  • "A beautiful clean place to stay in, it was well equipped with everything you needed, they even left a fresh pint of milk."

    The couple were very welcoming and also came to see if everything was ok after my first night stay, which was very nice too, a lovely peaceful place to be and amazing views. Only a small drive to get to places the beach etc.

    Spotlessly clean & equipped with everything you needed. Great shower & very spacious bathroom. Gorgeous views & nearby to so many attractions you didnt spend hours driving everywhere. Very friendly owners. Stars at night were awesome and beautiful sunset each night, we didn't want to leave.

    Seems almost everywhere we wanted to go was within a twenty minute drive - usually much less! Very friendly helpful hosts, even though they’re busy with the farm! Would definitely recommend, thanks for everything!

  • "Amazing stay at Lloyd!"

    Stephanie and Paul really have thought of everything to make staying here as comfortable as possible. The accommodation is fully equipped, the kitchen had all pots pans crockery cutlery glassware and accessories you could need, all towels provided, a fan and parasols for the heat and thick fluffy blankets for the cold. There were games in the cupboard, an TV, WiFi, and even dog bowls and a dog towel provided which was a lovely touch. Stephanie and Paul were both super friendly and on hand for anything we might need. The views are stunning and we were lucky enough to have some spectacular sunsets. The location is so peaceful and relaxing, it is perfect for travelling around South West Cornwall. We had an amazing week here and will definitely be back again.

    Accommodation was lovely, lovely location, clean and tidy, and we had everything we needed for a good get away. The hosts were even able to provide us with a bbq to use for one evening of our stay!

  • "We would both love to thank the hosts for making this ideal getaway pod available for all to use, as a middle aged couple we ended up relaxing with minimal effort after a few very packed walking days , there was nothing more the hosts could do to make our stay better, the pod was so well equiped and the veiws were perfect."

  • "Having stayed in several pods in the past ranging from the very basic bring your own camp bed to cabins and being a newer built pod we initially unsure on what to expect."

    I'm happy to say Loyd was best we've seen! Fully furnished to a high standard with ample space in the bathroom and shower. Kitchen was well prepared with everything you could need for a short stay. The pod itself is ideally situated overlooking picturesque farm fields, with a lovely outdoor furniture set to enjoy the evening sun. A big thank you to the hosts for going out thier way to look after us during our stay, we thoughly enjoyed every minute!

NEWLYN

Penzance 1.2 miles; Marazion 6.6 miles; St Ives 8.9 miles.

Conveniently situated within a five minute drive from both Penzance and Newlyn, and the beautiful scenery of Mount’s Bay. Penzance is an old market town, with many stunning Regency and Victorian buildings. Chapel Street has many buildings of historical significance, such as the Admiral Benbow, the Union Hotel and the Egyptian House. Penzance has the beautiful sub tropical Morrab Gardens and the saltwater Art Deco Jubilee Pool, situated at the eastern end of Penzance Promenade, which has numerous seating areas, food stalls and a pebble beach. At the western end of the Promenade, just a short walk along the Beach Road is Newlyn, one of the largest fishing ports in England. Newlyn is clustered around it’s harbour, which includes an 800 year old quay from whence the Mayflower departed for the New World. Newlyn is famous for it’s School of Art and its copper, as well as its traditional pubs and wonderful sea food restaurants.A walk or cycle
along the level coast path from Penzance takes you to Marazion to the east, or from Newlyn, takes you to Mousehole to the west, An abundance of wildlife and flora can be enjoyed along both, with basking sharks, dolphins and grey seals often seen. The Cornish coast is renowned for surfing, and Penwith offers some splendid beaches on which to enjoy this sport as well as sunbathing, swimming and fishing for sea bass. Mounts Bay offers visitors a perfect opportunity to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings.
