    Would definitely return. On the down side there was a light fitting on the ceiling of the dining room that was hanging out and occasionally had very flickery lighting in there.

  • "This place definitely has a damp issue."

    Down stairs smells damp and up stairs paint is flaking off the walls and ceiling damp in the dining room also. We had to run the heating on high most days to help with the issue. We couldn't use the dining room as one of the recessed lights was hanging out of the ceiling and when you switched them on they flickered so not safe to use. Over priced for accommodation of that standard only positives was location and parking.

  • "A little tired in places, and there is an underlying mould, damp smell throughout the downstairs."

    The wood panelling I would assume is hiding some real foundation problems. Shower weak, and front garden overgrown and in need of some attention. A good spot though, just overpriced for the condition of property.

  • "Ideal location which was really comfortable but lacking kitchen facilities if you want to cook, such as kitchen knives, and no cupboard space to store groceries."

    Also property was a bit tired and could do with a bit of tlc, such as window handles/locks a bit rickety. There was also no airer indoors to hang items which cannot be tumble dried. Saying that, it may be common for the area but the house did feel very damp and nothing tended to dry indoors anyway. All of this is easily overlooked as the location was amazing and its great to have 2 parking spaces in a place like Port Isaac.

  • "We were only provided with a tiny bit of kitchen towel and one toilet roll."

    We also had a blackfly infestation for our first three days which was quite disgusting and stressful to deal with. The corner sofa is a bit tired and in need of replacement and an additional chair in the bay window should be provided. The conservatory is a bit of a strange space as it only houses the tumble dryer with no seating. We were also unable to get into the cottage until 415 and considering we were asked to leave by 9:30 in the morning this didn’t get us off to a good start. There is a lack of storage for food available in the kitchen and dining area. And we were only provided with two dishwasher tablets which again is a little bit disappointing.

  • ""Siamo stati benissimo!"

    Il cottage è favoloso, super attrezzato, confortevole, pulito, luminoso, con posto auto privato, giardino e vista mare. Ci sono lavatrice e asciugatrice che, per chi viaggia con un bambino come noi, sono comodissime. Il supermercato è a 2 minuti a piedi. E il centro del villaggio a 5 minuti di cammino. Ciò che abbiamo amato di più è stata la vista sulle scogliere e su Tintagel e in generale l’atmosfera cozy. Il villeggio di Port Isaac e i suoi dintorni sono un incanto. Grazie ai proprietari che ci hanno fatto trovare un regalo di benvenuto con prodotti locali. Torneremo l’anno prossimo! Grazie!" (“We had a great time!” The cottage is fabulous, super equipped, comfortable, clean, bright, with private parking space, garden and sea view. There is a washing machine and dryer which, for those traveling with a child like us, are very convenient. The supermarket is 2 minutes walk away. And the village center is a 5 minute walk away. What we loved most was the view of the cliffs and Tintagel and the cozy atmosphere in general. The village of Port Isaac and its surroundings are enchanting. Thanks to the owners who made us find a welcome gift with local products. We will be back next year! Thank you!)

  • "Excellent property, the owners have gone that extra mile in providing everything you would have in a family home."

    Only one little problem the one oven control seemed to be not working.

  • "Really excellent cottage in a great location."

    We stay at Port Isaac at least once a year and this is the nicest cottage we have stayed in. Clean, bright and spacious. Internet connection very good also Would highly recommend

Before entering the home, take advantage of the two off-road parking spaces, which are highly sought after in the area.

The stylish sitting room, which includes a plush corner sofa and a media wall with a sleek electric fire, will greet you, offering the ideal place to relax with a good book while the Cornish coastline serves as a backdrop.

Enter the fully-equipped kitchen to prepare delectable meals and keep up with laundry before congregating in the dining area or heading outside for an alfresco arrangement.

The three well-appointed bedrooms include a ground-floor single, a double, and a king-size with TV, the latter of which features breath-taking beachfront views.

A sleek bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bath is included in the house to accommodate everyone's tastes.

When you're ready to start exploring Port Isaac, by foot reach a selection of convenience stores, Fresh From The Sea restaurant, and Outlaw's New Road eatery—both of which use the mouth-watering, fresh produce—that’s right on your door.

Take a trip down to Port Gaverne Beach and ascend to Portwenn View for a better view of the area, before unwinding on Polzeath Beach's expansive, golden sands.

In the town of Padstow, embark on a Padstow Sealife Safari excursion, explore Hawker's Cove, or construct sandcastles, have a swim, and cool off in Trevone Bay's refreshing, turquoise water.

Before returning home in time for sunset, round up your holiday with a tour of Tintagel, which is home to the ruins of Tintagel Castle, the exclusive cove of Merlin's Cave, and The National Trust Bagalow walking route.

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
