  • "Unfortunately we had no hot water for the first night of our stay this was resolved after several calls (that is another issue as the emergency number just takes you in a loop call with no human contact)when an engineer came to the property at 10."

30am the next day. However this delayed our plans and meant no one in the house could take showers that night or the next morning. Not a good start! We had also paid an extra £275 pounds for the hot tub which was also cold on the arrival night (Saturday) and then decided to turn itself off on Monday, again causing issues with contacting someone as it’s not an emergency issue but needed sorting. Later that day an engineer came to sort this and we had to wait again to use it. We only managed to talk to someone as we had a mobile number which we had been called on that was with someone from the office who was on call. If we hadn’t had this we would still be stuck in the telephone loop! The first man and lady we spoke to about the hot water were very helpful but couldn’t do anything more than get someone to us on the Sunday morning, the man we spoke to on Monday seemed very put out we had rung on the emergency phone for the hot tub not working and told us it wasn’t an emergency issue. It was however sorted the same day. Why is that Mobile number not given out as the emergency line. Also on Saturday evening I was asked by the lady what I wanted re having no hot water she asked if I wanted to move property, I didn’t as we had chosen the house to suit our needs but asked about compensation for the issue we had? She stated she couldn’t do that but I could lodge a complaint which I would like to do for compensation for both the hot water issue and the hot tub which I had payed extra for but lost 2 days use due to the above issues. Can you let me know how I do this please.
