The property

Set above St Ives Bay, at Belyars Croft Apartments, in St Ives, this two-bedroom, luxurious penthouse, enjoys inspiring sea views from its living area and balcony, a short walk from the beaches, town centre, harbour and St Ives scenic railway.

Sleeping four and welcoming children over eight, its perfect for a family holiday or romantic beach break. The spacious living area’s clever open plan design allows stunning sea views to flow throughout, through the floor to ceiling glass doors, which lead out onto a private seaward facing balcony, so whether you’re relaxing, dining, or cooking you can benefit from the mesmerising Cornish vista, the vaulted cathedral style ceilings and oak flooring are bathed in natural light from a wall of windows lighting up the sitting area making it a great space to relax, cosy up on the modular five seater sofa and gaze at the seaside scenes or the entertainment package on the 50″ Smart television with full Sky package, including cinema and sport.

The dining area is within the open plan living space and conveniently next to the kitchen, ideal for socialising with those preparing meals and benefiting from its sea views, a circular table with four stylish white chairs provide a centre piece, or if its warm why not dine alfresco on the seaward facing balcony, the contemporary kitchen is well-appointed with white high gloss units, spacious granite worktops and integrated washer/dryer, providing all you desire for a week’s stay.

There is a choice of two bedrooms, both are located at the rear, the master super king sized room has a private en-suite with enclosed shower, the second twin room, is conveniently located opposite the family bathroom, both enjoy beds sumptuously dressed in Egyptian cotton, are lit with natural light through windows and offer plenty of storage space.

The family bathroom with bath and shower-over, is conveniently located by the second bedroom.

A wonderful space to relax and enjoy some ‘me time.’ The stunning seaward facing balcony is accessed from the living area French doors, the decked balcony is a lovely sun-trap benefitting from panoramic views across St Ives Bay and out to Godrevey Lighthouse, a table with four chairs are provided for alfresco dining.

There is a lockable shed within the grounds which is available for guests to use for storing their beach gear, surfboards or bikes. A short walk takes you to the centre of town and the harbour where you’ll find a wealth of shops, cafes and restaurants, St Ives is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches and a pretty harbour with fishing boats ready to supply its restaurants with their daily catch and cobbled streets filled with boutiques and art galleries, the largest is the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, where you’ll find a lot of its former residents work celebrated. Hop on the scenic railway, which hugs the coastline and connects the surrounding area for a breath-taking journey to Carbis Bay, or if you love walking enjoy the dramatic cliffside walk, watching the seals and dolphins along the way, the South West Coast Path heads towards Zenor in one direction and the Hayle Estuary and Carbis Bay Beach in the other. The award winning, Blue Flag, Carbis Bay Beach is simply stunning, azure waters lap onto its golden shores and lifeguards watch over it at peak times, making it ideal for experiencing the water sports on offer.

Watching the sun set over St Michaels Mount, is one of Cornwall’s magical experiences, this historic site is set on its own island near Penzance, a trip to Land’s End and the nearby open air theatre, The Minack, which is dramatically cut out of a Cornish cliff will make a wonderful day trip, if you love gardens Cornwall has many to explore and enjoy including a rainforest at the Eden Project, near St Austell, the children will love feeding the animals at Paradise Park, in Hayle, Newquay Zoo, or the exciting rides at Flambards, theme park near Helston. About the location

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
