The cottage and its location were absolutely stunning!

Louise and Lee the owners are so helpful and accommodating. For my wife , myself and poppy our mini schnauzer it was perfect and we are definitely going back . Thank you for a fabulous holiday , even the the weather was fantastic which made it even better . Mark and Jacqueline Dean

We had a great stay at Lavender Cottage.

It was bright, clean and inviting, a great base for exploring West Cornwall and a wonderful peaceful retreat away from some of the bustling towns around. The setting is superb with a nearby dog walk on the Porkellis Moor. Inside the cottage Louise and Lee have done a superb job setting up the cottage with everything you need for a great holiday

An excellent cottage, it was very clean all the amenities one could wish for.

The location was very quiet and with easy access to The Lizard, Lands End and all between. Would love to stay there again.

Loved our stay at Lavender cottage is set in countryside with great views, access to the cottage is excellent for anyone who has mobility issues,inside all new appliances made our stay fuss free,our hosts made us feel very welcome,they have a large collection of rescue animals in a field close by they were fascinating to watch and photograph,we hope to visit again.

We had such a lovely stay at Lavender Cottage.

Lou and Lee are incredibly warm hosts — nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel really welcome. The cottage itself is beautifully built (by Lee!) and decorated, and the log burner and huge shower made for a really comfortable and relaxing stay. I’ve been staying in different places over the past few months whilst waiting for a house purchase to complete, and this has definitely been one of our very favourites. Its central location also makes it a great base for those on holiday to explore all of West Cornwall. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again — thank you both so much!

Lavender Cottage is a great place to stay in. All your hard work to create a cosy holiday home, has definitely paid off. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. You were both so very helpful whenever we needed it. A great suggestion to go to St Ives on the train from St Erth. We even had some good weather in February. Perfect. Lynne, Paul and Millie xx

We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely, homely Lavender Cottage. Very peaceful and a good night’s sleep. Credit to you both, for all your hard work making the place a joy to stay. It was nice seeing your animals. Great having the Bus stop right outside, able to go to both Helston & Truro. We had a lovely week even though mixed weather. Hope to come back sometime. Carol & Roy. By far one of the best places I’ve stayed at.

Super cosy and has everything you need - the shower is luxurious! Louise and Lee are really lovely as well and very accommodating. I absolutely love staying at Lavender Cottage and I cannot wait to go back.

A really lovely place to stay.

The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is very peaceful and the cottage was very warm and cosy. We tended to cook for ourselves and there is most things you would need. The coffee machine is one that uses the little pods, not a cafetière - the information just says a coffee machine. We would definitely return next time we are looking to go to Cornwall.

We genuinely felt that it was important to them that we enjoyed the holiday. The cottage was comfortable, cosy and well decorated. There were lovely touches throughout When it stated dog friendly it truly was. . There were lovely walks for Cooper our Retreiver and he enjoyed his special biscuits. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay

Lavender cottage is a home from home, it has everything you could possibly want, it’s warm and really comfortable.

Everything is finished to a high standard and you couldn’t want for more. It is peacefully and a little sun trap when the suns shining .The hosts Louise and Lee are amazing and very knowledgeable about place to go and things to see. The animals are all adorable, especially Moose the horse and the beautiful alpacas..I would highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed, if we could have extended our stay we would have..We didn’t want to leave and have rebooked for next year

Really enjoyed our stay at Lavender cottage, in peaceful countryside setting situated in an ideal location to explore southwest cornwall,our hosts lou and lee made us feel very welcome,even being kissed by a llama!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lavender Cottage!

The cottage was well finished and thoughtfully designed, with ample space for us and everything we needed was there, including for our little pooch who had all his needs accommodated for also! Louise was brilliant and nothing was too much to ask. Learning the story behind Lavender Cottage and meeting the animals was super lovely also! The location is ideal for visiting the many beautiful spots around Cornwall. We loved our time staying here and will be sure to visit again in the future :)

Would loved to have stayed longer!

The cottage was perfect for us, it's in a quiet location on a small holding and the hosts are lovely. It looks small, but this is a spacious airy cottage that is beautifully furnished and comfortable.

Exceptional.

Made so welcome from the start, nothing was to much trouble for the fantadtic owners Lou & Lee. The accomodation, was so clean & well equiped everything you could need during your stay had been so thought through. We brought our dog with us and again was made to feel so welcome, and she settled so quickly. Although Lou & Lee have several lovely animals, we never heard any noise, and we all slept so well in the peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back ! If you want a relaxing break away from it all, this is the number 1 place to stay. Everything was perfect :)

Louise and her husband are the best: friendly, helpful and welcoming!

It was cosy, toasty warm and utterly relaxing.

The cottage is well equipped and beautifully presented with lovely thoughtful touches like fresh eggs, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk which is very much appreciated after a long drive! It is perfectly situated in a quiet, rural location with easy access to either coast or moor. The hosts who live next door are so very warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It’s delightful to wake up and see all the resident animals each day and they are obviously very well trained as you never hear them!!
