“The studio was spotless when we ...”

The studio was spotless when we arrived, with gift of wine and chocolates. It had all the necessary facilities that we required for our stay, the kitchen was very well equipped, and as we ate in most of the time made cooking and preparing meals easy. David and Julia were great hosts and were always on hand, with help and advice for our outings. Would highly recommend Chapei Green Studio to everyone.

About the location

POLGOOTH

Mevagissey 5 miles; St. Mawes 18 miles; Truro 14 miles.

With its history rooted firmly in tin mining, the village of Polgooth is now a quiet settlement on the outskirts of St Austell, frequented by visitors enjoying the area's outstanding countryside. Just 3 miles from the sea, the village is close to several lovely beaches, and the south-west coastal path also runs close by. The area has a host of visitor attractions, with the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Tall Ships Harbour at Charlestown all within a 15 minute drive. The quaint fishing harbour at Mevagissey, with its passenger ferry across the bay to Fowey, is just 5 miles away, and the beautiful Roseland Peninsula with the villages of St. Mawes and St. Just-in-Roseland lies just a little further. Enjoy a coastal walk and take in the wonderful views, spend a day on the beach, or visit one of the numerous attractions close by. A fantastic location, any time of the year.
