"What a house and the views were lovely."
Gill the owner was so welcoming and friendly - super responsive to messages. The best equipped house we have ever stayed in and perfect for 3 generations to spend time together but equally have their own space. The house is very spacious but the views from the balcony over the gannel are stunning - we enjoyed watching kayakers, horse riders and dog walkers paddling up and down depending on the tide. Literally a minute walk down to the beach and the amazing fern pit cafe is about a 15 minute walk away. Super quiet location and very close to pentire and fistral beach.

"We have just returned from a wonderful week at Tidal View, the house is absolutely stunning inside and out."
Every room is so spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of three balconies looking over the beautiful views of the river gannel. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in with everything you need and more.
The owner Gill is a lovely lady who speaks to you before you arrive and during your stay and is always contactable if you need to ask anything.
I would highly recommend Tidal View it is the best holiday rental we,v ever stayed in and wev been staying in Newquay for over 20 year. We hope to return very soon

"We had a wonderful stay!"
The house was very comfortable and really well equipped, making it easy to settle in straight away. It was perfect for our family — plenty of space to enjoy time together, but also room for everyone to have their own privacy when needed. The location is peaceful and quiet, and we especially loved the beach walks and costal path to Newquay town. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

"We had an amazing holiday at Tidal View."
Gill welcomed us on arrival and left us some lovely treats. The house is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. It was very spacious and modern with all home from home comforts. Only a 5 minute walk to the River Gannel, to walk the dog and a great place to paddle board when the tide is in on Crantock Beach. The area is very peaceful with Newquay only a 15-20 minute walk away.

"Just returned from a lovely week at Tidal View."
What a delight Gill the owner is, very responsive and easily contactable should you have any queries. The welcoming courtesy homemade scones,clotted cream, jam, orange juice and milk was lovely surprise. Beautiful views over the Gannel from this property, with extremely easy access to the estuary, just across the road.the house was perfect for our stay and relaxing on any of the verandas was beautiful. The front garden is a haven of super plants. Would recommend this property and i will be returning.

"We had the most wonderful stay at Tidal View."
The house itself is stunning, beautifully kept, and perfectly positioned with breathtaking views over the Gannel. It’s just a short stroll to Fistral, making it ideal for beach walks and sunsets. Jill greeted us on arrival with such warmth and friendliness, instantly making us feel at home. The freshly baked scones, served with cream and jam, were a thoughtful and delicious welcome treat. Every detail of our stay felt special, and we’re already planning our next visit.

"The house is lovely, very well equipped and in a great position with views of The Gannel Estuary, which is great for walking on at low tide or paddle boarding at high tide."
We met with the owner on arriving to provide information, which was nice.
The only negative point (although this was pointed out to us on arrival) is the decking at the back of the house being soft to walk on in places, so we kept away...wasn't too bad as the best views are at the front anyway. I assume this will be looked into in due course.

"We had such a fabulous time at Tidal View."
Gill was so welcoming and friendly, she didn't mither us and left us to it but was very responsive on text when we needed her. She even provided us with a bottle of milk and a sweet treat when we arrived. A perfect host and a lovely lady.
The house itself is beautiful - so much space, perfectly situated for walks with the dog and only a very short drive to some of the most stunning places in Cornwall. It has been so well thought through, there was everything you could possibly need for a holiday and even the short spells of rainy weather were no issue as it gave us opportunity to spend some time in our lovely accommodation. As a keen cook, the kitchen had every tool and utensil I could possibly need, which is unusual in my experience! We would love to come again next year. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"As a family of 4 with 2 older teens, Tidal View was absolutely perfect."
Everybody had their own space to disappear into, and when it came to family time, the heart of the property was perfect.
There was a comprehensive booklet on arrival telling us all of the timings for bin day and the things we could use in the house as well as lots of things to do in the area and places to eat.
We loved being near the estuary, and had the tide times been a little more favourable, we would have gone paddle boarding more often, thanks to the very easy access.
This was our first time here, but 7th time in Newquay, and we loved it (even if the weather didn't love us).
Given the opportunity, we would certainly book here again.

"Had a lovely 2 weeks at this property."
Fantastic views over the Gannell Estuary. Literally seconds across from the property to walk with the dog.
Clean, bright and very spacious.
Excellent facilities, Ninja airfryer and multicooker did all our cooking! The jacuzzi bath was lovely. Welcome scones jam and cream. Gillian the owner is lovely and easily contactable.
Extremely quiet neighbourhood.
The only negative for us (we both have creaky joints!) was the settee. It has seen better days and was so low that we really struggled to get up!
An excellent base and would thoroughly recommend.

"Great place, a couple of things just needed updating, like some of the rooms missing bulbs in lights, sofa is a tad worn out, but still very comfy."
Other than that, fantastic base to explore Newquay, great walks from the house, spacious, kitchen appliances you couldn’t ask for more really.

the location is perfect. The house is so spacious with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The views were amazing from the master bedroom, living room and kitchen over looking the Gannel. Gill (the owner) is lovely and made us so welcome. We will be booking this property again. It’s perfect for families.

"Tidal view has been such a wonderful base for our family holiday."
The location is perfect! You are right on the Gannel, so whether the tide was in or out we was able to enjoy it with the children and dog (Max).
We walked a few times to Newquay town center took about 20 mins but a lovely walk. Why drive and pay parking, right?!
The house itself is spacious and very generous with toilets and showers, so no arguing who goes first.
The best part for us was the lounge balcony we spent many afternoons chilling in the sunshine after a day full of fun on the beach. Kitchen has all you need to get the family meals on the table.
Without a doubt we’ll be returning.

"Tidal View is in a great location for Fistral beach."
It’s very spacious and as we were really lucky with the weather the bi-fold doors in the living room which open out onto the balcony were open all the time which was brilliant.
The bedroom downstairs has it’s own small living room / kitchenette so is ideal if you have a teenager who wants their own space sometimes, the TV isn’t a smart TV at the moment but Gill (the owner) mentioned this was something she was looking to update. The bedroom upstairs is huge! Gill is lovely and checked in to make sure everything was ok and came to see us near the end of our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

"My family of 5 visited this Newquay property, Tidal View, for a week at the end of July and we already wish we could return."
The property itself is perfectly situated in Newquay and was even closer to the water’s edge than we thought - you can access the estuary right opposite and we walked to Fistral beach many times. The views were incredible from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom and really made the stay feel special. The property is decorated to a high standard and feels very welcoming and homely. There is more space than the pictures suggest - we were really impressed and loved our time here. We would love to return and would recommend Tidal View to anyone holidaying in Cornwall. Location is convenient (close to shops, beaches, and the centre of Newquay), provided beautiful views and the house offers a perfect stay for families looking to spend time together.

"Tidal View is in a very quiet location with a fantastic view of the River Gannel."
The balconies were brilliant and a great place to relax in a morning and on return from you day out.
We were lucky with the weather and it was great to sit out and relax to make the most of the wonderful scenery.
Gill (the owner) was very welcoming on our arrival and kept in touch prior to us arriving and checked in to make sure everything was ok.
Thank you for your review. You were the first guests to stay at Tidal View so there were a few teething problems, a miscommunication with the cleaning company which was unfortunate.
So pleased you enjoyed your stay.
