  • "The property was spacious but needs updating."

    Property could have been cleaner. The two bunk bed rooms are not suitable for older children this should be pointed out! The outside furniture needs updating.

    A brand new kitchen was installed in this property last April, and the utility area was also updated at the same time. It’s freshly painted and up to date. The white outside furniture is clean, robust and functional. We do not feel it is sustainable or environmentally friendly to replace something just because it is not on trend. I’m sure in a few years time the white furniture will come back into fashion as everything seems to! Our teenage children sleep very happily in the bunk beds. Property Owner

The property

A desirable mid terrace holiday home set in the glorious seaside town of Rock. This stylish property offers outstanding accommodation for family and friends in North Cornwall with reverse level accommodation. On the first floor is a delightful open plan living area with wonderful views of the camel estuary, a well-appointed kitchen perfect for rustling up delicious meals, a spacious dining area and a lovely sitting area extending out onto the large balcony to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

A twin and bunk bedroom are set on the first floor sharing a bathroom.

Down the stairs are two bedrooms a super king and bunkbed room.

A utility with a shower room is set on the ground floor with a patio area ideal for a spot of relaxing whilst enjoy the glorious views. This property is conveniently located just off the waterfront with the beach, sailing club, ski school a stone throw away. Spend your days on the lovely sandy beach or on the water trying out many of the watersports there are on offer.

At low tide you can stroll along the beach to the calm clear waters of Daymer Bay, take a dip, explore the rock pools or sit back and relax on the sand.

At high tide there is a wonderful coastal footpath to explore the neighbouring coves with panoramic views.

Wadebridge is the nearest town which is a 6.2 mile drive it offers three supermarkets, local independent shops, a leisure centre and a cinema as well as the camel trail, explore on foot or bicycle home to many species of wildlife. Slipway 10 offers the ultimate family base for a seaside retreat.

The Slipway properties are all located at the bottom of Rock, on the other side of the road from the Rock Sailing club slipway.  There are three terrace rows of houses that alll have South facing aspects and balconies and offer a perfect spot to have family groups rent multiple properties so each family can be in the same place as their friends but also have some space and time to themselves..

Padstow 1.5 miles via ferry; Polzeath 2.8 miles; Wadebridge 6.2 miles.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
