"We loved staying in Joe's Barn."

The owner welcomed us on our arrival and showed us where to park. He was always available to answer any questions and gave us some great ideas about what to do during our stay. The barn was larger than we expected and was airy, light and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The nearby Polurrian Beach is in a beautiful cove with a sandy beach. It's a ten minute walk away and, when we went early in the day, we almost had the place to ourselves. In July and August, dogs are only allowed on the beach before 10am and after 6pm so we made the most of taking our dog there before and after the curfew. Early evening on Friday we enjoyed listening to live music at Poldhu Beach with a barbeque (there is also a beach cafe). Lizard Point is easy to get to via an hourly bus service and (apparently) you can hail the number 34 anywhere along it's route as long as it's somewhere safe for the driver to stop. Mullion has an 'edge of the world' feel and is perfect for relaxing and recuperating. We found the Lizard Peninsula an unpretentious part of Cornwall that we look forward to returning to again and again!

"Joe's was a great place to stay."

The location was great, with beaches and amenities on the Lizard, just a short drive away. We loved the Polurrian beach, as it is only accessable by foot, again a short walk from Joe's, meaning it was extremely quiet and great for the dog to go off her lead. Poldhu beach with the beach cafe was brilliant, although as expected during the school holidays, it was very popular. If I were to be very picky, an enclosed area for the dog to go outdoors safely would have been a bonus. But as said, this is me being very picky. Overall a wonderful place to stay

"Excellent property and our host, Jim, was very friendly and helpful."

Our one comment is that the directions for Joe's barn on your website were unhelpful, particularly when we got close to it in Laflouder Lane. There was no sign outside the property and we had to ask a local. Jim's directions in the cottage were excellent but by then we knew where it was!
