  • "The house is in a wonderful location and very comfortable."

We would love to stay again. We did find that the crockery and cutlery was all a bit dirty and we had to wash everything before use. It may be that the dishwasher didn't work properly on an occasion. It is not something that overly bothered us though. Overall we had a fantastic week and were so fortunate with the weather!

Thank you so much for your comments. We love hearing just how much you enjoyed your stay! Hopefully we can welcome you back again in the future. We will keep an eye on the dishwasher! - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

We have just had a lovely week there despite the weather not being the best.

  • "We've stayed at the property many times."

All good apart from some minor attention needed. Shower holder in the main bathroom is starting to break up as the plastic is old and brittle. Cold water tap in same room needs fixing as the flow rate is v.v. small. Very happy overall, great holiday.

Thanks for letting us know. Showerhead and taps have now been replaced' Sorry for any inconvenience Property Owner

  • "We had another lovely stay, unfortunately (and this is not the owners fault and out of his control) but the building work is still going on next door leading to noise from 6."

45am in the morning, radios and angle grinders, cement mixers,so on the days other than the weekend and bank holiday we were deafened and unable to sit and enjoy the view in peace. Also next door had a few girls staying and they decided to stay up laughing and chatting until 5.50am, which meant no sleep, accompanied by the farm having a very noisy wedding. No quite as relaxing as other times we have stayed! I do not wish this to be published, just relayed to the owner!

Even better in person. We all said 'wow!' when we came through the kitchen and round to see the view out onto the sea from the back of the house. We loved our week here, despite bad weather it was a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable and homely. We will be back! Thank you.

The views are outstanding across the bay and the local pubs and restaurants are within walking distance (2 minutes to the pub). Comfortable, homely and spacious- perfect for a beach holiday. Thank you.

  • "We have stayed at Little Strand a few times now and love it, having said that there was dog poo left from the previous holidaymakers dog (this was reported as we did not want the blame) and also the outside area, patio, was covered in sycamore leaves and had not been prepared for incoming guests (also a bit worrying if you have a dog like ours that is prone to eat leaves they are poisonous!"

Also the orange berry. The are was very untidy!

Curtains are too thin as let light in. Main bed very creaky! Shame so much building work nearby as started very early and so noisy.

The price has gone up substantially since our previous stays! Service from Sykes was not good as has already been explained (wifi code and call back re problem to Surrey home instead of mobile).

  • "We loved staying at Little Strand."

The house is really comfortable and careful consideration has been given to storage space for guests belongings in both the kitchen area and in the bedrooms. We couldn't fault it and loved the fact that it felt like and is a family home and not just a rental property. We took games/puzzles with us for rainy days and found a heap of games already in the cottage which will be a bonus for any future visits. It is certainly one of the nicest holiday houses we have ever rented and if we could take it at all over any school holiday periods we would jump at the chance. I shall be keeping an eye on the website for cancellations.
