Chimings is a light, airy, and contemporary bungalow resting in Rock, Cornwall.

With a secluded and enclosed, south-facing garden, and resting a walk from local amenities and the splendid sandy beaches at Rock, Daymer and Polzeath, Chimings offers a wonderful base for families and friends, accommodating up to six guests.

Recently refurbished and extended, Chimings is a warm and welcoming place to holiday, complete with an open-plan living space, with a plush sofa, large table, and a well-equipped kitchen, flooded with natural light through the patio doors; enjoy this attractive space to cook, eat, and socialise.

Carry the conversation into the sunny sitting room, with its roof lantern, woodburning stove, leather sofas and armchairs, or follow the mellow oak flooring, which runs through much of the property, towards the patio doors, reaching the pretty, back garden, where children and pets can safely play; views of lush Cornish countryside can be seen on the far horizon.

Visit Polzeath for the ultimate surfer's beach, ideal for all abilities with a fun holiday atmosphere, or take the ferry across the estuary to bustling Padstow and the Camel Trail, ending your time by sampling the famous sparkling wines at the Camel vineyard.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
