Park up in the convenient off-road parking space, before unloading your bags and taking in your stunning surrounding of Belyars Croft.
Stunning oak flooring will welcome you into the open-plan living area, boasting a well-equipped kitchen, beautifully-appointed with granite worktops and glossy white units, where you can look forward to rustling up flavourful meals for your guests with the help of the high-quality crockery and glassware, electric oven, induction hob, microwave and handy dishwasher, ensuring time isn’t wasted doing chores!
Settle down to tuck in to a delicious meal at the dining table for four or take advantage of the warm weather and dine alfresco on the private balcony as you savour the sea views.
As the evening grows darker, retreat to the plush sofa where you can kick-back and watch your favourite series on the large flat screen TV.
Wash away the day with a refreshing shower or indulgent soak in the bath before wrapping up in a high-quality towel and retiring to one of two well-presented bedrooms, with the choice between a super-king-size with en-suite shower room and a twin, each well-presented with crisp white linen, venetian blinds and curtains, twin bedside tables and lamps and ample storage to unpack your belongings, both with a zip/link ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for all parties.

Head into the town centre, where you will find an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, all serving tasty meals prepared with fresh and local produce, as well as well-stocked convenience stores for stocking up on ingredients to create culinary delights in the comfort of Puffins.
Nearby, you will find The Leach Pottery, where you can tour pottery exhibits, take a class and produce your own souvenir or peruse the gift shop.
For the art connoisseurs in your party, be sure to check out the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Gardens as well as the renowned Tate gallery which features both local and international art works.
For a memorable day, why not head to the family-friendly beach of Porthminster, where you can build sandcastles with the little ones, paddle the clear waters or simply sit back and catch the suns rays.
If you can tear yourself away, the popular town of Penzance is easily accessible, here you will find a picturesque promenade and harbour, the excellent Penlee House Gallery & Museum, the lush park of Penlee with its open-air theatre and the 15-acre Trewidden Gardens, along with a ferry terminal which offers trips over to the stunning Isle of Scilly, certainly one not to be missed!
For a memorable day trip, why not head down to the Penwith Heritage Coast, where you will discover the famous Land’s End Attraction which featured in the recent film The Last Bus.

Another fantastic stay at Puffins.
Location is perfect for a gentle stroll into St Ives and to burn off a few pasty calories walking back up the hill at the end of the day. This is our 4th stay here and we are already booked up for next year. My only slight gripe is that the WiFi isn’t great for a family of four with multiple devices and the TV is starting to feel a little dated with many of the smart apps not performing well. If these two things were sorted it would be a 10/10, as it is I’ll give it a 9.5. See you next year Puffins!
Lovely apartment very comfortable and well equipped.
Bedrooms very hot windows only open about an inch which is not a problem in the living area as there is a door leading onto the balcony but the bedrooms were unbearable I think a couple of fans should be supplied. Had to call maintenance as hob would not work very helpful and came out the same day. Nothing wrong with the hob child lock was on. No mention of child lock in the instruction book. Thought the building work next to the apartment was due to be completed by spring 2026 still looks a long way off completion although not nice to look at did not cause us any problems St Ives town about 15 minutes walk you need to be fit. We did find a bus that went from a car park about 200 yards from the apartment down into town and back again £2 each way started at 10am and ran till 11pm after walking the first time we used this for other trips to town and beach. Information on this service could be included in the getting started book or displayed in the apartment. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would recommend Puffins
Puffins is lovely and we'd stay there again any time we return to St.
Ives. The property is clean, the beds are comfortable, it's quiet, and it's easy walking to the center of St. Ives (though you'd better enjoy hills!).

Please note some complimentary toiletries are not currently provided at Puffins for sustainability reasons to avoid unnecessary use of plastic.
Note: Bedroom one is fitted as a super-king as standard, which can be arranged as twins upon request. Bedroom two is fitted as twin beds as standard, which can be arranged as super-king upon request. All bed requests must be made no later than 7 days before your arrival day. Any request made after this date will be subject to enquiry and will incur additional housekeeping costs.
Building Work Notice
We would like to inform residents that building work is currently underway at Carrick Lodge, located adjacent to the Belyars Croft development. The project involves renovating the existing building and constructing an extension. Additionally, ongoing works are taking place on the Belyars Lane access road in front of Belyars Croft. Depending on the nature of the work, noise levels may vary—ranging from extensive noise during some activities to more subdued sounds at other times.
Access to Carrick Lodge by vehicle is via the shared driveway through Belyars Croft’s parking area. The remaining construction work is expected to continue throughout 2026. These works will primarily take place on the front (south) side of the building, which is the area furthest from Belyars Croft.
During this period, residents may experience associated activity and noise throughout the day, with workmen and vehicles present on site. Please be assured that the views from your apartment will not be affected by the ongoing works.

The owner has opted to provide one set of keys however there is a key safe that can be used to store the keys when you leave the apartment if required.
Parking for Puffins is located to the rear of the building in an un-allocated parking space. Please note, the car park is strictly monitored. On arrival you will find a Parking Permit left for you on a Bulldog Clip in the hallway, please ensure this is displayed on your vehicle dashboard AT ALL TIMES as penalties are applied for all vehicles with no Permit clearly displayed.

The annual Fire Alarm checks will be taking place at Belyars Croft on Thursday 23rd April 2026 from 12pm-12:45pm. Access to the property will be required to test the fire alarm in the entrance way. Please do contact Carbis Bay Holidays should you wish to discuss.
