As a family of 2 Adults, 2 Children and 1 dog.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It was a lovely remote location which suited us perfectly. Upon arrival we were impressed with how clean the lodge was. We stayed at No 23 which was compact but had everything you need. It felt private because of how the lodges are positioned and never heard any of our neighbours. We would definitely book to stay here again as we felt it was reasonably priced. The only thing I would mention is that the lodge has clearly had an issue previously with a leak as you couldn’t shut the bathroom door without having to lock it and the main bedroom door was a very tight fit. Both easy fixes for facilities. Also whilst the decking was enclosed it could do with a bit of additional fencing by the hot tub. A small dog or a very determined dog could easily escape through the gap.

When we got to the site.

It was small with a little duck pound. No ducks. Cabin looked nice and clean. We then went out to explore. Walked the dog had food out nice. But when we got back and settled down with patio doors open. The dog started to bark. When my partner looked out to the decking. She saw 2 rats just walking past the hot tub. Called the dog inside. Every day there were rats calm as you like walking on the decking. Our holiday was destroyed there and then. No eating on decking or making any food in cabin.
