“Generally a very good experience, however it should be pointed out that this cottage is not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.”

In our seventies and suffering from arthritis we found the steep narrow staircase difficult to use. This was compounded by the fact that the only WC was upstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped, though additional crockery would be useful owing to there being a dishwasher. Difficult long rutted track to the cottage with deep potholes.

Here at Polgear View we welcome and value feedback, as its how we improve and make all visitors stay comfortable and enjoyable. Polgear View does have a steep staircase as shown in the promotional photos, and for this reason we built a downstairs toilet, located in the study area. On taking advice from Cornish Cottage Holidays literature, we have included what is deemed to be sufficient crockery etc. To ensure we meet our guests' expectations, we always send an introductory text message without contact details, so if there is something which isn't quite right, or doesn't meet expectations, we can be contacted and rectify this in the shortest possible timeframe. So please, if you find something that doesn't meet your requirements, contact us straight away. We also understand that where we live is not to everyone liking, as we do live at the end of a long track, which can become pitted. This is why we insisted on including in the description that the approach is not suitable for very low cars. Property Owner
