  • “This property was exactly as described and more .”

Liked the thoughtful touches of tea sugar coffee milk etc and scones jam clotted cream made a lovely welcome .Property had everything you needed in it . Was in a great location 5 minutes from great views had a couple of lovely meals in a restaurant on the cliff top over looking the sea . We visited the Eden project Port Isaac where doc Martin was filmed both within an hour away . Wold definitely book through Sykes cottages again.

The property

Settled on the outskirts of the bustling town of Newquay, on the northern coast of Cornwall, is this delightful ground-floor apartment.

This property offers you the very best contemporary features combined with a bright and airy decor, most suitable for couples.

Be welcomed into the large open-plan living space with two white leather sofas (one reclines by the touch of a button) situated around the 55” Smart TV, there is a DVD player so you can choose from the selection of DVDs provided and enjoy a romantic movie night.

Behind this is a dining table and chairs which has seating for four and can be used to enjoy a romantic meal or use the provided board games (you are welcome to bring your own!) for those quieter evenings.

The kitchen has been fitted to a high-standard with pristine white units and sleek worktops providing all the appliances needed for cooking.

Once the evening draws to a close, retire to the king-size bedroom which comes with two chest of drawers for storing your personal belongings and benefits from the TV so you can enjoy your favourite morning shows from the comfort of your bed!

The family shower room has a large walk-in 'rain forest' shower so you can take a relaxing soak at the end of a tiring day.

During the summer months, throw open the patio door and let the cool breeze wash over the interior, before stepping out to the small enclosed terrace.

Here, you can dine alfresco or simply enjoy a cup of coffee whilst watching the sun rise or catching up with a good book.

The property also comes with a surf locker which is located by the entrance door.

This property is well-placed on the outskirts of Newquay, one of Cornwall's most popular seaside resorts and holds an abundance of tourist attractions.

You are within walking distance of Fistral Beach which is considered one of the largest surfing scenes in the whole of Cornwall and is perfect for those adventure seekers, or spend a quiet afternoon at Crantock Beach.

Make sure you visit Newquay Golf Club which has a challenging course and is suitable for beginners and professionals alike.

Animal lovers will delight in exploring Newquay Zoo, home to over 1,000 exotic animals, many of which are endangered.

Or venture towards the Blue Reef Aquarium to experience its underwater tunnels and spot the array of underwater creatures through the glass.

If you can tear yourself away from all of Newquay's finest features, further afield are the Pentire Point and St Agnes Heritage Coast AONBs for exploring.

3 Spyrys Heyl is the ultimate choice for a seaside break with your partner.
