutes to Maenporth beach. Would highly recommend.

Nice ideal holiday property and fully equipped.

Two hoots has got everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The park itself is lovely and the gardens are immaculate. It was very quiet when we stayed and it was lovely listening to the birds and the brook. The house itself is abit dated and tired but still amazing value for money and the bed was extremely comfortable! It was clean and comfortable and we’re already thinking about coming back.

The gardens were delightful.

The situation is so quiet. The kitchen was the best equipped we have ever met. The bunch of flowers was a nice touch. Personally we prefer foam mattresses to springs. We do not like Febreze air fragrances as they are a form of pollution and give some people asthma. The kitchen hot tap washer need replacing because it drips even after turning it off quite hard.

Beds comfortable and nice towels plenty of very hot water..Quiet location down a lane .Ideal base for walking holiday or visiting the Cornish Spring gardens.Exterior patio in group of 4 houses not private and could be noisy but we were outside school holidays so quiet.Not old and characterful or very modern in decor but ideal practical base.

Great property.

Lovely to see fresh flowers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and milk provided. Clean and in a lovely location. Everything you might need while at the property was probably there. Would certainly recommend and would stay again.

Wi-Fi password didn’t work at all ,downstairs toilet needs a heater was like a freezer in there small bedroom window even when shut and clipped there is a gap along the top where you can see out side risk of water comeing in apart from that all was ok.

Ps the cookies were lovely

Marvellous Christmas break from 23rd to 30th Two hoots provided a home from home for Chritmas for my wife and Beau our six month puppy Beautifully presented upon arrival with flowers and Christmas card !

Lovely cottage.

In a perfect location both on the site and for exploring Cornwall. Very peaceful and quiet. The only niggle if any - the sofas weren’t very comfortable.

House is well positioned to visit beaches and other places. Very well equipped for the stay. Enjoyed the babbling stream on the doorstep. Very tranquil setting. Thank you for the extra treats you provided, they were much appreciated.

We were actually treated to an owl hooting nearby! Lovely little cottage with clean comfy beds, great bathroom facilities too. The surrounding areas with the stream are just lovely. All in all a very welcoming environment and perfect for us, thank you so much!

Your cottage is extremely comfortable and clean.

The only thing that I would address is changing the size of the double bed, it felt like a very small double. Apart from that we had a fantastic stay. Thank you

The only thing to suggest would be to make the location of the key safe clearer. There is a note to say it is at the front of the property; however, when you turn up and park you expect the part of the house that you can see to be the front. Just a slight confusion but soon resolved.

Also nice touches were, a fresh pint of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits, fresh flowers and a tray of sweets. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Responded well to an issue with the property.

Even though on a holiday village not crowded the cottage it's self had everything you could want in it.

The welcome pack was a lovely gesture coffee tea sugar and biscuits plus some wonderful flowers. Ideal for the beaches and getting around Cornwall would definatly recommend and would book again ourselfs

The cottage was equipped to a very good standard.

Especially the kitchen utensils etc. Very cosy lounge area and felt very much at home watching the European Football Semis. Excellent shower. All round we had a good week. The only negative point is not really anyone’s fault but our own. We would have preferred a cottage in a village with a local pub and shop. There’s no way we would contemplate having a few pints before we took to the narrow country lanes. Anyway, as I said, that was no ones “fault” but our own

We had a lovely week away and enjoyed our stay at Two Hoots.

It’s a lovely cottage & we found it clean & welcoming. The only thing to point out was that the window in the single bedroom was stuck shut and wouldn’t open. We assumed the little garden/patio area would be enclosed rather than open but it wasn’t an issue.

The small bedroom window does not open especially when the room was warm due to the sun on it all day

A lovely comfortable property and we appreciated it being warm and cosy due to the unseasonable May weather!

Good location not far from Falmouth and there are plenty of gardens to visit in the area. Kitchen well equipped the only item missing was a corkscrew.

The house was extremely well equipped and like a home from home.

The park is a garden village which is gorgeous with a stream running through it and lots of walks available. Near to Swan pool beach which was not busy but beautiful and boasted a nature park too. Would definitely recommend this if you want a quiet holiday but near to the amenities in Falmouth and the Lizard.

The picture on the website gave the impression that the cottage was in a remote place and not in a leisure village.

So was disappointed to find it surrounded by other cottages. The cottage itself was comfortable but cold the heater was not blowing out warm air so we spent three nights and mornings huddled around the oil heater, once we made contact with the right department which was able to help us , it was all sorted out in a day. I don't think the heater was checked before we moved in. On the whole we did enjoy our stay and found the area very beautiful with lots of interesting places to visit. It is well worth another stay in the future.

Two Hoots was a great location on this holiday complex.

Timberframe construction does unfortunately transmit noise from adjacent properties when neighbours are noisey. Communal waste bins overflowing before the week was out. Property okay but some appliances a little dated or worn out. Cooker hob took ages to warm up, CD Player broken, digital radio didn't have a signal, TV remotes especially bedroom worked intermittently, bathroom towel rail not secured to wall properly. Apart from this we did have a good holiday but would have been excellent if the above had been addressed.

we had a very good week in two hoots and found it very clean and comfortable and was the perfect base to see our children.

We had a lovely time staying at two hoots, I enjoyed sitting on the bench at the front of the house by the stream, it was so peaceful although it could get busy at times with people walking past.

The only downside to our stay and these are only small criticisms is the light pull in the downstairs toilet is too short, luckily my husband is tall and could reach it, and number 3 and 4 and the ok button do not work on the tv remote control. We would definitely stay there again .

Lovely cottage.

The pictures used on Sykes Web Site don’t actually do the property justice, as it’s on a lovely stream, directly outside the front door. The Park the cottage is in is really well maintained. Falmouth is a perfect spot to go off exploring Cornwall. We went off to St Ives, Padstow and everywhere in between. Good find!

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the cottage which was extremely comfortable and Pendra Loweth was a lovely place to stay and an excellent base for our holiday Hoping to return in the near future

Two hoots at Pendre Loweth, Falmouth was a.

Exceptional base to explore Cornwall. Far enough outside of Falmouth for it to be quiet, but close enough to get a taxi into town for nights out. The complex had everything you could need and is always kept at the highest standard. The cottage itself was clear, tidy and comfortable. I would recommend, and woukd certainly return at some point.

We felt the fridge should be looked at because whilst it worked it never seemed to switch off .

It did not appear to be cold enough. We also felt that as most people including ourselves would benefit from more than just an icebox for keeping frozen meals.

Two Hoots was a fabulous house, well located for enjoying lots of great days out.

The house was lovely and warm and comfortable and had everything in it that we needed. Great facilities and clean and with a kind welcoming tea and coffee and lots of clear relative information when needed. Car parking very handy. A quiet excellent holiday.

The holiday home in Pendra Loweth was beautiful so quiet and secluded yet only a few minutes drive from Falmouth.

My only complaint with it was the out of date milk in the fridge when we arrived apart from that it was brilliant. Comfy bed, great power shower, spacious kitchen and handy downstairs loo. Would recommend two hoots.

The hot water was extremely hot to the point of scalding, there should be either a warning or better still a temperature control fitted to the emersion tank.

Once we found how hot the water gets it was no problem for us, but a child may have a problem, or if a parent run a bath without trying the water before a child takes a bath.

A real home from home, the cottage was lovely with everything we needed, very clean and on a lovely setting.

We enjoyed our holiday very much and the location and site was good.

A hairdryer would have been useful - most places seem to supply one these days so I didn’t pack one and had to buy one. We only had two dinner plates for three people so reception gave us some. And only two toilet rolls for three people!

The location of the property within Pendra Loweth was extremely peaceful and quiet.

The property itself was extremely clean and the amenities we were provided with were fantastic, everything from cooking oil and fluffy towels to fresh flowers! Amazing!

It was very peaceful and the site was beautiful. There was an on site bar and restaurant and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although you have to travel to places for entertainment, the site was fantastic and we will love to visit again. Only issue we had was postcode wrong.

The holiday village was great, which fantastic facilities. The cottage itself was nice, however, cleanliness let it down slightly. The windows were filthy; they need a good clean!!

Our stay at Two Hoots was very enjoyable, like home from home.

The house is well equipped and comfortable situated in a quiet spot near the stream that runs through the holiday village which has an indoor jacuzzi, plunge pool and cafe'bar. Although you can walk to the nearest beaches (Swanpool and Maenporth) - printed directions from reception, the roads have no pavements. Nearby gardens of Glendurgan (National Trust) and Trebah well worth a visit, both have good eateries and are in valleys that run down to small quiet beaches.

Lovely quiet location, 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to 2 quiet beaches.

Falmouth town 10 minutes away in the car. We are regular visitors to Cornwall for over 30 years and we will definitely look to book in this area again.

Yes, the lighting in the main room, needs to be looked at, as it is very poor for this time of year,(needed to use a torch to look into the oven or grill) the downstairs heating is totally inadequate, again alright in the summer, but not now, whilst the general cleanliness was adequate a little more attention is needed in the details, i.

e. cobwebs etc. These the main criticisms for Two Hoots, otherwise every thing was as should be. Graham Smith.

nearby beaches not very sandy and 2 year old struggled with this so would book west coast next time.
