  • "Lovely property to which we have returned year after year."

Great views over the estuary. Wonderful to sit on the balcony with an evening drink. Ideal location for Rock beach. Not the poshest property in town, but well maintained and great value.

  • ""We had a lovely stay in this well appointed and perfectly located house."

The shower temperatures are rather temperamental but that’s the only downside!"

  • "I think it is unacceptable that the beds were so uncomfortable that none of us have slept well at all all week."

The mattresses are obviously old ones from another house, our one had a huge dip in it. Our 70 year old mother had to sleep on the sofa as the other mattresses were so old and uncomfortable. We all have bad backs now Slipway is a great location. The living room is comfortable and the kitchen has lots of utensils and cookware. The shower pressure is terrible. The other shower is not as advertised with no fixings. The floor was dirty on our arrival.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your stay at Slipway 16. We have passed your comments to the owner regarding the beds. The issue with the shower water pressure and fixings have been passed to the maintenance team. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you during your stay.- John Bray Cornish holidays on behalf of the owner Property Owner

  • "16 Slipway is a lovely place to stay, especially if you are a small family or just two of you."

Don’t expect everything to be brand new but It is well equipped and comfortable enough. And the view from the open plan living space and balcony is beyond fabulous. Parking is good (top tip: use back door for loading and unloading - and avoid a lot of steps!)

  • "Really enjoyed our holiday."

Great location and well maintained property. The only issue we had was the fact that bed linen and towels were not included which was was very inconvenient.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback for this property. Whilst we understand your frustration, It is out of John Brays hands when it comes to linen being provided. We are always working with owners to improve the service we all give. John Bray on behalf of the owner. Property Owner
