  • "The accommodation was excellent, comfortable beds, hot showers and a lovely clean house with all necessary equipment."

I could not have asked for more. Extremely pleased with the property and the communication, the locals were very friendly and made us very welcome in the pub much to the delight of my family. Thank you to all concerned in making this relaxing break.

  • "This property is amazing."

It was immaculate throughout and had all the amenities you would need. The area doesnt have too much in walking distance, however there is a bus stop a few minutes walk from the house which serves the main villages nearby. There are also many attractions within a short driving distance. We would definitely stop here again when we next visit Cornwall.

  • "It was a pleasure to arrive at this beautifully decorated home."

The house is freshly decorated and is bright and immaculately clean. The house is very well equipped and anything we could think of was available. The beds are very comfortable and there is lots of storage space in the bedrooms. The patio has some comfortable furniture, perfect for evening meals in the pleasant garden. Bathroom and shower rooms were recently refurbished and showers with good power. The location is quiet and only a short drive from Padstow and the coast. We had 2 cars with us and it was great to be able to park them both off the road and easily room for a third car. My daughter worked from home one day and the WiFi was really good with the snug a perfect temporary office away from any noise. I cannot imagine a better base to enjoy this area.

Very clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Lovely private sunny garden too for the 3 of us plus Libby, our Labradoodle. Karen was always available and happy to address our questions. Also, it's in a great location in the lovely little village of St Issey (with it's excellent pub, the Ring o Bells just 5 minutes walk away - great pies!) for getting to Padstow and the Seven Bays. We'd love to come back some time. Terry and Angie

  • "We had a lovely stay at Trelowen."

Me, my husband and our dog. The house was really well decorated and clearly looked after. It was perfect for cold, wet, windy November evenings when we didn't want to head out. The kicthen had everything you could need and the garden was perfect for the pup to run around in safe and secure. I'm sure on a summers evening it would be lovely to enjoy the firepit and sit on the patio. The location was super quiet (in a good way) and not far from all the beaches and a couple of pubs etc. We had a great stay. Karen (the owner) was in touch to make sure we had everything we needed, including the key for the EV charger. We were charged for what we used at a normal home tariff, no hiked up prices (as i have seen on other properties) so reassuing to be able to just plug the car in each eve, like we would at home. Really lovely house, thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks for your lovely comments, so pleased you enjoyed your stay .Would love to welcome you back in the future Property Owner

Presentation was perfect, decor outstanding, cleanliness was excellent. During our stay we found the property very comfortable with outstanding amenities, kitchen stocked with all utensils and equipment necessary. Plenty of hot water and heating. Bedrooms spotlessly clean to match the rest of the accommodation, beds extremely comfortable. Plenty of parking at front of house, garden at back of house nice and secluded, very neat and tidy. Where the property is situated makes it even more desirable for visiting different resorts around Cornwall. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay. Will definitely be returning again, hopefully in the near future. Thank You! Very Happy and Satisfied Miss Kim

  • "Trelowan is a beautiful and comfortable holiday home."

We were blown away with the decor and welcoming feeling as soon as we arrived as well an a wonderful welcome pack. Everything was as described and we were not short of anything. We paid for use of the snug for 2 extra family members and even with 8 in the house there was still plenty of room. The location is close to Padstow and the beautiful Trevone Bay with a regular bus running from the end of the road direct into Padstow - which is ideal if you want to avoid parking. There is a lovely back garden with furniture to relax in after a day spent exploring the beautiful area. We’ve stayed in many holiday homes in the local area and I can definitely say that Trelowan is by far the best.

  • "We had an amazing time staying at the property on our holiday to Cornwall."

It was our little boy’s first holiday so comfort and cleanliness were key for me and this property delivered just that, it was truly a home from home. The owner, Karen, was in regular contact with myself if we needed any help and even messaged to update me about the parking apps at the beaches which I thought was very kind!! It’s located in a lovely village where there are a couple of local pubs, 2 within walking distance. We visited the nearby ring ‘o’ bells pub which put on a lovely Sunday dinner - we would recommend booking though! There are so many beaches nearby that are dog friendly so perfect for our four legged friends, we loved Harlyn bay as it had plenty of facilities - food, coffee, beer, toilets etc! Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider returning to Trelowan when next I’m Cornwall!

  • "We have just spent a week at the wonderful Trelowen."

The house is beautifully decorated throughout and furnished to a very high standard. We did not think the photos did it justice! The welcome pack was one of the best we’ve had, the cream teas were a very welcome sight after our long journey. It was spotlessly clean, making it feel like a home from home. We were a group of two families and felt there was plenty of space for us all. The flexibility of the snug was a real plus, as was the downstairs shower room. The kitchen is very well equipped, the patio area and sunny garden are great and secure for the dogs. The living room/ dining room is a good size, offering lots of flexibility for seating our large group comfortably inside. We made use of the EV charger - which was easy to use. There was more than enough parking space on the private drive for our two cars. The location is great - lots and lots to do all close by. The house is just couple of mins walk to the bus stop. The buses run about every hour to Padstow or Bodmin, much easier than taking a car. The village does not have a shop - but that did not impact at all as Padstow and Wadebridge are both within very close proximity, with large supermarkets at each. Karen and David are lovely hosts, great communication - could not have asked for more. In conclusion, we loved it and would highly recommend.

As out first guests, I am so pleased you had such a great time in Trelowen. Thank you Caroline for your lovely comments. We are so delighted you enjoyed your stay and the two families had plenty of room (including the dogs) We will be only too pleased to welcome you back in the future.
