  • "The most beautiful holiday home."

There is not a thing that has been forgotten to make your time here a pleasure. The house is actually better than the pictures show. Lorna and Harvey are the most friendly and kind owners and put themselves out to come along and make sure all was ok. You will not be disappointed if you book to stay here. We will 100% be back.

  • "Beautifully presented property which was in a great location for our needs."

We had the pleasure to meet our hosts and their lovely family who were really welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay. The welcome gifts were delightful and appreciated. The hot tub and sauna were easy to use and worked like a dream. The property had everything we needed. The only downside were the uncomfortable beds and sofas.

  • "Fabulous house in a beautiful setting!"

It had everything you could possibly need, and felt like a real ‘home from home’. We were welcomed with beautiful flowers and welcome hamper with lots of local produce, which we loved! And Lorna was attentive and checked in when there was an issue with a nearby houses’ electricity to make sure everything was ok. We didn’t use the hot tub given the weather, but absolutely loved the sauna which was really easy to use! Great walks nearby as well as easy access to drive out and explore. We were also really impressed with St Just and made use of the amenities close by, easily walkable. Lovely place to stay and we hope to visit again soon! Thanks again!

  • "We would certainly recommend The Riblows to friends and will be rebooking in 2025!"

The property is very comfortable, spacious and just as it appears on the website. I particularly enjoyed being able to warm up in the sauna after a day out on the coastal path. If you like walking, it’s about 5 mins walk out of the farm to get onto the south west coastal path and seriously good views. We spotted seals throughout the week so don’t forget your binoculars. For those travelling with dogs. The garden is enclosed and secure. There isn’t any traffic in the farm apart from those living/staying there and the cottage faces away from the track. Our dog loved the underfloor heating and would find his spot of maximum coziness to flop out when we came back. Probably our most dog friendly cottage to date.

  • "Wonderful stay with friends at The Riblows."

Perfect, rural setting, yet within walking distance to the nearest village St Just. The cottage was well-equipped and super comfortable, toasty warm in January. Plenty of space for six adults... large kitchen diner, and cooking facilities were ideal. Huge sofas, a cinema room, lovely dog 'room' under the stairs (very cute) and the sauna and hot tub made for a relaxing weekend. The owners were super helpful and provided a luxury welcome box, which was much appreciated and very generous. Highly recommend!

The cottage boasts excellent facilities, and everyone enjoyed them – the sauna was my personal favorite. The informative welcome pack and the amazing welcome package, particularly appreciated after a long drive, made the experience even more enjoyable. The area is charming, with convenient walking distance to shops and numerous sightseeing places. I would 100% recommend booking this cottage, and would hope to visit again in the future.

We stayed over Christmas truly magical. The Riblows feels like a home and not a holiday let, so many beautiful touches. Top of the range appliances, kettle, coffee machine toaster and food mixer. Welcome packs containing local artisan products. The weather was very windy and wet but that did not stop us from enjoying the great location and walking our dogs. Exceptional place to stay and hosts.

On arrival, we were very impressed with the beautiful decor and luxurious furnishings and overall presentation of each room. We were blown away by the very thoughtful and generous welcome pack containing fresh fruit, vegetables, salad, crisps, chocolate, cheese, bread, eggs, butter, milk, fruit juice & muesli. Absolutely outstanding. Each of the bedrooms were very tastfully decorated and comfortable along with the practical ensuites with added touches of nice soap and room fragrance. The family enjoyed the cinema room with the added bonus of sweets and drinks supplied in the fridge. The outdoor space was Incredible. Lovely garden furniture to use along with superb views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the safe enclosed garden. We visited some beautiful places, Cape Cornwall just a short walk away with stunning views of the dramatic coastline. We went to Sennen cove and then on to Gwynver beach around the next cove, stunning. We had a lovely day on the beach at Portcurno, beautiful sweep of golden sand and dog friendly, sea was rough so no swimming sadly but spectacular waves. Mousehole very pretty, but does get very busy, but worth a visit for the lovely shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cornwall which was made extra special by staying in such a beautiful holiday property. Would highly recommend.

About the location

ST JUST

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
