  • "Lovely home but in need of some TLC."

    Found dirty clothing behind a chest of drawstring when checking property on leaving. Parking ok for most vehicles but not our mpv van.very grumpy neighbour when parking on the road! Problem getting out of parking spaces as cars park opposite the drive!Steep staircase needs to be mentioned in description and the top of the stairs dangerous for toddlers.Stairgate would be handy.Would book again but for the cost things like pipes banging and other issues need to be addressed. Good location and lovely coffee shops close at hand.

  • "Lovely comfortable house with excellent facilities and good quality fixtures and fittings."

    Very steep staircase which is not shown on the photos however, so be aware, particularly for elderly relatives and children. Just two little points. The key safe is extremely unreliable. We arrived and could not get into the house and so had to call for maintenance from John Bray. The safe needs replacing. Secondly, the toilet brushes were very dirty and also need replacing. But it is a great property in a superb spot with good parking. The beds are a dream, the kitchen is beautiful and every room is comfortable. Despite the tiny moans, we would book again.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Tre Lowen, the location was fantastic and the house definitely met our requirements."

    The parking for 4 cars and that most bedrooms had en-suite facilities was perfect for us. There was a slight issue upstairs with it being such a hot week and opening windows (rear bedroom and en-suite) but this didn’t detract from our holiday. We’d love to stay again in this beautiful house.

  • "There was no hot water in the kitchen for washing up, could not open the majority of windows, would be handy to have had an extra blanket for beds as first couple of nights were chilly,tiolet cleaner would be handy, other than that fantastic house not far to the harbour, a very well stocked shop near by and a great little village would definitely visit again!"

  • "Great house, we all (family and friends including our German friends) had a lovely time celebrating my 70th birthday."

    The house was in a great location with easy walks to local grocery shop, village, pubs, beach etc. The property had plenty of parking which is a great bonus. The only down side was a couple of issues, dishwasher stopped working, one of the heated towel rails not working. We reported it but was not resolved while we were there. We hope it’s all sorted now. Friday morning I was trying to get hold of the management office to report a couple of other issues but no one answered the phone which was frustrating as we were trying to vacate the property on time. I ended up phoning the emergency man who asked the office to phone me back, which they did promptly.

  • "Fantastic property in great location."

    Wonderful that 3 bedrooms have en suite and a family bathroom in addition if you have children. Also have separate play room with TV for children or an adult quiet room. Everything is in the property they have thought of it all. It’s a 10 from us and we certainly would recommend the property, especially if you want space and own en suite

  • "We loved our stay here (our daughter asked us to buy the house)."

    Everything in the house is excellent quality, even down to the bed linen. The house has everything you need for a great stay. Large parking spot, location is brilliant and lovely neighbours. The only thing we found an issue was how bright it was in the front bedroom of a morning. Would recommend bringing an eye mask. Other than this very minor issue I can't fault the house at all.

  • "We had a fabulous stay at Tre Lowen over the May half term."

    The property is in a great location. We were able to explore the local area by foot and a short drive got us to some of our favourite beaches. The house was large and well equipped with the benefit of private parking. The only thing that let us down slightly was the British Weather.

  • "Superb accommodation within easy walking distance of the village."

    Extremely well equipped with quality linen, crockery and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. The house is very spacious and well kept - can't fault this excellent property! Lovely, welcoming pub in the village, Cornish Cove Tearooms are a real treat, small well stocked supermarket a short walk away & a pretty coastline to walk along. John Bray were very professional from start to finish - their customer service was second to none! Wouldn't hesitate to use them, & this property, again 5*

  • "Really lovely property."

    It has everything you need and more. A lot of house and space for your money. Lots of parking which is a real bonus. Really well situated. Will definitely book again. My only minus (and it's not a big issue) is the front bedroom, which we used as the view was lovely, hasn't got any hanging space for clothes or a mirror. I had to go to the back bedroom. Fine for us as we were mainly on our own but may be a bit inconvenient if all rooms are being used.

  • "Lovely home that is spacious and in a lovely location."

    We especially found it helpful that it was located round the corner from a co-op which saved us from unnecessary driving. It is very child friendly place which for us wasn’t needed and sometimes was a bit annoying as it had a parental pin on the TV so we could only watch children films during the day (this was a Christmas/winter break). Also an outside light would have been helpful so we could see where our dog pooed when it got dark. Other than this it was great and we would recommend, and perhaps visit again.

Tre Lowen is a charming property situated in the idyllic fishing village of Port Isaac, Cornwall.

Upon arrival, step into Tre Lowen and be welcomed by a homely atmosphere; get acquainted with the sitting room with a plush velvet sofa, a Smart TV for movie nights and a bay window to admire the views.

For those who need a quiet space to catch up on work or check emails, there’s a study off the lounge which is all set up with monitors so that all you need to do is to plug in your laptops.

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
