Landers Field

Very comfortable and well equipped house in a lovely location, which was perfect for our family get together to celebrate my 70th birthday year.

Ages ranged from 16 to 78 and there was plenty of room for everyone to find their ‘space’. We appreciated the supply of board games which everyone enjoyed. Padstow is a lovely town too, and the ferry across the estuary is convenient and fun. A good week enjoyed by all.

Absolutely wonderful week at Landers Field!

It is a very spacious, superbly equipped and comfortable property! The heated pool is super and the outside space perfect with wonderful electric shade canopies. The children's indoor play area is delightful. The selection of kitchen dishes and cooking equipment/utensils much appreciated. We loved the food waste disposal machine too. Just three things to note: 1. At check in on arrival the John Bray rep didnt do as I asked (we've had trouble before in another property) which was to check the hot water was on..... so that night we all had cold showers. 2. Something to carry washing from the utility to the washing line outside would be helpful (plastic laundry basket)! 3. The gas bbq wasn't advertised on the listing and it took several phone calls and wait time to Sykes Cottages 2 weeks before arrival to establish that there was indeed a bbq....a bit annoying that you can't call the John Bray Rock office directly.

A fantastic house with all the facilities you could want.

Bedrooms are all comfy and of a good size. Perfect for several families to spend time together. John Bray handled our booking very professionally and this is the second time we have used them.

We had a 5 star experience at Landers Field and we had a great holiday.

The weather was disappointing, but there was so much to do on the Property, Swimming Pool and Games Room, Piano, that no-one was bored. However, it was disappointing that there was a problem with the Pool cover on Saturday afternoon, and this could not be fixed until Monday.

Our stay at Landers Field was amazing, made only more so by the wall to wall sunshine and hot temperatures that we were lucky to enjoy.

The property has everything you need or could wish for. It is immpecably maintained, it has been thoughtfully furnished and the space works well for groups of different ages. Two dishwashers is just genius for such large groups and meant that when cooking, everything was sorted in one go! The fridge and ice machine were also greatly appreciated. Could maybe do with a couple more chairs/loungers around the pool for the whole group to enjoy, but apart from that the location is just perfect. The beach is a short 10 minute walk away and local shops are a few minutes drive. Butcher, Baker, local shop, fish and chips and Pizza all within easy reach. Thank you for sharing your property.
