  • "We had a really nice stay."

    It is really conveniently located and around 5 mins from the sea albeit down a big hill. The property itself is modern and clean but quite dark. Upon arrival there was a car blocking the garage which meant we had to knock on some doors but that was resolved quickly. The garage is quite tight to get into.

  • "Our comments are not on the property, it was really really lovely and well equipped, apart from it would have been nice to have one loo roll after a long journey, prior to our on line delivery ( we did leave one for your next guests)."

    But on the state of the rubbish downstairs, it smelled, and therefore the entrance was not really welcoming, I have taken some pictures if you would to take this up with the council as I know it is not within the owners control

  • "The decor of Dream achieved was really lovely, each room was done to a very high standard."

    The kitchen had almost everything you could want, all we would add is a decent cheese grater, some scissors and maybe leave more than two dishwasher tablets (we don’t have a dishwasher at home so would never need to buy any ourselves). The bathroom was decent, nice shower. I would only note that there was no toilet roll holder to hand so ended up keeping the loo roll on the top of the cistern- maybe a free standing holder would be good? Bedrooms - very comfortable beds, decent amount of storage. We struggled with it not being dark enough to sleep - we would suggest a blackout screen maybe? The lights from the courtyard outside were shining through the vertical blinds. Living area - fantastic, we loved the addition of the games! WiFi was good and smart tv was good. What an amazing coffee table! It was great to have the garage for the car, we hate worrying about parking in St Ives so that was a massive bonus for us. We didn’t love the area leading up to the apartment or the outside area itself, but once we were inside we loved it.

  • "The flat was lovely, very modern, beautifully decorated, well equipped and handy for Porthminster beach."

    We did struggle to find the cutlery drawer and the explanation was on the last page of the guide, so I think a sign in the kitchen or on the drawers would help. I have tiny minor niggles and we did ring the office but gave up on hold on Saturday 27th. My husband rang in the week but the office would not take a report from him! A canvas print ( one of a group of 4) had fallen off the wall and an attempt to stick it up with duct tape had been made. The coat hooks nearest the front door came off the wall, my husband replaced it and then we didn't hang anything on it all week. The toilet seat is shifting sideways when sat on and the shower drain comes off too easily with a bent screw underneath preventing it being fixed back in place. I also think the blinds are inadequate for bedrooms, letting far too much light through and not feeling very private considering the windows are on to a public courtyard. I would recommend blackout level curtains which guests could choose not to use if they like sleeping in the light. I am only raising these points as the flat is nearly perfect.
