"The chalet was well equipped and clean."

Its an ideal base for travelling around cornwall. Has all the bits and bobs you need including little heaters as the summer draws to a close and starts to get cooler. Nice comfy beds. The decking was also great as seemed to get the sun most of day. Would stay again

Thank you for your lovely feedback, we’re really pleased you liked and enjoyed the chalet. Property Owner

"We had a lovely week at the beach chalet."

Great location, perfectly positioned for beach & surf days. Loved being able to walk to the beach across the impressive sand dunes. So peaceful and quiet. Everyone was very respectful of noise levels. The chalets are apart from each other, so it feels very open and spacious. Beautiful surroundings and we loved exploring the sand dunes. The large decking is so lovely, we had sun from morning until late into the evening, one of the few that does. Will definitely stay again. Thank you

"A little dated but well kept also TV was only unrecognised stations would have been nice to have terrestrial channels therefore a little overpriced."

Thank you for your feedback, The Beach chalet has been painted recently (both inside and out) and the furniture is regularly replaced, but we do like to keep to a beach theme, as it sits directly on the sand dunes, and so reflects its location. With Reference to the terrestrial channels. The TV is a brand new LG 4K Smart TV and does have terrestrial channels (that’s what we watch mostly..), for some reason someone had tried to re-tune the terrestrial channels which resulted in them not being available. I have now re-tuned the terrestrial channels back to how they were, and they are all working correctly now (BBC, ITV etc) In addition to the terrestrial channels, it comes with the normal SMART TV APP’s, plus we have also set-up, I player, ITVX, More 4 (Channel 4 etc) and My5 (Channel 5 etc) so there’s no need for guests to remember their log in. "Amazing chalet and wonderful stay."

Everything we needed for a stay by the beach. The dunes and beach were stunning and only a short walk away. The chalet itself was clean, tidy and well thought out, with plenty of facilities for the duration of our stay. I loved the beach theme. It was lovely to sit on the decking in the evening whilst still getting sunshine. Highly recommend chalet 3 wipeout for your stay.

Chalet 3 Wipeout, a pleasing, single-storey chalet is an almost beach-side retreat, paces from the sand dunes and sea at Upton Towan in Hayle, Cornwall.

This Cornish, two-bedroom chalet sleeps up to four guests; for families, couples, and friends seeking adventures close to this glorious coastline.

Step inside your holiday home and discover an open-plan living space with a sofa and armchair for relaxation after a fun day in the sun, along with a 43" 4K Smart TV.

Rustle up a bite to eat in the small, but adequate kitchen and settle down around the dining table for hearty breakfasts together.

The bathroom will set you up for the day after catching your night’s sleep from one of the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, ideal for children and adults, with storage and hanging facilities too.

The private decked area wraps around the front and side of the chalet, creating a lovely space for sunshine coffees and feasts, with a wonderful backdrop of the sun dunes beyond.

Positioned alongside other chalets, the shared lawn areas are a safe space for children to play, nestled under the sand dunes.

Access to beautiful Hayle and The Towan’s Beach is within paces.

This three-mile stretch of golden sands sits at the mouth of the Hayle estuary and makes a great spot for paddles, swims, surfs, and sandcastle escapades.

At low tide, the beach leads to Gwithian Towans Beach, and from there you can walk into Hayle, where superb pubs, restaurants, and cafes will entice you in.

There are lots of supermarkets for stocking up on those provisions too.

Children will enjoy visiting Paradise Park and JungleBarn with rare birds, animals, and miniature railways.

Ramble the coast path set against the ocean backdrop with Godrevy Lighthouse in the distance and spot the seals.

Within a short drive, the Iconic St Ives resort boasts the Barbara Hepworth Museum, Tate Gallery, and independent boutiques to browse along the cobbled charismatic lanes.

Choose from four stunning beaches for a day by the shore and when hunger strikes, an abundance of food options including quayside pasties and cream teas, will ensure you are fed well.

HAYLE

St Ives 6.3 miles; Penzance 7.4 miles.

Hayle is in the far-flung south western corner of Cornwall and sits on an important RSPB wildlife estuary flowing out to the beautiful St Ives Bay, where visitors can enjoy three miles of golden sandy beaches, walks, history and wildlife. Hayle has plenty of activities out of the water too; Paradise Park is a wildlife park, home to some spectacular parrots, otters, and red pandas. Hayle has a range of shops, restaurants and bars scattered around the estuary and harbour area. There are skittles and karting for the family, and for golfers, one of the best links golf courses in Cornwall is at Lelant, a mile out of Hayle. But the jewel of Hayle is the three miles of golden sandy beach, with fantastic surfing at Gwithian where there is a surf shop, lessons and hire of equipment. For the less energetic there are beach cafés where you can take in the views and watch the children play. As Hayle is centrally located you can easily access many other places by either public transport (there is a train station at Hayle) or driving. St. Ives is a short drive away where you can wander through the narrow streets, visit the art galleries, or admire the colourful sub-tropical gardens. St Ives harbour has its own small fishing fleet and there are plentiful boat trips skippered by locals keen to showcase the best that Cornwall has to offer, whether it be seal watching at Seal Island, a couple of hours' mackerel fishing or a relaxing trip to Godrevy Lighthouse. Within easy reach of Hayle is the Minack Theatre, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Eden Project, St. Michael’s Mount and many other fantastic tourist attractions for dry or wet days.
