  • "We stayed for a week, 6 adults and 2 dogs, and the cottage was perfect for us."

The size and layout, facilities it offered, cleanliness, garden, even the location, couldn't fault anything. Nick, the owner, was also very accommodating.

  • "We was very happy with this property very close to the beach path."

The little welcome pack left from Nick the owner was a very nice touch. All in all a very nice place would defo book again. Just 1 neg: having a gardener knocking at the door on Monday morning to attend the garden and cut the grass, waking acouple of us up, as we were travelling though sunday night and arrived at 2:30am Monday. Think could have had a message to notify before hand or on the info letter left on the table that gardener could be calling at some point. Think it could have been done on the saturday change over day.

Hi Graham So pleased you enjoyed your stay and everything was to your liking. Sorry the gardener woke you up he’s instructed to knock to let you know he’s there he’s very weather dependant and hard to fix to a day. However point taken Best wishes Nick Property Owner

  • "Highly Recommend Fistral Bay Cottage!"

The location of the cottage is fantastic, it’s situated in a quiet area but literally 5 min walk to the beach. The cottage has a homely feel, it’s well equipped, beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious. The garden is lovely, well kept and secure for the dogs. It has off road parking for 3 average cars and the neighbours were very friendly. Excellent communication with Nick (owner)! Thank you again Nick for the Welcome pack which was very generous and gratefully received! Will definitely stay here again!

  • "A lovely house, beautifully presented and well equipped."

A very clean, warm and comfortable base for a winter holiday within short walking distance of Fistral Beach, Coast Path and headland. Well maintained and enclosed garden with seating area and useful outside tap and small utility for dealing with wetsuits and / or bike storage. Pleased to find provision made for recycling. Welcome parking for 2/3 cars. Great support and communication from Nick, the Owner. Altogether a really enjoyable week in a high quality family property. Thanks Nick.

  • "Beautiful cottage with all a family needs for a relaxing break."

Well kept garden, lovely decor. Only minor issue was mirrors and glass doors hadn’t been cleaned and the towel quality and size were disappointing for the cost of the stay. Maybe vacuum in between sofa cushions too. We really did enjoy our stay would recommend Porth beach if you have little ones as it’s level and very safe. The area around the cottage is very peaceful but not in walking distance of the town. We would stay again.

  • "Excellent location, lovely, clean, cottage."

We were able to park three cars at the front. Walled garden is very private and great if you have a dog. Short walk to Fistral Beach. Quiet culdesac location. Highly recommended.

  • "We had a lovely stay in this cottage, a welcomed break in these times."

The cottage is very near to Fistral beach, approx. 10 min walk, although that entrance has lot of steps to the beach with a cafe enroute. For anyone where steps are an issue, you can continue on the sandy path to the other end of the beach (probably 15-20 min walk) where there were some shops & restaurants, as well as the lifeguard station. The location was spot on for us - nothing like a beautiful beach scene to make you rewind!! The cottage was better than expected; very roomy, comfy, plenty of facilities, lovely garden space too. We thought many aspects were well thought out, there was a little utility at the back door with hooks on the wall and an additional washing machine & fridge. We didn't require these but for a large group or those surfing - ideal. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

House was extremely well equipped with parking for 3 cars. Nice little touches with fresh flowers on arrival and a few goodies. Short walk to fistral beach and about 15 minutes to the heart of Newquay. Very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.

  • "This is a lovely cottage with a very short walk to Fistral Bay Beach, bars, restaurants & other facilities."

The place is very cosy, spotlessly clean, with everything you need away from home. Large walled garden, safe for all the family. Ample patio with table, chairs, umbrella & BBQ ready to enjoy eating outside. Four good size double bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. Off-street parking for the cottage just outside the front door. The owner is very hands-on & friendly, all leading to a very relaxed stay. Can't wait to return again, would highly recommend.

  • "Fistral Bay Cottage is a fabulous family holiday home."

Lovely and spacious with four great sized comfortable bedrooms (3 with TV's). We were lucky enough to have some decent weather and spent many hours enjoying the garden and outside decking area which was a little sun trap for most of the day. A really well laid out property, super clean, felt very safe and even had a hand sanitiser dispenser on the hall wall. We had a fantastic family break, great location and the host was always quick to reply to any messages. I would definitely recommend this accommodation - Thank you
