  • "Very cosy property, ideally situated for walking to the beach or for the shops, pubs and restaurant."

    Very well equipped kitchen, powerful shower or bath for relaxing after long walks. Beautiful view of the sunrise and estuary from the bedroom window. We brought our dog with us, but unfortunately we won't be able to stay here again as pets are no longer allowed. Would otherwise be returning next year for our annual Padstow trip.

    Great for dog owners with a lots of walks, coast path and beaches nearby. The host Brian was extremely friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend Sunrise Cottage.

  • "Sunrise Cottage is a beautiful, characterful cottage with all the modern amenities needed (including a great kitchen and bathroom with a great shower)."

    It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and was perfectly situated a five-minute walk from the centre of Padstow. The owner was also very accommodating. After leaving an item of clothing behind when we left, he very kindly agreed to post the item back to us. We would definitely recommend Sunrise Cottage to friends and family.

  • "We had a fabulous week in Sunrise Cottage."

    It’s in an ideal situation just up the hill from the town centre but close enough to easily walk to shops pubs and restaurants. It is also perfect for accessing the coastal path. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the gas ‘wood burner’ on cold rainy days. Our little dog Bella found her happy place by the fire. We didn’t park on the lane but the Link Road car park a short walk away offers a weeks parking for £9! We loved this cosy cottage so much we have booked again for next March. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

    ..owner Brian has thought of everything. The cottage is situated up the hill from the town and has lovely views of the estuary and if you are lucky, the sunrises. We had a fabulous time in Padstow and would definitely stay here again...would certainly recommend Sunrise Cottage! Thank you Brian for a lovely stay

  • "This is a beautiful little cottage within walking distance to the town and harbour."

    There are lots of things to do there and lots of coastal path walks to a number of beaches ⛱️ there is a tutor house to visit well worth going around the house and gardens. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather all week so we took a ferry over to the rock, The day before we were due to come home there is another beautiful beach. I highly recommend this cottage and the area.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Cottage."

    Considering it's an old building it has been very tastefully modernised with up to date decor. The cottage was lovely and warm considering it was a bitterly cold February day when we arrived. We loved being so close to the main part of Padstow and walking along the beach and Camel trail. We didn't use the car at. We would certainly consider making a return visit.

    It was in the perfect location and very quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy and I always found a space but it was February- might be a different story in high season

Sunrise Cottage is an immaculately presented terraced cottage situated in Padstow's Old Town just a short walk from the harbour and attractions.

Set over two floors, this delectable cottage provides high quality accommodation for couples within a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of one of Cornwall's most renowned destinations.

On the ground floor, you'll step into a welcoming hallway that leads into a charming, nautically inspired open-plan living space, featuring an intimate dining table for two and two steps guiding you to a sleek kitchen.

The kitchen offers plenty of room and all the modern amenities needed to prepare a delicious feast, or unbox a local takeaway.

After dinner, sink into the luxurious Laura Ashley furnishings and relax and watch the flickering flames of the fire.

Unwind and catch up on your favorite shows on the TV, completing the perfect evening.

On the first floor is a comfortable double bedroom and a stylish bathroom with both a bath and walk-in shower, ideal for washing sandy toes after a day of adventure.

Outside, you will find a small courtyard area with just enough room for two to dine alfresco while your four-legged friend stretches their legs.

Immerse yourself at the heart of Padstow's famous harbour and town, with shops, a range of restaurants, including Paul Ainsworth at No6 and Rick Stein's Sea Food Restaurant and Saint Petroc's Bistro, for a Michelin-star experience.

You can also visit the interesting National Lobster Hatchery and see their work.

Sea enthusiasts can soak up the sun at some of Cornwall’s most iconic beaches.

Head to Harlyn Bay to ride the waves and show off your surfing skills, or visit Trevone Bay, perfect for exploring vibrant rock pools and enjoying a refreshing swim.

A little further afield are a range of things to do, you could embark on the South West Coastal Path, take the Camel trail cycle route, or book a fishing trip, Sealife safari, or a relaxing ferry ride to the bustling town of Rock.

Harlyn 2.9 miles; Constantine Bay 4.2 miles; Polzeath 15.6 miles.

Padstow is situated at the head of the Camel Cycle Trail and is a fantastic base for exploring the South West Coastal Path which opens up routes to beautiful Cornish countryside. This delightful fishing port is surrounded by sandy beaches and offers many opportunities to taste the locally sourced produce in celebrity owned establishments. Padstow has something for everyone with watersports, walking, cycling and fishing, you can even take a trip on a local fisherman’s boat! The excellent surfing beaches of Harlyn and Constantine are ideal for safe family fun, and Constantine Bay is also home to a golf course, just a few miles away, while a passenger ferry across the river from Padstow to Rock takes you to the beach at Daymer Bay. Just around the corner toward Pentire Head is the surfing paradise at Polzeath, and when the beach no longer calls, there’s a golf course nearby, several stately homes and gardens to visit. The fabulous Eden Project is just over twenty miles away.
