  • "St Georges is a dark grotty flat that smelt musty and damp."

The carpet and the furniture were badly stained. The windows were filthy and covered in bird mess. The outside deck was dirty and had lumps of moss and other debris. The bathroom was clean but had no extractor fan and if there was one it didn't work. As there was no window or ventilation the bathroom smelt very unpleasant all of the time. The fridge was in a cupboard in the kitchen area and when you opened the cupboard door it smelt foisty and damp. The Wifi didn't work. The entrance to the building was blocked by a wheelie bin and was covered in cigarette butts and beer bottles. The stairway also smelt unpleasant. This flat is upstairs in an old building with no or very little ventilation, it is well photographed to make it look far nicer and brighter than it actually is.

  • "We had a great stay."

The apartment was well located, well maintained and clean. Well stocked kitchen, good towels and sheets and a lovely shower were especially appreciated! Not for publishing but for the owner: It needs a welcome letter explaining things such as how to work the hob, lock the terrace door, telly, don't feed the gulls and where/when to put the bins. Acoustics are not great and we could constantly hear the music of the people above. Otherwise we loved it!

  • "Property is in the centre which i excellent."

However shared balcony is disgusting. You can't helped bird poo but this is years and years of neglect. Bin full from previous stay. Considering this is also a fire escape its amazing to me this isn't sorted. The flat was so hot and the fire alarm went off after day 2 just from cooking. Had to call the handyman out who admitted the fire systems and electrics are all oit of date. If you charge the prices the place has to be up to standard.
