  • "A lovely apartment with a well equipped and bright feeling ,maybe too bright in the bedroom early morning ,We could get back to sleep but if not I suggest an eye mask if you want it dark."

A lovely basket of goody's , milk and coffee which was a hit after the long drive. For a change I didn't cook but ate out every day while exploring the area. A definite one we would book again when down that way . We are in our 74years.

  • "Fabulous location and excellent little place that was thoughtfully and lovingly prepared and decorated."

Loved the welcome pack(super nice touch) and the towels in the bathroom too. Well done. Only two negatives - very uncomfortable sofa and uncomfortable bed mattresses.

  • "Just one tiny, tiny little bit of advice, if you are a light sleeper, take some ear plugs with you."

Delivery lorries, binmen, and other vehicles can be a tad noisy, the bedroom is right at the front, of the beautiful property, about 5 maybe 6ft away from the road. Apart from that, the place itself, Absolutely beautiful.

The flat was modern and spotless, a welcome hamper was just what we needed when we arrived with tea bags, biscuits, coffee pods and milk etc. The owner was fabulous, nothing too much trouble, if your looking for a spot to rest or are fit for some surfing, sight seeing this is the place. looking forward to our next visit. • "Wow - what an amazing apartment!"

Really well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches, such as a welcome hamper, plenty of hangers and crockery/cutlery. My particular favourite was the light-up make-up mirror. Apartment was a good size, with a super king bed and dual headed shower. Outside space was excellent with outdoor seating, barbeque and a shed with deck chairs. Location good - 5 min walk to Fistral beach and 10 - 15 mins to town centre where there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Communication with Jane, the owner, was faultless with clear instructions on parking and key collection and contact numbers. Also lots of information about the apartment and surrounding area. Would love to stay here again.

  • "Great location, really well designed flat, and owner has thought of everything for a perfect stay."

The only letting I’ve ever been to and felt one could use everything without having to wash it first! The Cornish welcome hamper was a lovely touch and much appreciated having flown to the location. Well-kitted out, even down to dishwasher tablets, suite of condiments, toilet rolls and foil etc.

  • "Great apartment for us and our small dog."

Very comfortable and we had outside space to sit and even barbecue which was really nice. it was so convenient for the beaches and great walks around the perimeter of the golf course. (next time I will take my clubs). If you walk the other way from Fistral you can walk along the headland and then down into the harbor. Great time.

  • "We’ve just returned yesterday from a weeks stay and we couldn’t fault the place."

The place was perfect and in the best location for beaches in Newquay. On the second day we had a power cut and I text the owner Jane who came down within 10 minutes and sorted it. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay and added bonuses including body boards to use, a bbq for a night in and a great coffee machine for those early mornings. The place was so clean, parking is right around the corner and the little basket of complimentary goodies was lovely! Next time we return to Cornwall we will definitely be booking this place. A hidden gem in Newquay. Couldn’t recommend enough.

  • "We have just returned home from an amazing 7-day break in Newquay, staying at the 5-star apartment that was Fistral Drift."

We were lucky enough to see this gem of a place when it was first advertised following its total refurb earlier this Summer. Everything is shiny and new, very high spec and tastefully decorated. Amazing rain shower. Fabulous outdoor space and the perfect location. Our host (Jane) was great, easy to communicate with if needed, giving clear instructions re directions and the amenities etc. There was a lovely welcome hamper on our arrival which was a lovely touch. We already planning our 2022 trip back there. Andrew C, West London.
