  • "It was perfect for our needs this weekend."

    It was spotless and comfortable with a great bed. The spa was fabulous (I had a massage by Briony which was really, really excellent). It's very well placed for the coast, the towns and beautiful Carbis Bay beach. We would definitely return I have a few things to mention but these are not criticisms, just suggestions Salt - there was black pepper but not salt. It costs pennies but it's always good to have some Maybe an armchair in the living area? I think there is space for one and as much as I love my partner, I would've liked a little more seating space Leaving the lodge info somewhere a bit more visible. I didn't find it until the last day

  • "This is our 2nd visit to Una, it’s beautiful, comfortable, quiet."

    This property has everything that you can possibly want, it’s very tastefully furnished the onsite spa/pool is lovely you can book treatments, or just enjoy the pool/spa facilities. Everything you need is very close to hand, lovely beaches for dog walking, easy to get into st Ives, lovely restaurants, food shops the owners have thought of everything we even had a Christmas gift, mince pies, crackers, Christmas drink such a lovely surprise and so thoughtful of them we are planning our next trip back already Nigel & Jackie

  • "A wonderful find, we really can't think of anything negative to say about this holiday, the lodge was cosy, comfortable, well equipped and so clean & bright."

    And the facilities at una spa were fantastic, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly, we made full use of them everyday. The surrounding scenery, especially carbis bay was breathtaking. Thankyou for a lovely holiday, we will definitely recommend and hopefully return

  • "Didn’t know restaurant was closed."

    Alfred was very helpful. Dog litter bin disappeared during our stay.

There is an on site cafe and we hope you discovered some of the wonderful restaurants very close by. The communal general waste bins accept dog litter at the two locations on site.   • "The property we stayed in was very comfortable."

    Having a decent bed, settee and dining table is essential. The kitchen and its equipment was also good. It was a very warm property without the need for the radiators during the stormy weather we had. A shame that we can’t book the weather too. However, despite the changeable weather we still managed to get out and about and being able to swim every day at the centre was an added bonus. To have milk, tea, biscuits and scones on arrival was very welcome and a nice touch.

  • "A beautiful property very comfortable, quiet just what we were looking for to totally unwind, with everything so close to hand, lovely beaches/places to eat."

    We used the train into st Ives and also park and ride, beautiful town with lots of lovely shops, everyone was so friendly. The use of the health club and spa onsite was an added bonus there is nothing not to like about this place!!! Nigel & Jackie Cambridge

  • "We had absolutely fabulous time."

    The accommodation was pristine Area was peaceful and relaxing with a lot of beautiful walks (only 30/40mins walk to nearest always empty dog friendly beach), views were breathtaking and the staff was amazing. We used swimming pool and sauna facilities once as we were mainly walking in the area sightseeing and cannot recommend them enough - clean and tidy everywhere we went. Staff was super friendly and so were the owners we had a delicious cream tea waiting for us upon our arrival which was such a sweet touch. We will definitely be booking back, we have wonderful time.

  • "Everything about this accommodation was fabulous."

    Easy to get to. Great location and quiet and relaxing. Love the parking, washing machine and spa facilities. Nothing stands out as needing improvement. The townhouse was beautifully appointed.

  • "The property owner couldn’t have been more helpful, he helped us in finding the property and in setting up the TV!"

    Provisions in the property were good, there were no toiletries provided in the main bathroom which was a surprise but not a real problem. The initial stock of coffee was limited to one sachet which could be improved, the welcome pack was lovely. The kitchen was really well stocked with utensils and cleaning products, wash tablets etc. The proximity to Carbis Bay beach was ideal, a short drive away to the sandy beach. We didn’t take advantage of the Spa facilities.

  • "Una is a great location with easy access to StIves Hayle and Carbis Bay, the resort itself is very peaceful with full use of the lovely Spa facilities including a Gym pool steam room sauna and jacuzzi and even a outdoor pool."

    The Azure lodge was lovely, very clean and modern with a well equipped kitchen and everything was of a very good quality. A very nice touch was a little welcome pack with snacks milk etc. Thank you to Angela from housekeeping who popped by to make sure we were happy and if anything was needed we had the reassurance she was never far away.

An open plan one bedroom property, this is the ideal place for a peaceful getaway to recharge and explore this stunning part of the country.

A reverse level property, Azure Retreat offers modern comforts, adjacent dedicated parking and amazing sunset views from the open plan upstairs, or the decking outside the bedroom below.

The lodge has eco-friendly features of solar panels, sedum roof and triple glazing.

Guests have access to Una St Ives on site shared leisure facilities, including a heated indoor infinity pool, a sauna, a steam room, a jacuzzi, and gym.

The outdoor heated Lido pool is open from April to November, ideal for sunny days.

There is an onsite café for a post swim wind down with coffee and cake.

For those looking to spoilt themselves further, spa treatments are available to book at an additional cost.

There are a number of local, independent places to eat, with the highly regarded "Romanos" Trattoria just half a mile away.

CARBIS BAY

St Ives 2 miles ; Hayle 3.5 miles ; Penzance 8.5 miles.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP (paddle board) and get out on the water instead? Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far away and is home to activities for all the family, including golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoor and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
