Lowenek

Lowenek is a lovely bungalow.

It has everything you might need to make your stay as comfortable as is possible. Nothing is too much trouble for Tracey and John.

This was our second visit and everything was as expected The cottage is very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed.

The field next to the cottage was ideal for our little dog to exercise. Also we enjoyed the quiet away from any traffic noise.

What can we say.

We have stayed at Lowenek before. We loved it then and seemed even lovelier this time round. There where a cream tea and biscuits waiting for us on are arrival. the cottage is well equipped with everything you need. And Tracy and John are great hosts always being there if you need anything. Thank you so much for a very peaceful and restful holiday. We loved it ❤️ Annette, Linda, Margaret and Reuben the dog

Lowenek is a really lovely cottage, super clean, extremely well equipped and top of the range in everything.

Tracey and John are excellent hosts, really friendly and helpful. The paddock for the dogs is brilliant, mine loved it. Would definitely love to return one day

A well maintained property with excellent hosts who are very friendly and are on hand if you have any problems.

We took Patch our dog and the garden is very secure and Tracey and John even supply covers for sofa so they can join you on the settee. There is also an exercise area beyond the garden. Easy access to Rock Polzeath and Port Isaac although a drive away. Can’t reccommend it highly enough.

Lowenek is beautiful and absolutely perfect for me and my dog. Extremely comfortable, well appointed and cosy. The outdoor space was perfect and being able to park right outside the door, coupled with the large porch, made loading and unloading the car easy. Tracy & John were on hand if needed. The welcome scones and shortbread were a lovely touch. Thank you for a fabulous week, look forward to seeing you next year.

The cottage was well equipped clean and well maintained.

Near Port Isaac Rock and Padstow. Very comfortable and quiet away from traffic. The enclosed patio was great for our dog and she had plenty of room to run in the nearby field

Tracy and John the hosts were fantastic and always on hand if you needed anything. Location was brilliant and the cottage was the most well equipped we have ever stayed in. We would definitely love to stay again in the future.

Tracey and John were very welcoming. The property was spotless and very well equipped. It had everything we needed and was really well thought out. The garden is very secure for our escape artist dog! We enjoyed the local pub and the one at St Teath. We would definitely book again.

In all our experiences on holiday cottages it is the first time that the owner has asked what type of milk we prefer in the welcome pack A small gesture but a huge statement. .

Fantastic holiday cottage, perfect for upto 4 people.

We came with two plus two dogs, nice enclosed field where they can let of steam and perfectly placed for what Cornwall has to offer. Cream tea and dog treats on arrival tops this off. Fantastic facilities from coffee maker,bath and shower, twin and double bed plus spaced seating areas and an outdoor suntrap patio.it has been a delight to stay here and we will return

Perfect property to stay with every comfort catered for.

The very welcome Cornish Scones, Jam, tea and coffee along with milk in the fridge, awaiting us along with so many thoughtful additional things to make our stay from the start welcoming. Great meadow for doggies to run around. Lovely peaceful place yet so easy to get to many places including eateries. 10/10.

The cottage is a credit to Tracy and John with the attention to detail for all your needs taken care of. You are put at ease as dog owners at the thought that has been put in by the owners regarding safety and security for your pet. Great location for trips out with rock beach only 10 mins away. Hope to return again.

Lovely clean well equipped cottage.

Very dog friendly with the secure garden and use of the field. Would definitely stay again. The only slight down side of the cottage is that it's not that close to any shops and the pub in the village wasnt serving food unfortunately but as long as your prepared to drive everywhere it's fine.

We have just returned from another lovely week at Lowenek with our dog.

The cottage has everything you could need and more, and the hosts John & Tracy were as welcoming as always. The weather wasn’t great some of the time but the cottage was a lovely comfortable base to come back to and spend time in and the secure garden is perfect if you have a dog. Thanks for a lovely stay. We absolutely loved staying at Lowenek.

We chose the property based on location and the fact that it had somewhere for our Springer to have some guaranteed run around time each day. What a find! It exceeded our expectations. The property is immaculate, with everything you need and more for a very comfortable stay. Lovely views in a peaceful location, the field is pretty, full of interest with it's meadow area, hedgerows, pond and the wildlife it attracts. John and Tracey are welcoming and have thought of everything to get your holiday started right from the get go. We would not hesitate to recommend and hope we can stay again one day.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The cream tea and biscuits were a lovely surprise. John and Tracey were friendly and available for any queries . The dogs were also catered for, they loved the field. We will definitely be back !!

Lovely property, small but perfectly formed.

Very comfortable, warm with all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay. The enclosed patio suited the dogs & we made good use of the paddock next to the cottage to let them have a run. In a great location near to Port Isaac & close to beaches at Daymer Bay & Rock with Padstow on the other side of the estuary. We would highly recommend it & we look forward to returning

The location is perfect for getting around and the owners are only next door if you have any problems or questions.

I don’t generally leave reviews but Lowenek was just such a lovely place I’m sharing our thoughts.

The location is perfect for exploring the area and the accommodation had everything you could need and was very thoughtfully put together. We’d definitely book again.

The cottage for self catering was very well equipped, very clean and everything needed there plus some extras.

The welcome / communication was great from the owners, even leaving some treats as a welcome for our dog. Very peaceful and lovely views. Perfect little cottage as a central point for a number of local tourist spots. Throughly enjoy our week stay.

This is a lovely little holiday home. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Lots of well thought extras e.g. dog throws for the sofas, we always take some but extra layers always add peace of mind. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery etc. Warm, cosy and comfortable. Lovely outside area, though the wet weather prevented us from using it I could easily imagine sitting out there for meals. The host, Tracy gave a lovely friendly and helpful greeting on arrival and we had good communication afterwards. Well placed to visit some of the ‘hotspots’ of Cornwall - Tintagel ( definitely go to Charlie’s for cream tea and lunch

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lowenek, attention to detail and comfort was 100% , very helpful and friendly host's, brilliant.

Absolutely perfect.

Great accommodation, lovely owners, nothing too much trouble. Ideal for Coco my Cavalier King Charles who soon made herself at home! Having the pub within a short walk was ideal as we were out all day and really didn’t want to cook!

Really well equipped. Great space, not cramped. Brilliant to have secure outdoor space for pet. Nice touches with little messages, covers for sofa and bags for bedding. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thankyou

As usual Tracy and John were wonderful hosts and the cottage has everything you could need and more. The garden area is secure so wonderful if you have a dog. The cottage is in a perfect location to go out and explore and the local pub is a short walk and very friendly. Had a wonderful stay and didn't want to leave.

This is a great property, we were very comfortable, We had two small old dogs and the garden was very secure and safe .

There was everything we needed and is an Ideal property for visiting places around and about. Close to the sea. If I had to find a negative, the bed was very hard for us, but we still want to return and we would take a travel topper in order that we would not be uncomfortable on the bed. Great holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was spot on. The owners were lovely people and provided everything we needed. The cottage itself was very comfortable and clean. There was fresh cornish cream tea( homemade scones by Tracy) for ourselves, and treats for the dog when we arrived. I would recommend staying here whole heartedly.

Lowenek is a lovely comfortable cottage.

It has everything you need and more. It has a fenced off patio, and a good sized field for walking the dog. We had a great holiday even though the weather wasn’t brilliant. The owners Tracy and John who live next door are very friendly. We would certainly recommend this cottage, and hopefully return in the not too distant future.

We arrived at Lowenek to find a beautifuly clean and well equipped cottage.

The location was superb, enabling us to relax when we wanted, or go out walking the coastal path. The dog walking area just behind the cottage was ideal for our 17 year old dog who can't walk too far now. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit North Cornwall.

The owners were lovely, nothing was too much trouble (they even offered to run to the shop for us when we were delayed getting there?) Lovely enclosed patio area and great field for the dogs. Great little touches such as tea coffee and sugar, milk and even treats for the dogs.. Would absolutely recommend

Lowenek was excellent property and we had a fantastic holiday ,and everything that was needed was there .

the bathroom was luxurious with under floor heating .All the little extras that were left for us by Tracey and John were very much appreciated . Our 2 dogs very much enjoyed their corniche holiday ,we would definitely use Lowenek again and would recommend it to others.

Lowenek is a lovely property in which to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of its location.

Well equipped, comfortable, clean and uncluttered which in itself removed any stress about potential damage or breakages as we had 2 well behaved but nonetheless excitable cockerpoo with us

Lovely cottage, comfortable, clean and very private.

Fully equipped kitchen, log burner, bath and shower. Dog friendly enclosed garden which is a fabulous sun trap and a big paddock for walking the dog nearby. Great location, not far from Port Isaac. Local pub within walking distance and a coop a short drive away. Highly recommended.

We booked last minute but couldn’t have been happier, the property was spotless, the owners couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. The cottage was stocked with everything you could possibly need and the location was fantastic, a short drive from most of the places we wanted to get to. Thank you for such a great holiday!

Perfect location for exploring Cornwall, especially Port Isaac and Padstow. John and Tracey were excellent and really helpful. Everything you need here for a comfortable stay with kids and dogs. Pub at the end of the road is decent enough, but everything else is a drive. St Kew Inn is fantastic and a short drive, as are the places in Port Issac and the 2 nearby farm shops. Pretty much all you need

A lovely property in a great location to visit local attractions.

The field was perfect for dog walking and enclosed patio/gravel area nice for chilling with the dog. Tracy and John were very approachable and helpful. We had a great holiday!

Fabulous property everything you would want.

The owners Tracy John are very helpful anything you need you only have to ask. Very peaceful and quiet with a field at the side of the cottage with a pond ideal for dog lovers. At the lane end there is a pub serving good meals, would highly recommend and shall be returning.

We had a great week at Lowenek.

The bungalow had everything we needed (and more) and the use of the field for walking the dog was brilliant. The owners made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. It is in a great location to visit places and was so nice to come back to such a lovely property and the outdoor patio area is a great place to have a cuppa (or something stronger) when you return. The Cornish Arms is a really nice pub and just a short walk down the Lane; seating inside and out depending on the weather. Would definitely recommend!

Had a fantastic stay at Lowenek, hosts live next door but are completely unobtrusive, friendly, lovely people.

Location is great as well, out in the countryside but only about 10 - 15 minutes from Wadebridge for supermarkets etc and with some lovely pubs including one at the end of the private drive, not to mention the abundance of beautiful walks from the door. What more could you ask for?

We had a week at the cottage and enjoyed every minute, plenty of room for dog walking outside of cottage, daily visits by Buzzards, plenty of beaches within easy reach.

The pub at the end of the road is dog friendly and the food is quite good, overall we had an excellent week and thank you to the owners for their preparations prior to us arriving at the cottage. Many thanks for a great week.
