A beautiful cottage with thoughtful touches from the owner such as a goodie hamper and emergency pain relief.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Lots of windows and a lovely sea view from the bedroom. Just a short walk from the harbour with a local spar for essentials. Plenty of eateries and pubs near by to relax by the water. We did have difficulty parking on the adjacent roads however, we did stay in the cottage during the peak summer holidays so it was expected. The paid carpark was reasonably priced and only a short 5-10min walk away. There was also room on the corner of the road for packing and unpacking the car right next to the property so we didn't need to walk 10mins with our picnic bags.

Sunrise Cottage was fantastic from start to finish.

It was beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and its perfect location made our stay even more enjoyable. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

My wife and I were due to stay at Sunrise Cottage from Friday 3rd July- Friday 9th July.

2026. Unfortunately my mother died suddenly on Thursday 2nd July and we were unable to visit the cottage. This was very upsetting for us all. We informed the owner of our circumstances and that we were not able to visit, due to my mother’s sudden death. We received a sympathy email from the owner, informing us to contact Sykes Cottages regarding a refund. Unfortunately we had no travel insurance and Sykes informed us that the owner was not prepared to reimburse us any money at all. I find it TOTALLY incredulous that under the circumstances that the owner could not have found some sympathy towards us, regarding our circumstances and reimbursed us some money back, due to us not using any of the amenities and none of the laundry etc. I didn’t want to send this feedback, but under the circumstances I feel I need to make further customers aware of the feelings the owner of the cottage has if they are unable to stay and to make sure that they have travel insurance that will cover them if a situation like ours was to arise for them, as we had not taken out the necessary insurance to cover this unfortunate eventuality.

We found the cottage to be in a perfect position for the towns shops, bars and restaurants, quite a steep incline, but beautiful views!

The cottage smelled quite musty when we arrived, but it did get better after letting some air through. Everything was quite cluttered and dated in the property, there was also some very unusual items scattered around….. The stairs and landing carpet were stained and dirty, and even packets of condoms in the bathroom cabinet, not really what expect in a supposed 5 star property! The photos also showed a bistro set in the garden, but this wasn’t there to enjoy. We have stayed in many 5* properties over the years, but this is the worse one we have been in.

Excellent cottage with a 5 minute walk to Padstow main town & harbour.

Ideal for 2 people & if like us as foodies cooking ourselves & not restaurants the kitchen certainly does not disappoint. In fact none of it disappoints. A very enjoyable stay Stu & Debbie

Sunrise Cottage is lovely.

It is in a lovely area of Padstow with wonderful views from its many windows. The accomodation is excellent and very well equiped. We will certainly return.

I had a fantastic time staying at Sunrise Cottage.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The downstairs was cosy and the upstairs light and airy with great views. The kitchen was fantastic with everything I needed. Location is good as it’s only a short walk to the harbour and amenities. Host was easy to contact via email :)

What a wonderful little cottage, a real home from home, kitchen is extremely well equipped, comfortable bed, great bathroom and just a short walk to Padstow.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday cottage in Padstow – it truly exceeded all expectations.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how thoughtfully presented everything was. The cottage is absolutely immaculate, with a perfect blend of cosy charm and modern comfort. The location couldn’t be better, just a short stroll from the harbour, shops, and fantastic restaurants. Inside, every detail has clearly been carefully considered. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the living space felt warm and inviting – the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Cornish coast. What really made our stay special was the welcoming atmosphere. It felt like a true home-from-home, and it’s obvious the owners take great pride in making sure guests have a memorable experience. This was our second stay in Sunrise Cottage. Sadly, as the property no longer accepts dogs, we will be unable to return.

Great little property for 2 , very clean , fully stocked with kitchen utensils if required , 5 mins walk from the Harbor front/Restaurants and less than 10 mins walk to the car park which before the end of March is only £9.

00 a week , we manged 6 days walking the SW coast while staying here using local bus services/ferry etc and 3 great meals out.Small car advised for Padstow !!

Such a charming cottage in a great location - there actually is a sea view from the bedroom window!

Had everything we needed (including a Tim Vine joke book - something we never knew we needed). The two of us and our little terrier were very comfortable here! Only thing to note is that it's not possible to park outside the house. There is a road close by which we were able to park on, but that was pre-half term in February so it may be difficult in peak times. You can park at the edge of the house to load/unload car though which was useful. This wasn't something that bothered us as we mostly walked to places but just something for others to be aware of. Thank you for having us, we would definitely stay here again ❤️

Very cosy property, ideally situated for walking to the beach or for the shops, pubs and restaurant.

Very well equipped kitchen, powerful shower or bath for relaxing after long walks. Beautiful view of the sunrise and estuary from the bedroom window. We brought our dog with us, but unfortunately we won't be able to stay here again as pets are no longer allowed. Would otherwise be returning next year for our annual Padstow trip.

Lovely cottage, a few minutes walk from the shops, pubs, restaurants and the harbour.

Great for dog owners with a lots of walks, coast path and beaches nearby. The host Brian was extremely friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend Sunrise Cottage.

Sunrise Cottage is a beautiful, characterful cottage with all the modern amenities needed (including a great kitchen and bathroom with a great shower).

It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and was perfectly situated a five-minute walk from the centre of Padstow. The owner was also very accommodating. After leaving an item of clothing behind when we left, he very kindly agreed to post the item back to us. We would definitely recommend Sunrise Cottage to friends and family.

We had a fabulous week in Sunrise Cottage.

It’s in an ideal situation just up the hill from the town centre but close enough to easily walk to shops pubs and restaurants. It is also perfect for accessing the coastal path. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the gas ‘wood burner’ on cold rainy days. Our little dog Bella found her happy place by the fire. We didn’t park on the lane but the Link Road car park a short walk away offers a weeks parking for £9! We loved this cosy cottage so much we have booked again for next March. A wonderful cottage, set in Padstow Old Town with all its charm.

Sunrise Cottage was cosy and very comfortable. Every home comfort had been thought of by the owners, and provided. We will be back!

Sunrise Cottage is a wonderful, comfortable, amazingly equipped cottage with everything you could possibly need and then some.

..owner Brian has thought of everything. The cottage is situated up the hill from the town and has lovely views of the estuary and if you are lucky, the sunrises. We had a fabulous time in Padstow and would definitely stay here again...would certainly recommend Sunrise Cottage! Thank you Brian for a lovely stay

Lovely cottage everything we needed was there very clean great location the dog field the dog friendly beaches just across the road but go the other way the pubs caffe shops etc on your doorstep will come again

What a fabulous stay at Sunrise Cottage.

It was everything we needed, a cosy home from home stay in an amazing location with a very short walk into Padstow where you will find shops pubs cafes and the harbour. We cannot wait to return soon!

We met the owner on arrival who was helpful, and also gained us a parking space which wasn’t part of the property.

The property is great for a two people stay with easy access everywhere. Great location once you get used to walking up the hill to it. We would stay here again.

This is a beautiful little cottage within walking distance to the town and harbour.

There are lots of things to do there and lots of coastal path walks to a number of beaches ⛱️ there is a tutor house to visit well worth going around the house and gardens. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather all week so we took a ferry over to the rock, The day before we were due to come home there is another beautiful beach. I highly recommend this cottage and the area.

This is a lovely place to stay.

We spent 6 days here and everything is in walking distance. The cottage is well equipped, warm and a real home rom home. Our host was very helpful, we would love to stay here again.

Considering it's an old building it has been very tastefully modernised with up to date decor. The cottage was lovely and warm considering it was a bitterly cold February day when we arrived. We loved being so close to the main part of Padstow and walking along the beach and Camel trail. We didn't use the car at. We would certainly consider making a return visit.

I was lucky with the weather so was out most of day walking etc so sunrise cottage was a perfect base to come home to - very cosy, warm and comfortable.

It was in the perfect location and very quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy and I always found a space but it was February- might be a different story in high season

The owner’s attention to detail is exceptional. Not sure I would consider anywhere else in Padstow as this just ticked all the boxes.
