  • "Hi, we had a lovely 4 night stay."

    The views are amazing which helps contribute to a very relaxed and chilled stay. You can be in the waves on Fistral beach within a 10m walk and a 30m walk into the town centre. The apartment was very comfortable, bright and spacious and a few welcome treats on arrival was a nice touch. We had a couple of little issues on arrival but the host Louise was very responsive and had these issues resolved almost immediately. All in all a lovely stay and we will hope to be back soon

  • "The apartment was lovely and clean."

    The kitchen was full equipped. Loved the off street parking and the cage to put your wetsuits and body boards in. Great view of Fistral beach. The town centre was a 15 minute walk away with shops and restaurants. The only down side was the lift wasn't working, but we new this before arriving.

  • "The photo of the view doesn't do it justice."

    It blew me away. Even if you're not able to sit out on the balcony, you can enjoy the view from inside. The apartment is very modern and spacious. The 2nd bedroom is great also. You normally find that the 2nd bedroom is a bit of a compromise but I would've been happy with that one as the master. I was a little apprehensive about staying in Newquay but you are slightly out of it and Pentire has a classy feel. Luckily the derelict building (as seen on Streetview) behind it has gone and is currently being replaced with new apartments. There are restaurants on Fistral beach if you don't want to venture into the town centre which look really nice. However, the apartment is so nice and with a view like that, we were very happy eating in. I would recommend you shop at Morrisons on the way in. We did lots of coastal walks without getting the car out. You can short cut the headland both ways and pick up the coastal walk at Crantock onwards towards Porth Joke and Holywell Bay. You can also short cut and start a coastal walk from Lusty Glaze onwards towards Porth and Watergate. We would definitely recommend. We go to Cornwall every year and it's one of the best apartments we've stayed in.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Fistral Retreat, very comfortable and has everything you could think of."

    The views from the balcony are amazing. The bed was so comfy and it was so relaxing drifting off to sleep with the sound of the waves. Great communication from the property owners when we contacted them about a couple of issues that were no fault of theirs. We will definitely be booking to stay here again!

  • "Fabulous apartment overlooking fistral beach."

    Very luxurious and everything you need. Parking is a huge bonus. If you're a walker it's great, you can walk into Newquay. However if you have any type of mobility restriction, you will need to drive everywhere.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay, it’s the perfect location for Newquay, outside the busier town, but in walking distance and very close to the beach, golf and coastal walks."

    A great hub to explore the surrounding coastline. The flat itself is so open and well decorated, views from the second floor balcony are incredible. We loved the fresh decor, it really added to the experience. Facilities were all there, nothing we couldn’t find. The underground parking leaves you feeling safe, as on-street parking In Newquay can be competitive! The underground showers and surf cage make surfing and keeping the flat clean super easy, amazing idea! Beds were comfy, 3 toilets/ 2 bathrooms makes life easy. Louise was a great host, and responded quickly to any issues we had. The only improvement I would suggest is a bigger sofa in the lounge to snuggle up on as we ended up watching tv in bed instead. But the blue leather ones looks good and it’s easy clean for rental so understandable. Absolute Gem, loved this holiday.

  • "Beautiful apartment, stunning views."

    It looks exactly as per the photos online. Everything you need for a week away is available - just add shopping. Washer/dryer a must for getting beach towels ready for the next day, so glad it was there. Showers were good and having 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet is a great thing for a family trip. My son said his bed was super comfortable. There are no fans but the windows get exceptional airflow through the entire apartment, as it is the end of the building you can open windows on 3 sides if it is warm. Easy walking distance to fistral beach. The parking space took a little practice but I parked my Dad's 5 series BMW in it ok. We hope to come back another year as we had a wonderful week and were lucky with the weather too.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting eleven beaches and over seven miles of golden sand, three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a beachlovers and watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants, and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within a short drive.
