Carolyns Cottage

Lovely cottage and location was fantastic.

The owners are local and nothing was to much trouble reported a tv was not working and both TV's were replaced within the hour, couldn't ask for better service than that. Have stayed in another cottage they own previously and that was just as clean and nice

This cottage is traditional just how cottages should be we loved everything about it.

And was a change from the usual modern living. I would have paid double just for that view each morning it’s the best view on the coast. Easy access to the beach every morning and evening walks. Cafes shops and beach bar right on the door step. Beach and surf equipment to hire too. And the local attractions are on point. We will be back and it’s worth every penny the kids didn’t complain once within the 4 days we were here. Cottage has everything you need and clean Thankyou

Whole property very tired and in need of update.

All decking broken and dangerously slippery when wet and in need of replacement. Bathroom old and dark wooden fittings with loose toilet seat. No extractor fan so floor stayed wet and damp. No light for shaving either. Towels mixed colours and too small, should all be gleaming white. Kitchen knives loose (although blunt) rather than in a block for safety. No baking trays. Main double bedroom too dark and sheets that didn't match throughout. Again why not white? TV's both need updating with smart TV's as a priority. Reception was poor with flickering screen. Smelly on entry, probably due to carpets which are not ideal in a property that allows dogs, needed cleaning. The varying floor levels were a constant worry so not ideal for children at all. Having said all of that location was excellent with easy beach access and walks in the dunes behind. Praa Sands is a great location but we will not return to this property.

This was the second stay this year.

As with the last stay the cottage was excellent, clean and welcoming.we take out dogs with us they absolutely love it. The vuie of the sea from the lounge window is wonderful. We met the owner she was lovely so friendly and helpful full.we intend to stay again next year.the only slight thing for me was the settee was a little low for me but I managed with the dining chair with a cushion. Over we had a lovely stay for us everything was just right. Definitely going back next year.

Very relaxing. Really appreciated the milk and biscuits which were there when we arrived
